To begin with, the materials of construction, AISI316L stainless steel or FDA approved sterilizable plastic, are sterilizable and therefore compliant with applicable regulations. Consisting of 3 modules and capable of various layout options, the Steril 400 can be installed under an isolator. The clear separation of the two machine zones (operating zone from mechanical area in a through the wall installation) allows access to the mechanical part only from the rear and so prevents any contamination of the operating zone, protected by a recycled laminar flow. Special care has been taken in the design to prevent obstacles to the linearity of the sterile air flow. Thanks to a unique, positive vial conveyor system, there is no bottle rubbing and no particles are formed. Filling is carried out using piston type rotary pumps, eight in the standard version, or up to ten on request. Each pump consists of two parts and can be completely disassembled, guaranteeing perfect sterilization in an autoclave. The fill nozzles are also easily removed for autoclaving. Each filling valve piston is driven by a brushless motor, for independent and precise adjustment of the dosing volume. The stoppering turret, the stopper track and the vibrating bowl and base have automatic height adjustments as well. The machine may also be set up for installation of a an optional, sample weighing system with a robotized vial pick and place device and feedback for automatic fill volume adjustment. The machine can fill and stopper 400 vials/minute, with filling volumes of up to 30 ml and vial diameter of up to 36 mm. ML646/2: small and flexible for pharmaceutical liquid filling The ML646 model, capable of speeds of up to 75 mechanical pieces/minute, is intended for medium level production and, in the range of intermittent motion filling machines, is small, flexible, reliable and easy to control for pharmaceutical liquid filling. Recently, there has been great interest in this model with peristaltic pumps dosing and system of nozzles with tracking movement which, following the rotation of the starwheel, allows more time for dosing. making it extremely accurate. The same machine model can also be equipped with an optional capping unit with PLC-controlled torque control. NTL60R: sterilizing tunnel made by Neri. NLT series sterilizing and depyrogenation tunnels are laminar units. The process uses uniform flow of hot air, continuously filtered and recycled, which blankets the products at a temperature that can be set between 250 and 350 ºC. The velocity of the hot air laminar flows rises and falls automatically depending on the temperature and changes in the density of the air. This optimizes machine output and efficiency, guaranteeing the integrity of the filter elements.

PAGE 2 OF 2 Each hot filter has its own inverter-controlled fan and its own heating battery, so that the temperature can be regulated to be perfectly even over the entire width of the conveyor belt. Changing the filters can be accomplished in just a few minutes as the machine has been designed to allow for easy access, from both sides. Size changeovers are simplified as the operating parameters for all of your vial sizes may be stored in the machine s memory and recalled as needed via the HMI. The operator terminal is used to monitor all machine functions. Robotised solutions: Robovision: for picking up loose objects An innovative and flexible solution that will revolutionize conventional feed units in packaging lines. The Robovision, a 4-axis robot with carbon limbs and an integrated viewing system, is at the cutting edge of the robotised solutions developed by Marchesini Group. Designed to pick up loose items from a belt and feed them with continuous motion to the cartoner, the Robovision can perform up to 100 pick ups per minute. Thanks to its camera and software, this innovative machine recognizes the image of the product to be fed and can angle the product for correct insertion in the cartoner s buckets. Equipped with tracking movement, thanks to its bridge structure, it can be used with both parallel and transversal belts. This brand new product features an extremely flexible layout and great precision. The software, like the whole design, was developed entirely by Marchesini. What s more, if the device deliberately or accidentally does not pick up the product, it can be rejected at the end of the belt before reaching the carton conveyor. These excellent features and extreme adaptability make Robovision suitable for many applications, in both the pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors. This new product will be presented to the public for the first time with the MA155 continuous motion horizontal automatic cartoner, which for intermediate speeds is Marchesini Group s best-selling machine. Packaging solid products: MB430: a flexible, innovative blister packer The MB430 blister thermoformer was designed to meet every requirement in the production of blister trays with an effective and innovative solution. Thanks to its modular structure, it can fit almost anywhere. Each machine unit has its own servomotor, making each function independent and independently adjustable, according to the different production requirements. Usually, for every change of product, speed or material type, the parameters of conventional thermoformers have to be changed and retiming may be needed. However with the introduction of brushless motors, the operator can independently preset every function; Self-centering, electronically adjustable forming step. Self-aligning pre-heating plates. Automatic code and cutter centering. The innovative film path is smoother, with less stress on the material thanks to the presence of a magnetic tensioner and automatic loop control. These are just a few of the important features to be emphasized, along with the fact that empty and partially filled blister rejection is differentiated. The eleven brushless motors, PC machine control, with integrated product presence check and Robocombi help to make this machine one of the most modern robotic creations in the pharmaceutical packaging sector. Another strongpoint of the new blister thermoformer is the possibility of removing the feeder for faster cleaning and size change-overs.

