Save these instructions When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following: Read all instructions before using this appliance. Do not operate under blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. 16. Never drop or insert any object into any opening. 17. Do not use outdoors. 18. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug from outlet. 19. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way. 4

Operation 1. Insert plug on the POWER CORD into an electrical outlet. 2. To begin massage, twist the CONTROL KNOB on the HANDLE of the massager clockwise to start vibration. 3. Rotate the VIBRATION CONTROL WHEEL clockwise for a more intense massage, and counterclockwise for a less intense massage. 4. Twist the CONTROL KNOB counterclockwise all the way until it clicks to turn the massager off. 5. Unplug the massager when not in use. Changing Massaging nodes 1. To attach a MASSAGING NODE, line up the MASSAGING NODE with the key on the MASSAGE NODE CONNECTOR and push, then twist the MASSAGING NODE until it clicks to secure. 2. To remove a MASSAGING NODE, twist the MASSAGING NODE until it clicks to release and pull the MASSAGING NODE off the Massage Node connector. 3. Keep the nodes you are not using in the STORAGE BAG. 6

Using your Massager 1. Use the massager after a workout to soothe and relax your tired, stressed muscles, and helping to increase the blood flow to the muscle for faster recovery. 2. Place the node against the targeted area, pressing and moving the MASSAGING NODES in a circular motion directly on targeted area. 3. Change the NODES for different types of massage: Pin-point Node for targeting tight muscles in shoulders and upper back (see top right) Large Sphere Node for working larger areas/muscles in the lower back (see middle right) 4-Sphere Node for a broader area of massage like thighs or calves (see bottom right) 4. Use the long handle to easily reach your shoulders or lower back. 7

PRODUCT CARE AND MAINTENANCE 1. Place the massager in its STORAGE BAG and in a safe, cool and dry place when not in use. 2. After unplugging, wipe the main unit with a soft, dry cloth. 3. Wipe the nodes with a soft, damp cloth. DO NOT use any harsh solvents, alcohol or bleach based cleansers. 4. Never submerge the main unit OR nodes in any liquid. do NOT attempt to repair this massager. There are no user-serviceable parts. Specifications Power....................................... One (1) Year Limited Warranty Brookstone warrants this product against defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of purchase by the original purchaser ( Warranty Period ). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Brookstone will either 1) repair the defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or 2) replace the product with a new product that is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or 3) provide a store credit in the amount of the purchase price of the original product. A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part installed in accordance with instructions provided by Brookstone, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Brookstone s property. When a store credit is given, the original product must be returned to Brookstone and becomes Brookstone s property. Obtaining Service: To obtain warranty service, call Brookstone Limited Warranty Service at 1-800-292-9819. Please be prepared to describe the product that needs service and the nature of the problem. A purchase receipt is required. All repairs and replacements must be authorized in advance. Service options, parts availability and response times will vary. You are responsible for delivery and the cost of delivery of the product or any parts to the authorized service center for replacement, per our instructions. Limits and Exclusions: Coverage under this Limited Warranty is limited to the United States of America, including the District of Columbia and the U.S. Territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured for Brookstone that can be identified by the Brookstone trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them or their packaging. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-brookstone products. Manufacturers or 9

suppliers other than Brookstone may provide their own warranties to the purchaser, but Brookstone, in so far as permitted by law, provides these products as is.
