Firetex 240 2-4 hour fire shutter 4 The Firetex 240 fire shutter has been designed and tested to provide up to 4 hours fire resistance. Specifically designed for internal low cycle use, the Firetex 240 is intended to be left in the open position for automatic activation in the event of a fire alarm signal or power failure. It can be closed for security purposes by means of push button. The power operated single skinned steel shutter consists of concave, solid profiles and features an integral smoke check and curtain suspension system incorporating manual controlled descent closing. corresponding rail fitted to the shutter locates when fully closed creating a seal to reduce smoke leakage. A comparative smoke leakage demonstration between a smoke check shutter and a conventional shutter, clearly demonstrates in both fan-on and fan-off situations that there is a significant reduction in the volume of leakage. Operation is via a 3 phase - 415 volt controlled descent motor. Firetex 240 is tested to meet BS476 part 22. Door section materials are class A2 (non-flammable) Options * Polyester powder coating to main visible parts (BS4800/RAL colour range) Galvanised steel hood (head casing to roller barrel assembly not required for fire performance) Galvanised motor cover *finish may deteriorate with frequent usage due to the inherent rolling action of this type of door Curtain support/smoke check system Shutter fitted with a smoke check system The patented smoke check system holds the shutter under gravity tension against a support rail fixed to the lintel; the Shutter without a smoke check system Patented curtain support rail
Firetex 60 1 hour fire shutter 5 The Firetex 60 has been designed for internal smaller apertures providing up to 1 hour fire resistance. The steel construction still maintains the benefits of security, automatic operation and fire resistance, but is ideal where space and appearance are important factors. Constructed from lighter gauge materials, the Firetex 60 features a compact three sided chamfered head box as standard. for security purposes by means of push button. Operation is via a single phase - 230 volt controlled descent motor or tubular motor. Firetex 60 has been tested and assessed for fire resistance in accordance with BS476 part 22 1987 and the door section element materials are Class A2 (nonflammable). Options * Polyester powder coating to main visible parts (BS4800/RAL colour range) Galvanised motor cover (CDO) Key operated locks mounted in to the curtain Steel threshold cill section *finish may deteriorate with frequent usage due to the inherent rolling action of this type of door Specifically designed for internal low cycle use, the Firetex 60 is intended to be left in the open position for automatic activation in the event of a fire alarm signal or power failure. It can be closed
