The infrared thermometers can measure the surface temperature accurately and they can display the exact measurements in less than a second. Causes of an error in the coolingsystem can be: a concealed cooler block, a broken thermostat, or a blocked coolant pump. With the hand thermometer you are able to quickly scan the front and back of the cooling unit. A sudden change in the temperature can indicate a concealing within the system. The temperature of the electric ventilator as soon as it is switched on can also be displayed very easy and quick. A portable Infrared thermometer is a very useful device for diagnosis of an air conditioning system. The temperature by the entrance and outlet hoses of the heating blocks can easily be measured, the measurements can be compared to the statements of the manufacturer. Concerning inspection of the effectiveness of the air conditioning: the air temperature is measured indirectly over the temperature by the air difuser.
