Fire protection with Synova TM network. It s huge! The FC700A network system has been designed to provide the ultimate in scale and flexibility. Each panel can handle up to 1000 devices, and with the possibility of connecting 16 panels, terminals or gateways together on a peer to peer network, up to 16000 devices can be controlled in one seamless system. Logical structure. The FC700A allows a system to be built and extended progressively. Each FC700A control panel comes pre-configured as a 4 loop system, but with a further 7 expansion slots, the system can quickly grow to 16 analogue addressable loops, 24 conventional detector lines, 112 control input/outputs or 42 monitored sounder/control outputs. To each of these panels a LON interface card may be added bringing further control and indication. Up to 32 LON devices may be added: 32 floor repeaters, or mimic diagrams or even 384 individually programmed outputs. To extend, further 16 panels can be connected together on a network, or alternatively additional fully functional control terminals. Finally, gateways may be added to allow connection to building management systems. In short, the FC700A can be used in the biggest and most complex of applications, bringing all the advantages of Synova TM to the largest of projects. A guiding principal of Synova TM detectors is that everything should be quick and easy to install. Mount the uniform base and plug the unshielded cable into the screw less terminals. The detector is then simply clicked into place. To ensure isolators are never forgotten and are installed correctly, every Synova TM device has it's own integral isolator. System programming is performed using a simple Microsoft Windows based software tool that allows the installer to adapt and grow the system in clear, easily identifiable steps. Tailor-made support. Specific message category controls and menu driven operating functions allow lower priority operations to be performed with accuracy and confidence. Information is only useful if it is available, and the FT700A terminal brings fully functional operation to remote locations, while the LON bus enables additional information points to be provided throughout the site. The displays provided at remote locations can be tailored so that only events relevant to that particular area are visible. An event memory records all occurrences along with the time and date, while printers can be added as further information sources. Clear control. In emergency situations clarity is essential to overcome panic. Incorporating a large backlit 240 x 128 pixel LCD, the FC700A is a model of clarity and simplicity. All detectors use the same base, whether conventional or addressable, and can be snapped into place in the holders in seconds. In this way, all modules can be easily interchanged.
