RADIANT CEILING SYSTEM WIDESPREAD WELL-BEING The ceiling heating system distributes heat in all the rooms of a house through a principle of exchange by radiation between hot surfaces and cold surfaces. What is this? Irradiation is the phenomenon that frequently occurs in nature when a surface absorbs the heat contained in or generated by a surface with a relatively higher surface temperature. Similarly, the walls of a room which the ceiling heating system is located in represent the cold surface and accumulate the heat generated by the suspended ceiling, distributing it in turn into the surroundings and heating it. 4
WHY CHOOSE A RADIANT CEILING SYSTEM? 1 It does not require masonry works A ceiling heating system is a cheap solution, because the installation of radiant panels does not require demolitions or other masonry works. 2 Homogeneous heat The ceiling heating system provides homogeneous heating and allows balanced exchange between the environment and the radiant system. This prevents from thermal shock. 3 4 5 6 Practical installation and flexible usage Radiant panels are pre-built and assembled, and are perfect for producing both heat during cold periods and cool in warmer time. Reduced dimensions Radiant ceiling panels are an invisible heating system and occupy minor space. They are less than 50 mm thick and their installation does not imply restrictions the space in which they are located. Wide architectural compatibility The ceiling heating system is highly modular and integrates perfectly with the architecture, so that panels can fit any type of ceiling. Reduced humidity, mould, and off-odours Heat is spread by thermal exchange, thus reducing humidity, mould, and off-odours. This is extremely favourable in the northern areas of the house, where unwanted microorganisms are likely to thrive. 22 C 24 C 22 C 40 C 20 C 16 C 18 C Radiator heating system Ceiling heating system 5
