Product Concept of FC4500 Series Advanced Flatbed Cutting Plotter for Plotting, Cutting and Creasing/Scoring applications. Expand into the label and package markets by upgraded registration mark sensor and developed new tools. 1. Built-in ARMS function (Advanced Registration Mark Sensing system) The built-in registration mark sensor furthermore simplifies contour cutting of printed materials. When combined with the Cutting Master 2 software provided as a standard accessory, the ARMS function can be utilized to its maximum potential. 1. Create registration mark 2. Read registration mark 3. 2. Simple creasing function A simple creasing function to create fold lines for clean folding on micro-flute and cardboard has been enabled. Point 1: Up to three fold lines can be selected. If two or three fold lines have been selected, the spacing between the lines can be also specified. Repeated creasing operations also can be specified for each of the lines. Creasing start point also can be specified. Guidelines for selecting single-line, doubleline, or triple-line creasing Line spacing Single-line creasing Materials of a thickness of up to 0.1 mm Double-line creasing Cardboard of a thickness of approximately 0.1 to 0.5 mm Triple-line creasing Corrugated cardboard of a thickness of approximately 0.3 to 0.5 mm (rigid cardboard) Point 2: In consideration of the characteristics of corrugated card board (F and G flutes), the creasing force and the cutting force can be specified independently in both the X and Y directions. This prevents surface damage caused by an excessive force.
3. Advanced reverse-side cutting/creasing The FC4500 series plotters feature reverse-side cutting and creasing functions to prevent traces of the creasing operation from appearing on the printed surface. (A plain and simple operation is provided when the Cutting Master 2 is used.) 1: The media is loaded on the FC4500 with face up condition. 2: The data for registration mark and cutting/creasing is sent from the Cutting Master 2. 3: FC4500 cuts out the registration mark in order to be able to read it from the reverse side. 4: The media is flipped over and is loaded on the FC4500. It is face down condition. 5: FC4500 starts reading the registration mark and then it makes creasing/cutting the media from the reverse side. Reading the registration marks from the printed side. 4. Overlay Function (Repeated Cutting Function) Overlay function can make FC4500 cut a thick media which is difficult to cut by a single cutting operation. Send a data... Usage of micro-flute is increasing at the recent time by ecological awareness, and also considered the future trend. FC4500 is suitable to cut the G or F grade of micro-flute. It is laminated or pouched in some case, media also can be cut by FC4500. High cutting quality is required. FC4500 can provide it.

FC4500 cutting plotter series is very suitable for making prototype. Electrical Industry Making sample, prototype of FPC (Flexible Print Circuit) FPC is created in multiple layers.
