M11 Junction 11 Great Shelford Memorial Hall ` Directions: From junction 11 of the M11 motorway head in the direction of Cambridge and turn right at the first set of traffic lights. Continue until the traffic lights at the cross roads with the A1301 and turn right again. Follow this road for approximately one and a quarter miles and you will cross over the railway line on a bridge. Continue for another half mile until you reach a crossroads with traffic lights. Turn right into Woollards Lane and the Great Shelford Memorial Hall is on the left hand side. Parking is available in the adjacent car park or on the road outside.
ENTRY RULES 1. Entries will only be accepted from members of the British Cactus and Succulent Society. Entry will be free. There will be no prize monies. 2. Exhibitors will be allowed a maximum of two entries in each class. 3. Entries must reach the Show Secretary Mr P. Hoxey not later than Thursday 14 th June 2018 4. Plant classification and judging will be in accordance with the Handbook of Shows 10th. Edition 2014 5. All entries to be staged between 8.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. on the day of the show. To allow the show stewards time to check the benches, staging of plants will not be allowed after 10.30 a.m. 6. Judging will commence promptly at 10.45 a.m. 7. The judges may, at their discretion, withhold an award in any class where they consider that the standard of the exhibits is too low. 8. Any objections must be submitted in writing to the Show Secretary within one hour of the end of judging on the day of the show. The judges reviewed decision is final. 9. Class points will be awarded as follows: First place; 5 points - Second place; 3 points - Third place; 2 points - Highly Commended (H.C.); 1 point. 10. All exhibits will be staged at the owner s risk. The Cambridge Branch or its Show Committee cannot accept any responsibility for the safety of the exhibits or any personal property. All reasonable precautions will be taken against theft or damage. 11. All cups and trophies remain the property of Cambridge Branch at all times. 12. Entry in the show constitutes acceptance of these conditions.