PAGE 3 OF 3 MST200 MINI: strip machine from Packservice Fast, compact, ergonomic and surprisingly cost effective. These are the basic features of the MST200 MINI, the Marchesini Group solution to the growing demand for standalone STRIP machines, for packaging medium-sized solid products. More compact and economical than the MST200, the MINI version has a completely vertical web path, but it retains the same distinctive features as the rest of the MST range: a very limited machine height, allowing perfect checking of product transit for the entire feed process. The feed, sealing, scoring, product presence check, longitudinal cutting, transversal feed and cutting stations are placed one after another, on independent modules. This makes size change-overs extremely simple, without using tools and with no need for specific mechanical adjustments. The maximum speed is approx. 200 tablets/minute for each channel and the number of lanes may vary from 4 to 10. MS235: a new dosing unit for sachets Having always made machines for packaging powders in sachets, Marchesini Group has decided to overhaul its traditional heat-sealed sachet form/fill/seal machine by fitting an innovative dosing unit. To guarantee a perfect dose in every sachet, each dosing screw feeder has been fitted with a motor-driven secondary pre-screw feeder device which feeds the product perfectly constantly in each dosing channel. The independent brushless motor which drives the secondary screw feeder unit guarantees impeccable operation. Another significant advantage is the fact that this new system dispenses with mixers around the dosing unit. The MS235 s great flexibility is also guaranteed by other important features: when changing the sachet length, simply alter a parameter on the display and the machine, by means of its many brushless motors, automatically retimes the horizontal cutter blade for the new length, making the size change-over extremely fast. The machine is also made easy to manage by the possibility of automatically removing the dosing device at the end of production, for the size change-over: a simple motorpowered control allows outward rotation. Parts in contact with the product can be removed without tools. ML55T: capping machine for applying pressure caps The ML55 is an automatic capping machine suitable for closing both glass and plastic bottles. Made in three versions, the one at the exhibition will be the ML55T for applying pressure caps. The main features are its compact design, which allows the machine to be put in any space, even very small, and its great versatility and easy control. The machine table is made of stainless steel with rounded corners. The bottle sliding surface is 200 mm from the machine table, allowing easy cleaning. The 8-gap carrousel conveys the bottles and has a mechanical safety clutch. The machine capacity if 65 pieces/minute. In the ML55T version, pressure capping is performed by the pneumatic cylinder (an optional proportional valve is available for changing the pressure from the PLC). FTC12: electronic counting machine from Vasquali The FTC - Photocell Tablet Counter is a reliable high-tech machine, able to count tablets, coated tablets and hard and soft capsules. It can count up to 360,000 tablets/hour. The FTC s electronics are controlled in a simple, intuitive fashion using a touch-screen interface. With this, the operator is able to change every machine parameter. The self-learning system acquires the correct specific values for each type of product used. The industrial PC s memory allows the entry of a virtually infinite number of recipes, which can be retrieved by simply typing in the corresponding code. No size change-overs are required for new products. All parts in contact with the product are easily cleaned and removed without tools in less than three minutes. The conveyor belt is open and so can be inspected, and the machine has a dust extraction system. The

