Introduction Get to Know Your Controller The is a panel/wall mounted controller dedicated to control fruit ripening process. Features: Key Introduction 7 Segment LED display & LCD with backlight to display all parameters and control status In the absence of a CO2 sensor, will work on an ON/OFF logic provided for Damper/Fan operation to vent CO2. Automatic control of Ethylene by operation of a Solenoid valve. In the absence of an ethylene sensor, unit will work on an On/Off logic provided for ethylene solenoid valve. Real time clock incase of power failure to keep in memory number of hours operated. One push button activation for complete operation of ripening process. Once this value set at particular value this will not allow set point of RH to go above this value and below low alarm limit RH setting. Example : If High Alarm Limit for RH value set to 9, when of RH reached above 9 HA displayed on 7 segments and alarm relay will ON. 8

You will need to set the CO2 probe calibration mode to.2, which means that once out of the programming mode, the CO2 will show.52 (.5+.2). 7 PROBE CAL. << ETH : PPM" Function : To set probe calibration for Ethylene. Example : Differential for RH, If Differential of RH set to 2 and set point of RH set to 85. then when RH goes to and below (85 2 ) Humidifier will ON and will turn OFF when RH reached to and above RH set point, i.e. 85. In time it may be possible that the display may be offset by a percentages or so. To compensate for this error, you may need to add or minus the percentages required to achieve the correct CO2. ting value is from. to +.. This parameter used to set OFF time for SV when ethylene sensor disbale and SV works on ONOFF logic to maintain ethylene ppm in chamber Function : To set time duration for CO2 control. Hrs ETHYL. SV ON << "TIME : Sec" Note : Process hours = Ethylene dosing + Co2 control hours. To change CO2 CONTROL TIME This is time duration for which CO2 will control and monitor in the ripening chamber, Fan control action (Ventilation) activated during this period. This parameter used to set ON time for SV when ethylene sensor disable. Controller works on ONOFF logic. SV operate on this ON OFF duration to maintain ethylene ppm in the ripening chamber. 6 5 Function : To set On duration for fan when Co2 probe fail or disable. This paarmeter used to set ON time for FAN when co2 sensor disable, and fan works on ONOFF logic to control co2 percentage in chamber. Example : If this parameter is set to 2 minutes and CO2 OFF time set to 4 hours then after every 4 hours Fan will be ON for 2 minutes. Example : If this parameter is set to 6 seconds and SV OFF time set to 4 hours then after every 4 hours SV will be ON for 6 seconds. 5 6

Used to set sensor enable or disable, when enable display will show sensing When disable display will blank. SENSOR LOGIC << "TEMP" To change SENSOR LOGIC TEMP. parameter, press the SET key. 33 Used to set hours minuts, and seconds. RTC setting. 32 Function : To activate CO2 sensor. Used to set ethylene process start delay. Ethylene dosing start when temperature achieved (temperature set point), or process start hrs whichever condition acheived first. Function : To set power on alarm ALARM DELAY << delay. SET To change ALARM DELAY SET parameter, press the SET key. Used to set power on alarm delay. After power on system will not generate alarm for this duration. 38 35 DIGITAL INPUT << SET Function: To set digital input logic. To change DIGITAL INPUT SET Added for future development. parameter, press the SET key. Not implemented/ applicable. DISABLE HIGH DISABLE 6 UNIT ID << SET To change ID parameter, press the SET key. 39 ALARM << SET To change ALARM SET parameter, press the SET key. 36 DISABLE ENABLE ENABLE 9 Function : To activate alarm relay. Used to set Alarm relay enable or disable. 64 Function : To set ID. This parameter is used to set the ID of the device. Added for future development. Not implemented/ applicable. 2

setting method KEYPAD LOCK << SET To change KEYPAD LOCK 4 Disable Enable Enable Function: To lock keypad. This parameter can lock the keypad so that tampering is not possible by bystanders. Disable = keypad unlocked Enable = keypad locked When locked all parameters can only be viewed, but not modified. RESTORE FACT. << SET To change RESTORE FACT 4 No Yes 36 No EP To end programming 2 Function : To restore default settings of the controller. When set to Yes all parameters are programmed to factory values. Useful to debug setting related problems.
