I. SAFETY Read all instructions carefully before setting up and operating the cooler. Please keep this instruction manual for future reference. This manual is designed to provide you with important information needed to setup, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot your cooler. Failure to follow these instructions may damage and/or impair its operation and void the warranty. NOTE: Air Cooler can be used right out of the box, with no assembly. When using the Air Wave Cooler, basic safety precautions should always be followed: This appliance is designed for indoor used only. 1. Your cooler runs on 120 Volt AC, 60 Hz current. Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the appliance s rate specification. 2. Before operating the product remove it from its packaging and check that it is in good condition. 3. DO NOT operate any product with a damaged cord or plug. 4. DO NOT run power cord under carpeting, or cover it with rugs or runners. Keep the cord away from areas where it may be tripped over. 5. Always unplug the product before refilling the water tank. 6. Always unplug the appliance from the power source before cleaning, servicing or relocating the unit. 7. Remove the power cord from the electrical receptacle by grasping and pulling on the power cord plug-end only, never pull the cord. 8. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions of the cooler, as this may void the warranty. 9. DO NOT cover the air inlet or outlet on the appliance as this may cause motor damage. 3

10. DO NOT insert or allow objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may damage the product and could cause an electrical shock or fire. 11. DO NOT operate with the Honeycomb media removed as this will overload and damage the motor. 12. DO NOT leave the operating appliance unattended for any extended period of time. 13. DO NOT let children play with this appliance, packaging or plastic bags. 14. If the unit is damaged or if it malfunctions do not continue its use. Refer to the Troubleshooting Guide or contact us at 877.891-7333. Place the unit on a level floor. 15. Never locate the product where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. Store in a dry area when not in use. 16. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children or elderly) 17. with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety 18. Always grip the back handle to move the cooler. 19. Don t use any extension cord, especially indoor extension cords outside. If do need, only suggest to look for extension cords specifically marked for outdoor use. Look for extension cords that have a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) built in. 20. Make sure the amperage rating for the extension cord is higher than the amperage rating for the appliance. Check labels and owner s manuals on the appliance and the extension cord for amperage ratings. 4

21. Power cords have to be contained. If they must run along the ground, make sure every inch of them is secured so they will not be tripped over. 22. The wiring and connections must be waterproof. Be sure the connections (to the air cooler) never get wet. Your unit is waterproof, but everything attached to it must be waterproof, too. 23. Set up your unit so it cannot be tripped over or wobble loose. It must rest on a solid support. 24. WARNING: Unplug or disconnect the appliance from the power supply before user servicing or cleaning operation. 25. If the product fails in any way, please notify the service center at 26. 877.891-7333. Do not be disassemble or replace parts. 27. Disassembly or modification without permission will affect the safety of the product and automatically void the warranty 28. The water level of the tank shouldn t exceed the maximum level, and shouldn t be lower than the minimum level when the cooling/humidification function is turned on. 29. It is recommended to change the water in the water tank every 24 hours. 30. It is also recommended to empty the tank and wipe it thoroughly with sanitizing wipes on a regular basis. 31. After water is filled, do not tilt or attempt to move the air cooler in order to prevent water splashing. 32. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. 5

To Reduce the Risk of Fire or Electric Shock, Do Not Use This Fan with Any Solid-State Speed Control Device. 33. FCC Warning: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user s authority to operate the equipment. 34. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. 35. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: 36. Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. 37. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. 38. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. 39. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/tv technician for help. 6

NOTE: Every 200 hours, the Clean Filter indicator will blink to notify the user to clean the air filter. Once you have cleaned the filter, press the Cooler/Air Washer button for 3 sec to reset the Clean Filter warning 7

GENERAL USE 1. When unit is initially plugged in, there will be two beeps after which the cooler enters a stand-by mode. However, the cooler will not be powered on, so none of the buttons on the control panel will function except for the ON/ Speed button. 2. Press the On / Speed button to power the unit on. 3. The cooler will at first function at medium speed, but will change to low speed automatically after 3 seconds. In the black Display Window the corresponding icon will turn on. While the unit is running, you can press the On / Speed button to change the fan speed. There are four fan speed settings: low, mid, high, and turbo. LOW MEDIUM HIGH TURBO 4. Press the Cooler / Air Washer button to turn the water cooling function on or off. This will turn the water pump on to run water over the air washing media. NOTE: This is the evaporative cooling feature. This function also acts as a humidifier. 5. This button is compound key. a) When the unit is working, tap the button to control the wind horizontal direction with the LED light is on and tap the button again to turn off the function. 9

b) Before the unit is power on, press the button more than 3 seconds to enter the WIFI setting mode, WIFI indicator is becoming to flash faster from slow and it will be light on for the whole time if the connection with APP is successful or it will turn back to flash slowly if the connection fails. 6. Timer button Press this button to set the timer in half hour increments up to 7.5 hours. The timer display will change accordingly. 7. The Mode button allows you to choose pre-programmed fan cycles: Normal = everyday use Natural = an outdoor breeze Sleep = relaxing environment; NOTE: The Mode functionality is disabled when the fan speed is set at turbo. (Relevant Control Panel and Display Window Graphics) 10