PAGE 4 OF 4 counting head height and hopper opening are electronically regulated by special servosystems. The presence of the industrial PC guarantees compliance with GMP standards and 21CFR11 requirements. MTP12: vertical stickpack machine In the stickpack sector Marchesini Group presents the multi-lane vertical MTP12 for the production of stickpacks containing products in the form of powders, granules or liquids intended for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and foods industries. Resulting from co-operation between Marchesini Group and Spanish company STE, the new generation MTP12 multi-lane vertical stickpack machine can be set up with 4-6-8-10 or 12 lanes, depending on the dimensions of the stickpacks to be produced. The volumetric spoon doser fitted can supply very different doses, from a minimum of 0.5 cc to a maximum of 60 cc, allowing a wide variety of sizes to be packed. The machine has an integrated 12-head Hot Foil printer system for the variable data codes. A robotised pick and place system picks up the stickpack, positively placing them directly on the conveyor belt connected to the cartoner. The truly innovative feature of the MTP12 is the brand new robotised stickpack feed system, which also counts the individual pieces (number previously set by the operator on the PC) and automatically inserts them in a carton. The unit patented by Marchesini, which is extremely reliable and simple, therefore allows customers to obtain packs that are always fully compliant with the most stringent quality standards. Packaging liquid products: FSP10-E: disposable syringe filling and closing machine from Corima The FSP10-E made by Corima is the first Italian machine able to fill and close, in a sterile environment, disposable sterile syringes in BD Hypack format or equivalent. The FSP10-E, also marketed in the FSP5-E version for lower production speeds, fills and closes up to 24,000 disposable syringes per hour. The machine was designed and built to satisfy current Good Manufacturing Practice (cgmp) requirements and for use in RABs (Restricted Access Barrier system) technology. The machine stands out thanks to various attributes such as the balcony structure and all of the design elements used to enhance the flow of laminar air for product protection such as the system of nest movement to the loading station which prevents any risk of contact with the lower ends of the syringes, the centering system for stopper insertion to avoid contact between the walls of the syringes and the stopper insertion systems. Optional systems available with the machine include inert gas injection both during filling and stoppering (patented system for perfect stopper isolation from contact with the air before its insertion) and steam cleaning (CIP) and sterilising (SIP) in place of the whole dosing system. In addition to this, brushless motors are used for all machine movements. These motors allow not just great accuracy and adaptability for all of the mechanisms, but also control of filling and closing processes for products with special chemical and physical properties. RSF6-L : Corima ampoule filling and closing machine The RSF6-L from Corima for filling and closing open ampoules has special construction features allowing easy connection in line with an upstream sterilising tunnel and with other machines downstream, excellent repeatability of filling and final sealing operations and simple, fast size change-over. The operating stations are positioned outside the machine structure, meaning that the machine stays clean: any glass fragments are not trapped where the ampoules pass and collect in the tray in the

PAGE 5 OF 5 lower part of the machine. In addition, the filling unit, located on the machine cabinet, is easily removed and sterilised. Ampoules are fed automatically, directly from boxes or racks with an open side directly onto the belt, where a support holds them in a stable position. From there they are transferred by a continuous motion feedscrew to a starwheel which operates at variable speeds and on to the conveyor comb. The electronic check of ampoule presence in the conveyor comb is on the neck: a solution which allows only undamaged ampoules to be filled. Machine technical details: Dosing: up to 25 ml. Ampoule diameter: min. 9 max. 22.5 mm. Mechanical speed: 18,000 p/h with 1 and 2 ml ampoules. THE NEW FARCON FB 320: the thermoformer that was missing A brand new mechanical drive deep draw thermoformer, with balcony structure, a classic example of the Farcon construction style, packed with technological innovation and practical experience gained by the group. Each station, including material feed, is driven independently by brushless motors synchronised with one another. Machine control is simple and immediate through a PC-controlled operator interface. Size parts are fitted on the front, allowing fast, tool-free size change-overs. The product packaging zone is separate from the machine s electrical and electronic part housings. Available in two versions: traditional cutter and fast cutter station (for producing packs without the cross waste that occurs in conventional blister machines). It consists of three basic modules: the first housing the stations for forming material unwinding/pre-heating/thermoforming/first material feed unit, the second dedicated to unwinding the lidding material/sealing/cooling/perforation and the last housing the second feed unit /Cutter/Waste recovery. The feed zone can be extended as required and is completely accessible from both sides. The forming area is very large: with a surface area of 254 x 220 mm and up to 42 mm deep. The cutting speed is up to 300 packs/minute. Packaging creams: MILLENNIUM 120: single-channel tube filling machine Second in line after the successful Millennium version, the MILLENIUM120 is the new single-channel tube filling machine with a speed of 120 pieces per minute. It retains all of its big sister s high-tech solutions: the entire dosing unit can be removed with a single action, making size change-over and cleaning really fast and easy. All of the heads needed to process plastic or aluminium tubes, including the hot air system, are already set up onboard the machine, drastically reducing change-over times. Labelling machines: BL600: linear ampoule and vial labeller from Neri The BL600 is a high speed linear labelling machine for applying self-adhesive labels on ampoules, vials or other round containers. It is a machine with a balcony structure, designed to perform all operations on the operator side, making the operators work extremely easy. Main features of the machine: positive step conveyor system guarantees fail-safe operation, balcony structure with ergonomic arrangement of all components, clear separation of working, mechanical and electrical zones, variable step roller conveyor able to handle a wide range of sizes with the possibility of an automatic size changeover which can be set from the operator terminal.

PAGE 6 OF 6 RL300: rotary ampoule and vial labeller from Neri The RL300 is a high speed rotary labeller with carrousel conveyor system, for applying a label on ampoules, cartridges or small unstable containers. The carrousel consists of variable-pitch vertical idle rollers, for handling a wide range of sizes. The roller carrousel guarantees positive step transfer and fail-safe operation.
