It is a multipurpose oven suited to prepare all kinds of dishes which would normally require a conventional oven. 2. The Homegear Multifunctional Halogen Oven cooks in many ways roasting, baking, grilling, steaming, reheating or defrosting. 3. The Homegear Multifunctional Halogen Oven is economical as it consumes less than half the electricity of a conventional oven and approximately the same as regular microwave oven. 4. The Homegear Multifunctional Halogen Oven generally cooks 20% - 60% faster than a conventional oven. 5. Food cooked with the Homegear Multifunctional Oven is fat free. Wipe the glass bowl clean with a damp cleaning cloth 2. Place lid centrally and securely onto the bowl 3. Set the thermostat to 250C (480F) 4. Set timer for 5 minutes to remove any lubricants from the element (you may notice a slight burning odor but this is normal)
Assembly and cooking instructions 1. Place the under pan on a flat, even, heat resistant surface 2. Place the glass bowl on the under pan 3. Choose either the low or high rack or place inside the glass bowl. If you are using the steaming or frying tray, these should be put on the racks. 4. Put the food on the racks or trays and place the lid onto the bowl, making sure there is enough space between the lid and food. The food should be approximately 1inch from the glass wall to allow maximum circulation 5. If there is not enough space use the extender ring and place on top of the glass bowl. 6. Place the lid on the bowl, and make sure the handle is clipped down securely. The oven cannot be switched on without this being done. 7. Insert the plug firmly into the wall outlet 8. Turn the timer clockwise to your required time. The red power light will remain on while the oven is operational 9. Set the thermostat to the required temperature. The green light will turn on to show that the element in the lid is heating up. Once the required temperature is reached, the lamp will turn off. The oven automatically turns the heater back on when the temperature becomes lower than the set temperature. 10. The timer will switch off after the preset time period has passed and a bell will sound to alert you that the cooking time is over 11. The lid should be placed on the lid holder after use. Do not put it directly onto any work surfaces or anything flammable. 12. To defrost food set the thermostat to 100 degrees Maintenance 1. Light cleaning can be done with a mild washing detergent, warm water and a damp cloth. 2.
