They contain the maximum ferrous content to make it as receptive to magnets as sheet steel. n MS Plus Grey Liner Our most versatile material, MS Plus Liner is 61cm wide and can be used plain, painted or as a base to digital print, dry erase, chalk board or wallpaper. SIX WAYS TO USE: 1. PLAIN LINER Use it plain, the natural grey colouring of our Liner is its natural pigmentation is a favoured colourway in raw spaces such as industrial lofts and offices. 2. LINER + PAINT Apply an all-surface primer to the Liner and you may overpaint with any colour emulsion. Use white primer for light colour overpainting, and grey primer for darker colour overpainting. 3. LINER + WALLPAPER MS Plus Liner was specifically created to work beneath any wallpaper. Simply paste the selected wallpaper directly on top of the Liner following the manufacturers guidelines. 4. LINER + DIGITAL PRINT You can apply a digitally printed wallpaper directly onto our Liner to personalise your interior. 5. LINER + WRITEABLE ADHESIVE FINISH You can apply a dry erase or chalk board adhesive finish 6. LINER + PRINTABLE MAGNETIC SHEET You can apply a printable magnetic sheet directly onto our Liner to make an easy to change display in a shop, public area or exhibition. n MS Plus Dry Erase For message and brain storm areas, MS Plus Gloss White Dry Erase is 97cm wide and is best used in a horizontal format. Use with high quality dry erase pens and spray cleaner for best results. MESSAGE AREAS The gloss white dry erase laminate may be used as a message area or notice board. The super tough PTA finish means pen marks are easily removed with dry wipe or spray. Hang horizontally at chest height for optimum writing usage. Finish edges with moulded wood or aluminium trim for the best results. n MS Plus Paintable For painted areas, MS Plus Matt White Paintable is 97cm wide and is primed for immediate painting. It may be used in vertical or horzontal strips. Allow materials to fully dry before over-painting for best results. PAINTED AREAS MS Plus Matt White Paintable may be covered with any emulsion, acrylic, egg shell or oil based paint to perfectly blend in with other painted walls. Allow the material to fully dry before painting and follow the paint manufacturers guidelines. MagScapes Custom Service uses the latest digital printers, scanners and cutters so you can specify the: - image, size and finish for the wallcovering - image, size, shape and finish of the magnets In effect, creating your own background image with foreground magnets. n Custom Wallcovering MS Lite Printable is 111cm wide - we create custom wallcoverings using MS Lite to work with MS Lite custom magnets. If, however, you also wish to use strong neodymium magnets then we will recommend a MS Plus wallcovering solution as shown below. We can work with image files (photos) or illustrator files (drawings). Don t worry about technical issues our studio will help every step of the way. OPTIONS: 1. MS LITE PRINTABLE MS Lite Printable is printed at 110cm width. It may be digitally printed using solvent, latex or UV inks and is tiled to enable butt to or overlap and cut joins. MS Lite magnets may be printed using the same inks for colour matching and cut to shape. Note: MS Lite magnets may be used for display, education or decorative purpose - but they do not have the pull force to hold other items to the wall. 2. MS PLUS OPTIONS MS Plus Grey Liner is 61cm wide and used as a base for custom wallcoverings to enable use with low or higher power magnets. Wonderwall Digital Wallcoverings are 120cm wide and are used on top of the Liner in any of the following finishes: - Wonderwall Aqua Matt Wallpaper - Wonderwall Matt Vinyl Wallcovering - Wonderwall Silk Vinyl Wallcovering Wonderwall materials may be digitally printed using solvent, latex or UV inks and is tiled to enable butt to or overlap joins. The stages to creating a custom wallcovering are as follows: - initial briefing between designer and studio - review of specification, artwork and dimensions - full quotataion provided by MagScapes - payment provided by customer - artwork checking stage - proofing stage (copies provided to customer and printer) - printing stage - delivery to customer n Custom Magnets Our custom magnets are cut using precision digital cutters. MS Lite self-adhesive magnet sheet is 61cm wide and forms the base of the magnet with a print or special material face. We can work with image files (photos) or illustrator files (drawings). MS LITE PRINTED FACE Printed paper is normally applied to the face with a matt or gloss laminate for protection. 2. MS LITE SPECIAL MATERIAL FACE Special materials may also be applied to the face of the magnet such as: - 3mm felt (colour options) - 3mm acrylic (colour options) - 6mm foam (colour options) - 5mm cork Note: Unfamiliar materials may be specified but will require testing before production. Installation Guide Easy installation for your decorator. MagScapes wallcoverings are easy to hang simply follow the instructions below: Tools required - A felt or sponge roller for paste application - Scissors or sharp blade knife - Straight edge - Soft wallpaper brush - Soft cloth or sponge Wall preparation - For best results, ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, sound, mirror smooth and free from paint or chemicals - Best results will be obtained if the plaster is sealed. Where necessary fill holes with filler and use fine sandpaper to smooth. - Switch off the supply of electricity to sockets and light switches as a precaution - Switch off radiators during installation. Removal of radiators will aid installation if in the immediate area but not essential Wallcovering Allow wallcoverings to adjust to room temperature. Ensure the correct side faces the wall: MS Lite Printable: The non woven paper side to face the wall MS Plus Liner: The shiny side to face the wall MS Plus Dry Erase: The black glossy side to face the wall MS Plus Paintable: The black side to face the wall Adhesive paste Ensure all MagScapes wallcoverings are hung using a high quality ready-mixed wallcovering paste. Hanging instructions - Cut wallcovering into required lengths - Pour paste contents into paste tray - Paste the wall. Soaking is not necessary - Apply the cut lengths, edge to edge, vertically or horizontally as required - Use a soft wallpaper brush to remove air bubbles and creases - Use a straight edge and sharp trimming knife at corners - Remove any excess paste with a damp sponge - Leave to dry thoroughly (min 24 hrs) - The wall is now ready to hold magnets Care and maintenance - To clean wallcoverings and/or magnets wipe with damp cloth. MS Plus Liner Finishing options Once MS Plus Liner has been applied follow these steps to create your desired finish. Overhang with a digital or regular wallpaper - Ensure the MS Plus Lined wall is thoroughly dry - Check the wallcovering instructions and apply paste as directed - Lay the chosen wallcovering over the MS Plus Liner - Use a soft wallpaper brush to remove bubbles and creases - Use a straight edge and trimming knife or scissors at corners - Remove any excess paste with a damp sponge - Leave to dry thoroughly before applying magnets Paint with your favourite colour - Ensure the MS Plus wallcovering is thoroughly dry - Apply an All-Surface Primer* using brush or roller - Allow to dry thoroughly (min 24hrs) - Apply one or two coats of coloured emulsion paint as required Note: Use a grey primer for dark colour overpainting * Recommended All-Surface Primer - Zinsser Bulls Eye 123, B.I.N primer Finish with an adhesive writeable laminate - Ensure the MS Plus wallcovering is thoroughly dry - Carefully peel one corner back and apply to the wall in the correct position - Slowly peel backing sheet away as you apply the material, flushing air bubbles and creases as you go Call MagScapes Sales on: +44 (0)20 7336 8674 for more information. 2014 MagScapes.
