Getting Started Verify your equipment, supplies and cleaning products are filled and on your cart. 2 Check to see if equipment is in good working order. 3 Put on personal protective equipment. Common Areas (Each of these rooms needs some of the same cleaning tasks done) Remove trash. 2 Remove recyclables. 3 High dusting and 4 normal dusting. Damp mop the floor.
Entryways and Hallways Vacuum Vacuum mats and then roll up mats so you can dust mop later. 2 Cleaning furnishings Spot or damp clean any washable frequently touched surfaces. 3 Urns and Garbage Empty trash containers.
Floors Starting Remove freestanding objects, pick up debris. 2 Use putty knife to remove gum. Dust Mopping 3 Sweep, then use a dustpan and hand broom to pick up debris and dispose into trash container. 4 Mark off areas to be cleaned using Wet Floor signs. 5 Apply solution according to label directions. 6 Pick up solution. Note: Wring mop frequently. You may need to change the mop solution more than once.
Vacuuming Getting Started Elevators 5 Pick up large debris. Start high and work low. Vacuuming 2 Use an M or W pattern. 6 Dust lights and 7 ceiling fixtures and spot clean. Stairwells 3 Use a General Purpose Spotter to remove carpet stains. Allow time to dwell and blot with paper towel or clean cloth and rinse. 4 Vacuum if carpeted, or damp clean resilient surfaces. Sweep or vacuum from top to bottom.

Apply product to INTERIOR of toilets and urinals 5 Force the water down the trap. 6 Apply the bowl cleaner/ 7 disinfectant under the rim and in the bowl, swab/brush to apply. Let cleaner/ disinfectant dwell in the bowl per label directions.

Apply product to sinks and countertops Fill Dispensers Empty Trash 9 Let cleaner/ disinfectant dwell per label directions 0 Check and refill all dispensers. Don t press down on the trash. There may be sharp objects in the trash. 2 Place liner in an approved disposal container. 3 Spray with disinfectant, cleaner and wipe dry following label directions. 4 Place a new liner in the trash can and return to the proper location.

Spot clean walls Clean showers and tubs 25 Spray cleaner on cloth. 26 Wipe and rinse according to label directions. 27 Use restroom cleaner for removal of soap scum. 28 In a large shower area a portable dispenser or a pressure washer can be used.

Use bacteriabased cleaner or chlorinated high alkaline cleaner in floor drains. 30 34 Damp mop the floor with a disinfectant, general purpose cleaner or deodorant digester/cleaner. Mop with bacteriabased cleaner to remove lingering odors and stains. 3 Start from the farthest corner and work towards the door. 32 Remove Wet Floor signs after floor is dry.
