It is your responsibility to ensure that all users of the equipment are informed of all warnings and precautions. 1. Before starting any exercise program, you should consult your physician to determine if you have any medical or physical conditions that could put your health and safety at risk, or prevent you from using the equipment properly. Your physician s advice is essential if you are taking medication that affects your heart rate, blood pressure, or cholesterol level. 2. Be aware of your body s signals. Incorrect or excessive exercise can damage your health. Stop exercising if you experience any of the following symptoms: pain, tightness in your chest, irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath, lightheadedness, dizziness, or nauseous feeling. If you do experience any of these conditions, you should consult your physician before continuing with your exercise program. 3. Keep children and pets away from the equipment. The equipment is designed for adult use only. 4. Use the equipment on a solid, flat level surface with a protective cover for your floor or carpet. To ensure safety, the equipment should have at least 2 feet (60 CM) of free space all around it. 5. Ensure that all nuts and bolts are securely tightened before using the equipment. The safety of the equipment can only be maintained if it is regularly examined for damage and/ or wear and tear. 6. Always use the equipment as indicated. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1: Attach the Front Stabilizer (No. 53) to the Main Frame (No. 42) using 2 Bolts (No. 51) and 2 Washers (No. 52). Tighten and secure with Allen Wrench (No. 105). STEP 2: Fix the 2 Bolts (No. 44) into the bottom hole in position A of Main Frame (No. 42) with Spanner (No.104). Insert the 2 Bolts (No. 44) through the Pedals (No. 43L/R) into the upper hole in position B of the Main Frame (No. 42) and tighten with Spanner (No.104). NOTE: The Pedals (No. 43L/R) should rest on the Bolts (No. 44) that are in position A 6

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 3: Insert the Seat (No. 95) into the Sliding Rail (No. 99). Insert the Limit Axle (No. 91) into the hole on the back of the Sliding Rail (No. 99). Attach the Limit Mat (No. 86) onto the Limit Axle (No. 91) using 1 Screw (No. 84) and 1 Washer (No. 85), then tighten with Spanner (No. 104). STEP 4: Attach the Sliding Rail (No. 99) onto the Rear Stabilizer (No. 98) using 4 Screws (No. 103), 4 Spring Washers (No. 94), and 4 Washers (No. 52). Tighten and secure with Allen Wrench (No. 105). 7

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 5: Attach the Sliding Rail (No. 99) to the bolt of the Main Frame (No. 42), then insert the Pull Pin (No. 46). Connect Trunk Wire 1 (No. 41) with the Sensor Wire (No. 90). Your rowing machine is now assembled. 8

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS This rowing machine has dual functions. You can row while seated or you can stand on the Foot Plates (No. 72 & 78) and pull the handlebar up vertically, giving you more options to exercise your arms and upper body. To use for standing exercises, turn Right Foot Plate (No. 72) clockwise and turn Left Foot Plate (No. 78) counterclockwise (as the left picture shown) to the widest angle. Note: when used for standing exercises, please turn Pedals (No. 43L/R) to the position as the left picture shown. To use the machine as rowing machine, turn Right Foot Plate (No. 72) counterclockwise and the Left Foot Plate (No. 78) clockwise, back to center. Note: when used as rowing machine, please turn back Pedals (No. 43L/R) to position as the left picture shown. 9

ADJUSTMENT GUIDE CAUTION! Moving parts, such as the seat, can crush and cut. Keep hands clear of the sliding rail during use! PEDAL STRAP ADJUSTMENT The pedal strap is adjustable and can be personalized to fit the user s foot size. MOVING THE MACHINE To move the machine, lift the rear stabilizer until the transportation wheels on the front stabilizer touch the ground. With the wheels on the ground, you can transport the rower to the desired location with ease. ADJUSTING THE BALANCE Adjust the Adjustable End Caps (No. 4) on the rear stabilizer of the machine if the machine is unbalanced during use. ADJUSTING THE RESISTANCE Rotate the Tension Control Knob (No. 36) clockwise to increase the level of resistance. Rotate the tension control counter-clockwise to decrease the level of resistance. Tension levels are set at Level 1 being the lowest and Level 8 being the highest REPLACE THE BATTERIES Two AAA batteries are included in Computer (No. 35). To replace the batteries, remove Computer (No. 35) from Main Frame (No. 42), and disconnect the Trunk Wire 1 (No. 41) and the wire of Computer (No. 35). Replace both batteries. Do not mix battery types and do not mix old and new batteries. After the replacement, connect Trunk Wire 1 (No. 41) to the computer wire and put Computer (No. 35) back onto the Main Frame (No. 42). Dispose or recycle batteries according to your state and local rules. 10

EXERCISE METER Our computer on the Dual Function Rowing Machine allows the user to tailor a personalized workout by monitoring their progress. During a workout, the computer will alternately and repeatedly display your Time, Count, Calories Burned, Total Count, and Scan (all of the above). With our easy-to-use computer, the user can efficiently track their fitness improvements from one workout to the next. FUNCTION KEY: MODE: To select your specification mode and/or turn on computer. SET: To set a value of Time or Calories (when not in Scan mode). RESET: Press to reset Time or Calories. FUNCTIONS AND OPERATIONS: SCAN: Press MODE button until SCAN appears. The computer will rotate through the five functions in the following order: TIME, COUNT, CALORIES, and TOTAL COUNT. Each function will display for 6 seconds. TIME: Counts the total time elapsed during your current workout. COUNT: Counts the number of rowing strokes from your current workout. CAL: Counts the total calories burned from current workout. TOTAL COUNT: Counts the total amount of strokes from the first use. AUTO ON/OFF: The power will turn off automatically once there s no activity for 4 minutes. The meter will reactivate once the machine is put into motion or when you press a button.
