It is therefore vital that hot water safety is considered at the design stage of any commercial project. Thermostatic Blending Valves The Sirrus range of T48 blending valves are designed to be fitted under bath or bidet to deliver safe temperature controlled water to protect the user from scalding. Suitable for all plumbing systems, there are two models available to fit 15mm and 22mm pipe work and both shut off in the event of either hot or cold water failure to comply with BSEN 1111 and BSEN 1287.
