4 Components for fireplaces or wood-burning stoves Wit exodraft cimney fan systems you always ave control over te cimney draugt regardless of te weater conditions or oter factors influencing te natural draugt. It is te function of te cimney bot to remove te smoke and supply oxygen for effective combustion. In an ideal situation tis is done toug te natural cimney draugt, but in reality bot te cimney itself and oter external factors affect te natural draugt and tus te effectiveness of te cimney. 1 4 3 An exodraft cimney fan gives you complete control over te cimney draugt. Te cimney fan is installed on top of te cimney and creates a negative pressure in te flue, tus ensuring tat te flue gases are extracted up te cimney rater tan into te room. Te fan control enables you to adjust te cimney draugt to suit your needs, so you can enjoy te full comfort of a warm fireplace or wood-burning stove. An exodraft cimney fan system for a fireplace or wood-burning stove consists of an RS or RSV cimney fan wit an axial vane, a fan control and accessories. Te EFC16, EFC18, EFC35 & EW41 controls allow te user to manually adjust te cimney draugt. Te EFC18 control comes wit a temperature sensor enabling automatic stop of te cimney fan after te fire is out. Te EFC18 also as a boost function for extra cimney draugt on start-up or wen re-stoking te fire, so smoke down draugts and odours do not escape into te room. Te EW41 wireless controller is easy to install as no power supply cables are needed for te control panel. In addition to aving similar functionality as te EFC18, te EW41 also signals wen it is time to re-stoke te fire and audibly indicates if te temperature inside te cimney becomes too ig. It is easy to see and cange te settings via te display on te control panel. EBC20 EXHAUSTO OK Reset Alarm Components for a solid fuel or biomass-burning boiler 5 A natural draugt cimney system is designed to work at average conditions for te region. So, wen a solid fuel or biomass boiler is used all year round, te variable climatic conditions will sometimes lead to insufficient cimney draugt. Te use of a cimney fan system will ensure te correct cimney draugt under any climatic conditions at all times. 1 Wen a biomass-burning appliance, for example a pellet stove, as cimney-draugt problems, tis can mean tat ligting te fire can be difficult and may cause soot and smoke to be expelled back into te room. Insufficient cimney draugt can also lead to poor combustion, and inefficient use of te fuel. Tese problems can be solved by installing an exodraft cimney fan system, because te system ensures te correct cimney draugt is available at all times. 2 3 4 An exodraft system for a solid fuel or biomass burning boiler consists of an RS or RSV cimney fan wit axial blades, a controller and accessories. Te EFC16, EFC18 or EFC35 controllers allow te user to manually adjust te cimney draugt as needed. Te EFC18 controller is supplied wit a temperature sensor and will stop te cimney fan 45 minutes after te fire as gone out. It also starts te fan automatically if te preset temperature in te cimney as been reaced by ligting te fire and te fan system as not been started manually. However, it is not recommended to ligt a fire unless te cimney fan is already in operation. Te EBC20 control regulates te fan speed automatically, maintaining constant pressure in te cimney and creating te optimal conditions to ensure correct combustion.
