CONVEYORS & CAROUSELS Renmar bring to the UK the Virginio Nastri range of conveyors. Virginio Nastri has 35 years of experience in the plastic field as a producer of conveying, separation and automation systems suitable for injection and blow moulded parts. The production of the company has been divided into 3 major lines: Standard Line; including conveyor belts and sprue separators. Custom Line; including custom made conveyors on request and automation system for control of moulded parts. This includes the new box lift system as well as the new extendable conveyor. Automation Line; including automatic equipment for storage of moulded parts next to the moulding machine. Virginio Nastri range of belt conveyor systems and product handling/transfer equipment is of excellent quality with an emphasis on design and durability to survive tough environments. GRANULATORS The Engin Plast range of granulators is extensive with beside the machine, through to heavy duty central applications. To complement the range they have units to suit extrusion and thermoforming for scrap recovery. SHREDDERS Teaming with Italian manufacturer ISVE we provide single and four shaft shredders series. SINGLE SHAFT SHREDDERS The single-shaft shredders comprise of a robust construction for the most arduous of application, like purge or lump waste size reduction. FOUR SHAFT SHREDDERS The multipurpose four shaft machines are suitable for shredding an enormous number of waste materials and can be introduced inline to operate continuous working. MATERIALS HANDLING EQUIPMENT Renmar provide a vast range of materials handling equipment enabling us to offer an array of solutions including blenders, dryers and hopper loaders. DES DRYERS The Renmar range of DES dehumidified dryers is specifically designed for the plastics industry. As such they are packed with features which include an automatic programming facility offering a variety of different timing options together with industry leading safety features including compressed air failure warning, over temperature alarm and desiccant bed change-over valve location. The range consists of nine different models, starting with the DES111 which has air-flow of 50m3/h and a hopper size of 15 litres up to models with hopper sizes of 5000 litres. The electronic, control panel allows easy setting via the internal data base of main materials. BLENDERS The Engin Plast range of Trio blenders offer accurate and reliable quantification of material consumption. Ideal for extrusion, blow moulding and injection moulding applications. With huge capacities ranging from 20-130kgs/hr with the T1, through to 1500-2000kgs/hr with the T10. With options to be either machine mounted or floor mounted, in addition to installed material handling systems. METAL DETECTORS & METAL SEPARATORS Through Renmar, Pulsotronic offer a complete range of metal detection and separation equipment from the simple under the belt detector through to tunnel detectors and machine mounted separators. METAL DETECTORS Pulsotronic offer two options for metal detection devices for conveyors - the tunnel and surface detectors. The tunnels are ideal for higher products from 50mm+ and the surface detectors are ideal for flat products with a height of no more than 50mm. TEMPERATURE CONTROL As the UK distributor for AEC we offer a wide range of temperature control equipment including mould heaters and oil heaters. In addition through our partnership with Swegon we can also offer a vast range of chillers. TCU/ECU MOULD HEATERS These provide highly accurate control for production applications requiring a continuous supply of temperature-controlled water up to 150 c. The units are designed for injection moulding machines and are equipped with heating capacities ranging between 9kw and 48kw. The units can be tailored to suit specific needs with the addition of special parameters or communication ports. CHILLERS Swegon is a market-leading global manufacturer of both air and water cooled chillers. The air-cooled PowerCool range from 14kW up to 96kW. ENERGY SAVING - INTEGRA UNITS The problem If you use electric motors you can profit from Integra. Energy can be a significant component cost in the production of most products we purchase. Indeed, some 65% of all energy in industry is consumed by AC induction motors. Approximately 10% of all these motors are operating in applications plications that require e variable speed conditions. However, the vast majority needs to operate at a single or fixed-speed. Installing a variable speed drive onto a fixed speed application ation is a bad idea. It can increase the running cost by a much as 6-8%. The loading on a motor during the typical duty cycle can fluctuate dramatically, ranging from 0-100%. While there is a measure of reactance ce within the motor windings, the motor has no way of intelligently adjusting the amount of power it consumes in relation to the job of work it does. EXTRUSION With probably one of the largest ranges of extrusion equipment on offer, Amut have engineered solutions for pipe, profile, sheet, membrane and coating applications. These machines are designed and built in-house at their factories in Italy. They have full engineering capabilities to manufacture all the screws and barrels with their own nitriding plant for the hardening of these. With screws from 25mm to 200mmØ they can vary the LD ratio to give the most comprehensive range to enable the processing of all known polymers. They have their own control design department with the main control being Siemens based it provides the best user friendly operator system, so much so they have called it EASY. The machines all have modem connection for remote access by Amut service technicians wherever the equipment is located in the world, allowing instant fault finding and customer support without the need to expensive site visits and minimising downtime in production. Here you can see a rpet sheet extrusion line used for packaging materials, the technology available allows for the use of recycled PET flakes without the need for crystallising and drying. The lines are configured according to customer s requirements of widths, thickness and output. They can be co-ex to give many combinations of layers depending on final product application. THERMOFORMING Amut-Comi offer probably one of the widest range of thermoforming lines for industrial and packaging applications. The ACF shown here is the forming and steel rule die cutting machine these are used for the production of trays, plates, lids, plant pots and general food containers in a wide range of materials such as HIPS, PP and PET. The AMP machine is available in different widths and uses tilting mould technology to produce drinking cups and yoghurt pots. The machine is complete with automatic stacking devices and can have other down-stream handling equipment incorporated. The FTV series is used for shallow designed products with lower geometric tolerances, generally for lower output plate and tray applications. These use the in-mould forming and punching technology which keeps the foot print of the machine to the minimum. All machines can be fitted with end of line in-line granulation of skeletal waste as an option to conventional wider units. T: 0844 693 3225 13