IV. INSTRUCTIONS FOR WIFI CONNECTING APP Installation is needed for the first WIFI connection with terminal equipment, steps are as follows: 1. Please download and install the APP Keystone Comfort Zone in application platform (app store or Google); 2. The phone must be connected to a router, then connect the APP with the phone as the follow steps: After the unit is power on and without any operation, press the WIFI/SWING button for above 3s to let the Slow flash turn into fast flash, then open the APP to connect the WIFI, as below pictures show that: After the successfully connection to air cooler with WiFi, click the Add the equipment icon. 11

If the connection to APP with Wifi is successful, the color of the equipment s name will turn into the background color and the will appear. Then you can enter the operator interface, by clicking. If the connection to APP with Wifi is failed, the will appear. Connection status: Press the equipment s name, then you can edit or delete it. Disconnection status: Press the equipment s name, just can delete or cancel it. 12

After entering the editing status, you can rename it or set the After inputting the sharing password, you can control the air cooler with different phones. After the connection among the air cooler, cell phone and Wifi, it is allowed to use another cell phone to control the air cooler. The steps as below: Install the App firstly and enter this operation page to input the sharing password. 13

Language setting: You can choose the language you want by pulling down the button. Setting page: You can set the Vibration, Swing, Voice, Language, Color. Return icon. 14

Home page as the below shows Model Name. Timer icon which can be set from 0.5 to7.5 h. Humidify icon which will appear when the humidify function is on or it will disappear when the humidify function is off. Speed icon which will be changed based on the actual speed. There are strong, high, medium, low speeds. Speed icon which will be changed based on the actual speed. It is medium speed now. WIFI icon: It will appear when the WIFI is Mode icon which will be changed based on the mode setting. The icon is normal icon. Swing icon: It will appear when the swing function is on. Model setting: You can set normal, natural, sleep setting. Swing icon: You can use this button to choose swing function or not. On/Off icon. Home page Setting icon. Version icon. 15

As the picture shows, you should click the mode button when you choose the modes. Then the above three mode icons will be shown. You can choose the modes as you want. The relevant mode icon will display the mode you chosen. As the picture shows, you should click the speed button when you choose the modes. Then the above three mode icons will be shown. The relevant speed icon will display the mode you After connecting the Internet, the logo as picture showed will appear when the phone is disconnecting the network, since the phone is without WIFI. Then you can continue to use 4G or other Internet to control. If the icon is grey, then you should wait for a moment or go to somewhere with a good signal. As the picture shows, you should slide the timing slider from left to right when you want to set the timer from 0.5-7.5h. 16

WATER FILLING INSTRUCTIONS Fig.A Water level indicator Fig.B For continuous water flow connect a hose NOTE: It is normal for the air cooler to have a slight odor or for the water stored in the water tank to have a slight discoloration during first use. In order to enjoy maximum cooling you will need to ensure there is water in the water tank. This product features a low water protection. If the water level is low, the unit will beep continuously for five seconds and turn off the water cooling function. When filling the water tank, please note the level indicator in the front of the air cooler (Fig. A) 1. Do not fill the water beyond the maximum water level (Fig. A) 17

2. For having best results, it has been recommended to use filtered or distilled water. In order to provide a continuous flow of water to the water tank you can connect a water line to the nozzle on the back of the cooler (Fig. B). The cooler will regulate water flow from the hose. We recommended a separate shut off valve on the water line. Using the remote control: 1. Open the battery cover of the remote control, and insert two 1.5V AAA batteries. 2. Please point to the receiver when using the remote control. 3. If the battery voltage is low, please open the battery cover as shown in the figure and replace with new batteries. Please note the positive pole and the negative pole of the battery. Then, put on the battery cover. VI. One-Year Limited Warranty For a period of one year from the original purchase date, the manufacturer will either repair or replace defective components in accordance with this Limited Warranty. This warranty is between manufacturer and the original purchaser and is valid only when accompanied by the original purchaser s sales receipt showing original date of purchase and location of purchase. Replacements under this warranty revert back to the date of original purchase for future warranty. NORMAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONSUMER This warranty applies only to products in ordinary household use. The consumer is responsible for the following: 1. Proper use of the appliance in accordance with the instructions provided with the product 2. Proper installation by an authorized service professional in accordance with instructions provided with the appliance and in accordance with all local plumbing, electrical and/or gas codes. 3. Proper connection to a grounded power supply of sufficient voltage, replacement of blown fuses, repair of loose connections or defects in house wiring. This warranty does not cover the following: 1. Failure caused by damage to the unit while in your possession (other than damage caused by defect or malfunction), by improper installation, or by unreasonable use of the unit, including but not limited to failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance or to follow the written installation and operating instructions. 2. Damages caused by services performed by persons other than authorized servicers, use of parts other than approved replacement parts, or external causes such as abuse, misuse, or inadequate power supply. 3. If the unit is put to commercial, business, rental or other use other than for consumer use. 4. Products without original serial numbers or products that have serial numbers which have been altered or cannot be readily determined. Note: Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. So this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
