T14017 8 Person Stone Oval Raclette USING YOUR APPLIANCE The Raclette allows you to simultaneously cook on the stone slab and in the pans underneath. Raclettes originate from Switzerland and are a popular culinary tradition. Often used for party cooking, your very own stone Raclette allows you to cook with your guests and host the party all at once. The non-stick Raclette pans are placed under the heating element to melt cheese or cook other foods, whilst your food is grilling on the stone plate above. 1. Connect the Raclette to the power supply. Turn the switch from MIN TO MAX position. The indicator light will come on. Pre-heat the Raclette for 5 minutes, using the heat setting (min. to max.) to find the required heat by degrees. 2. Depending on the required heat, place food into the small non-stick Raclette pans and place them under the grill. 3. To grill, place food directly on to the grill plate and grill until done. 4. When you have finished using the Raclette, turn the switch to MIN position and unplug it from the socket. 5. Wait until the appliance is completely cool before moving or cleaning. ATTENTION: Do not use a multiple outlet strip or extension cable. After Use 1. Set the temperature regulator to heat level 0 and pull the plug out of the mains socket. 2. Allow the unit to cool down thoroughly before cleaning it. 6 www.towerhousewares.co.uk

Safety and Instruction Manual CARE AND CLEANING 1. Ensure the plug is removed from the power socket before commencing with any cleaning or maintenance. 2. Once the Raclette is entirely cool, clean it with a mild cleaner, using a soft cloth. 3. DO NOT attempt to clean the Raclette whilst it is still hot. 4. DO NOT use any hard brushes, abrasive cleaning materials, or anything that could scratch the Raclette to clean it with. 5. Other than the removable grill plate, no part of the main body should be immersed in water to clean. 6. Store the Raclette in a cool, dry place after cleaning. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS! 1. DO NOT operate the Raclette near any water sources or flammable liquids. 2. DO NOT operate the Raclette on or near any hot surfaces such as hot plates, electric stoves etc. 3. Ensure the Raclette is placed on a stable, secure surface. 4. Never try to touch the hot surface of the Raclette before it has cooled down. Storage To store your appliance: 1. Unplug power cord from the power outlet. 2. Allow the grill to fully cool. 3. Store the power cord and grill together. 4. Store on a flat, dry level surface. Helpline: +44 (0) 844 984 0055 7
