To repet the timer, press the utton when the indictor is not displyed. To help you to fll sleep comfortly nd prevent excessive wrming or cooling in sleep, the SLEEP timer controls the temperture setting utomticlly in ccordnce with the set time shown s follows. The ir conditioner completely turns off fter the set time hs elpsed. (Initil setting: F ) When you press this utton, the displyed temperture unit switches to C, nd returns to F when you press it gin. When you press this utton, press it gently y using the tip of llpoint pen or other smll oject in correct direction s shown in this fi gure. ECONOMY utton Strts or stops ECONOMY opertion tht sves more electricity consumption thn the other opertions with conservtive djustment of the room temperture. When you press the utton, the ECONOMY indictor on the indoor unit turns on. In COOL mode, the room temperture will e djusted t few degree higher thn the defi ned temperture. In HEAT mode, the room temperture will e djusted t few degree lower thn the defi ned temperture. Especilly in COOL mode, you cn hve improved dehumidifiction without signifi cntly lowering the room temperture. Notes: In COOL or HEAT mode, the mximum output of this opertion is pproximtely 70 % of usul ir conditioning opertion. This opertion cnnot e performed during temperture monitoring y AUTO mode. POWERFUL utton Strts POWERFUL opertion tht enles quick cooling down or wrming up of the room. When you press the utton to strt the POWERFUL opertion, the indoor unit emits short eeps. POWERFUL opertion is utomticlly turned off in the following situtions: Adjusted room temperture reched to the defi ned temperture in temperture setting in COOL, DRY, or HEAT mode. 0 minutes hve pssed fter fi nishing the POWERFUL opertion mode setting. It is not turned off utomticlly during setting of the POWERFUL opertion. Notes: The irfl ow direction nd the fn speed re controlled utomticlly. This opertion cnnot e performed simultneously with ECONOMY opertion. To return to norml opertion, press the utton gin. Then the indoor unit emits short eeps. Remote controller disply In this section, ll the possile indictors re displyed for description. In ctul opertion, the disply is linked with the utton opertion, nd only shows the necessry indictors for ech setting. 6 Signl trnsmitter Aim to signl receiver of the indoor unit properly. Signl trnsmit indictor on the remote controller disply shows tht signl from the remote controller is eing trnsmitted. Operting rnge is pproximtely 7 m. You will her eep if the trnsmitted signl hs een sent properly. If there is no eep, press the utton on the remote controller gin. Automtic defrosting opertion When outdoor temperture is very low with high humidity, frost my form on the outdoor unit during the heting opertion, nd it could reduce the operting performnce of the product. For frost protection, microcomputer-controlled utomtic defrost function is equipped in this ir conditioner. If frost forms, the ir conditioner will temporrily stop, nd defrost circuit will operte riefl y (mximum of minutes.) OPERATION indictor on the indoor unit links during this opertion. If frost forms on the outdoor unit fter the heting opertion, the outdoor unit will stop utomticlly fter it opertes for few minutes. Then the utomtic defrosting opertion strts. Auto-restrt function In event of power interruption such s lckout, the ir conditioner stops once. But it restrts utomticlly nd performs previous opertion when the power supply is resumed. If ny power interruption occurs fter the timer is set, counting down of the timer will e reset. After the power supply is resumed, the TIMER indictor on the indoor unit links to notify you tht there hs een timer fult. In such cse, reset the timer for your opportune time. Mlfunctions cused y other electricl devices: Use of other electricl pplinces such s n electric shver or nery use of wireless rdio trnsmitter my cuse the mlfunction of the ir conditioner. If you encounter such mlfunction, turn off the circuit reker once. Then turn it on gin, nd resume opertion y using the remote controller. En-

Pull up the hndle of the fi lter in direction of the rrow nd relese the clws.
