By utilizing a silicone heater which was adhered to the bottom of tank and insulation blankets to retain the heat, significant temperature gains were achieved. Even in 10 F temperatures the oil the heated tanks was 75 F and the issues were solved. The area is a Class 1, Div 2 environment so an Explosion Proof enclosure was used to house the temperature controller CHR Inc. performed the project Turn-key including design, thermal analysis, manufacture of the ready to use heating system and installation. 10 11
SILICONE Our line of silicone heating mats and jackets can be your heating solution. Depending on your application, these heaters can use Etched Foil, Kapton or evenly spaced resistance wires are laminated between sheets of silicone.
