EVO192 v3.0 Fire and Burglary What s New Compatibility: EVO192 v3.0 TM50 v1.31 K641 v2.41 Overview: CP-01 Compliancy Wiring Diagram The following sections/options have been added to the EVO192 panel. They may not be included in any manuals, therefore use this document in conjunction with the Fire and Burglary documentation in order to program your panel. CP-01 Compliancy Digiplex EVO now has added supports for CP-01. The following sections describe all the programming required for your panel to be CP-01 compliant. In addition, in order to be CP-01 compliant, you must ensure that: All system keypads are audible (disable mute) Remote controls panic action shall be programmed with a two button combination only User codes cannot be duplicated; each user must have a unique code User codes cannot contain any of the following characters =/-1 Siren squawk on arm/disarm through the keypad must be enabled CAUTION: The Fire Alarm Verification feature (Auto Verified Fire Zone) is not supported on 2-wire smoke detectors. This feature may be enabled for 4-wire smoke detectors only. Call Waiting Cancel feature on a non-call waiting line will prevent successful communication to the central station. All smoke detectors on the system must be tested annually by conducting the Installer Walk test. Please refer to the smoke detector installation instructions on how to conduct Walk tests. NOTE: Programming at the installation site may be subordinate to other UL requirements for the intended application. Combined Entry Delay and Delay Alarm Transmission should not exceed one minute. Cross zones have the ability to individually protect the intended area (i.e. motion detectors which overlap). Cross-zoning is not recommended for line security installation nor is it to be implemented on exit/entry zones. There is a communicator delay of 30 seconds in this control panel. It can be removed, or it can be increased up to 45 seconds at the option of the end user by consulting with the installer. Do not duplicate any reporting codes. This applies for all communication formations other than SIA and Contact ID sending automatic programmed report codes. The control unit must be installed with a local sounding device and an off-premise transmission for SIA communication format. EVO-EW12

The Paradox Fire and Burglary system must contain the following: EVO192 v3.0 or higher A battery included inside a 28 x 28 x 7.6 cm (11x11x3 in.) metal box UTL/ETL listed siren that is compatible with the EVO192 bell output K641 keypad v2.41 or higher / TM50 v1.30 or higher A minimum of two keypads must be installed CP-01 Programming In order to comply with CP-01: 1. Enter section [4049], you will hear a beep. 2. Enter section [4038] in order to reset the panel to CP-01 default. NOTE: Once this section has been unlocked, the system will reset and apply the CP-01 defaults; this may take a few seconds. Page 2

EVO What s New Page 3 Delay Alarm Transmission All zones must be Enabled by default for Delay Alarm Transmission. In accordance with UL/ETL standards, the Delay Alarm transmission standard intends that the aggregate of the Entry Delay and Delay Alarm Transmission will not be programmed to exceed one minute. This is non-effective on fire zones. The Force Zone option is Disabled by default. To set Delay Alarm Transmission to Enabled for all Zones: 1. Enter section [0400]. 2. Select the zone you wish to program. 3. Enter the zone definition and partition assignment. 4. Auto zone shutdown (000 to 015 alarms; default: disabled) Partition Bell Squawk Options The control panel can activate the bell output briefly causing the bell or siren to squawk to alert users that a partition is being armed, disarmed or that an Entry or Exit Delay was triggered. In accordance to CP- 01 directives, ensure that option [1] and [2] are enabled. Connect the 4-wire smoke detectors and a relay as shown in Figure 1. To comply with UL955, install the 4-wire smoke detectors with 18 gauge wire. If power is interrupted, the relay causes the control panel to transmit the Fire Loop Trouble report programmed in section [2906]. To reset (unlatch), connect the smoke detector s negative (-) to a PGM.