RECYCLING Part of the Amut-Ecotech range of products includes conveyors, automatic sorting systems utilising optical sensors, picking station and fully automatic bunkers. These are installed for both MRF and PRF applications, to enable paper, card, film and plastics to be recovered for recycling. These are generally installed in the same area as the wash lines. The Amut patented de-labelling machine used to remove labels and sleeves from bottles prior to entering a wash line facility. The unit generally forms part of what is known as a mini PRF where we control the feed of bottles entering the de-labeller and then using ballistic separators afterwards to filter out labels and caps so that only bottles enter the next phase. Amut can provide full wash lines for the recycling of PP, PET and film materials. These lines take post-industrial and post-consumer waste by shredding, wet granulating and washing using their patented friction washer to return this material to a high quality product that can be re-used in bottle or packaging applications. 14 www.renmar.co.uk

CAST FILM The Amut Dolci range of cast film has many applications within the packaging film sector, from simple films to multi-layer stretch wrap lines. These can run upto 7 or 9 layers with line speeds of 1000m/min. Here you can see a conventional wind up unit on the end of a line. With increased outputs these lines now offer fully automatic versions complete with down-stream handling systems to load cores, erect boxes, pack, collate and palletise. The Amut Dolci range of cast film lines can be delivered complete with multi-stage gravimetric blending systems. BLOWN FILM The Amut-Dolci range of blown film line are available in mono layer and multi-layer with 3, 5, 7 & 9 layers for technical and barrier film applications. It is complete with Dolci Logicontrol supervisor systems as standard and fully integrated gravimetric blending system. Here you can see a typical bubble arrangement with support cage, we have many different configurations for the die head from multi-split through to the stackable pancake style. Automatic cooling rings used for IBC to boost output. There are many options for winder units, from basic reel version to wide web contact style. We also have a fully automatic system with GAP winding and have the possibility to link straight to a Bielloni in-line printer for multi-colour applications. 16 www.renmar.co.uk

LAMINATING / COATING The Amut Dolci range of extrusion coating seen here has many applications for coating of different substrates from cardboard, paper and film. These can be multi-layer lines for creating barrier layers especially for the food and medical sectors, with widths of 2500mm plus. This image shows a single stage extrusion coating line with over 250m/min line speed. These lines are designed to give optimal coating of narrow and wide webs based on the specific requirement in grams per square metre, utilising AC drive motors to provide economical and profitable production. This is a typical schematic of part of a double stage coating line used to produce medial grade webs and cosmetic tube production. This same technology can be used to encompass additional stages to provide U.H.T aseptic form-fill-seal material on a reel. T: 0844 693 3225 17
