What is a SupaExpance Taut Ceiling? The SupaExpance taut ceiling system consists of several parts that work together in unison to produce the perfect result. The entire system is produced to conform to the European Standard EN 14716:2004, the only international standard specifically designed for this type of ceiling system by the countries where the technology originated. Installer: Selected, trained and certified by SUPAWOOD to ensure the end result meets and exceeds your expectations. SupaExpance Taut Ceiling Track System The Ceiling: Tailor-made in an ISO9001:2000 certified factory using high frequency welding to ensure that it lasts. On the perimeter is prefixed the patented harpoon or anchor which is especially designed to allow easy de-click for future access to services. The sheets have been tested to conform to the highest fire safety standards. Accessories The Perimeter Frames: These tracks are a nonvisible design which works with the protector strip and covering strip. Protector strip: This nifty piece of technology constitutes a significant advantage over others in the market by greatly facilitating the installation of angled corners and reduces risk of sheet tearing in the corners at time of installation or removal. Cover Strip: Available in White and Black this finishes off the ceiling with a snug seal to the surrounding surfaces. How It Works A project with SupaExpance is simple, clean and quick. The technology for SupaExpance taut ceilings is extensively used throughout Europe where it has earned its spurs in the construction industry and for good reason as the system's merits now have an excellent reputation. Advanced and adaptable to many applications from a simple white renovated ceiling to 3D creations full of light, SupaExpance assembly is extremely simple. On-site execution is astonishingly fast and even more so when conditions are clean and dry. The Installation process 1 The SupaExpance Installer All SupaExpance installers are trained and certified at Supawood's purpose built training facility in Bathurst NSW. 2 Taking measurements Carried out in the traditional manner, but with tool kits specially designed for SupaExpance, including laser measuring tools. The measurements which may involve an unlimited number of angles and corners are prepared ready for transmission to the production site in the required format. 3 Fitting Tracks On site, the peripheral structure is set in place by mechanical means on the wall or ceiling: using a simple laser level, the operation is extremely simple. SupaExpance utilises a limited number of track options which are highly adaptable to multiple conditions therefore ordering, stocking, and installation are simplified. 4 Fitting accessories Finally, the details are seen to: Posts, columns, integrated down lights, chandeliers, LED systems, ventilation and sprinklers. Custom accessories simplify installation and guarantee perfect performance. 5 Installation of the SupaExpance Ceiling Prior to installation, the thermo-expandable SupaExpance is made supple by slightly raising the temperature of the surroundings for the time needed to lock the anchor into the track. The Ceiling is automatically tensioned as it cools, thanks to its thermo-retractable design. The ceiling remains firm with no problems. The site work is completed, with no noise, damage, or rubbish! 6 Removal for renovation and other work Both installation and removal of the Stretch Ceiling are straightforward: No demolition or finishing when you need a new automation system, safety installation or IT networks for example. - 5 -

SupaExpance Climaclick Heating, ventilation or air conditioning... SupaExpance Climaclick means thermodynamic comfort Climaclick revolutionises heating, ventilation and cooling by gentle and even diffusion of air, whether hot or cold. It never causes air draughts. This diffusion process leads to greater comfort with lower energy consumption. 1 Hot or cold air enters between the pre-existing ceiling and the SupaExpance taut ceiling, forming a cushion of air with an even temperature, which is then radiated over the whole area of the room. Instead of being concentrated in an aggressive blast, often noisy as well as not aesthetically pleasing, the airflow is diffused gently via a long thin peripheral opening, which is barely noticeable. The air circulates from top to bottom at a very low speed along the walls. As it circulates, it warms or cools the walls, which then radiate heat or cold in return. The incoming air mixes progressively with the existing air, throughout the whole volume of the space, without creating draughts. In the occupation area, the mix is almost perfect: in cooling mode, the difference in temperature between the head and the feet (1.70 meters) is lower than 1 C, and never goes beyond 1.5 C. The sensation of coolness or heat is present at every point, with no exaggeration: there is no point in adjusting the thermostat for an effect in a particular area. Climaclick offers the best combination of radiation, convection and air flow. Climaclick is particularly effective in "free cooling" mode, with no external energy use. It functions whatever its shape, plain or three dimensional. Climaclick frees up space by rendering radiators, thermostats and ducting redundant. The system of radiation has very low inertia. Any change in the t e m p e r a t u r e s e l e c t e d i s perceived almost immediately by the occupants. Climaclick works alone or in combination with all types of energy and all systems: with a heat pump and all direct systems, with hot and iced water, hot or cold air, oil burning stoves, gas, wood, geothermal systems. The perfect temperature... an idea to come back to! The sensation of heat depends partly on the temperature of the air and partly on radiation from the walls, the winter sun is a good example. Inside an air temperature of 23 C with cold walls would be felt as uncomfortable.
