SP-Seies Outdoo Micowave Rada Baie Use Manual SP-100/SP-200/SP-200PRO is a biostatic micowave detecto fo outdoo peimete potection. It consists of tansmitte a (TX) and eceive (RX), and its detection ange can each maximum 200m fo SP-200. It featues a self-adapting cicuity which can efficiently eliminate false alams, while keeping high secuity standads to human taget detection. By adopting micowave amplitude modulation technology, the micowave baies featue high sensitivity as a passive detection system and low false alam ates as an active detection system. The detection patten is a thee-dimensional dome, and not just a linea-shaped detecto like standad beam sensos. They ae vey suitable fo vaious complicated peimete applications (like long-ange peimete potection, ough gound envionment etc.). Moeove, they can easily be installed on any type of existing fences o poles to povide a eliable baie potection zone and detect all possible peimete intusions, while avoiding the intefeences of small animals,(such as bids, cats etc.) due to its ceative methods fo false alam elimination and human detection. Between the tansmitte and eceive, please make sue thee ae no plants at human-height, moving objects etc. The height of the gass o bushes cannot exceed 0.3m. 2. The snow depth cannot exceed 0.5m in winte. 6. Installation site should be at least 20 metes away fom 35KV high-voltage powe lines, 30 metes away fom 500KV high-voltage powe lines. And if the signal wiing is paallel with high-voltage lines, the wiing, buied in the gound and sheathed with metal pipe, is ecommended. 7. The micowave baie should be installed on a smooth suface, fence o wall, and please make sue that the oughness of the potection aea should not be highe than 0.3m, and the installation height should be within 0.6m to1.2m (the intusion, jumping ove potection aea, should be consideed in a pactical installation). What is moe, please keep the micowave baie 5 metes away fom vetical spinkles, and away fom signal-shield aeas (aeas coveed by metals, steel, einfoced concete etc.) Caution: 1. Within the potection aea, if thee is a lage obstuction but with intefeence fo the micowave tansmission, make sue the coss section diamete of the micowave is moe than 2 metes, othewise, it might cause attenuation (might each 50%, subject 35 43mm to envionment) and shoten the detection ange. 2. While installing, please DO NOT pess had on the font cove of micowave baie senso, to avoid affecting the detection pefomance. Mounting on the Top of Fence/wall: If the detecto is installed on the top of fence/wall to pevent intusion by climbing, the height fom mounting backet to fence s top cannot exceed 0.2m, the height fom detecto to gound cannot exceed 2m, in this case the max detection length cannot exceed 100m; And, please make sue thee is no fence/wall blocking the enegy tansmission between &. When the detection aea cannot cove the pactical installation aea, it is necessay to test and confim the suitable installation site fo the tansmitte. 5. Coss and Ovelap multiple micowave baies: In ode to avoid dead zones of the peimete, and to enlage the potected aea, it is ecommended to install multiple micowave baies by cossing o ovelapping, to make them wok togethe without cosstalk and impove system s eliability and safety, as shown in Fig. 6. 6. Ovelapping installation equies that, the coveage pattens shall be ovelapped at a suitable angle. The cente of ovelap shall be 1.5 ~ 2m to the eceive o tansmitte (depends on the sensitivity setting and installation height). The optimal ovelapping installation is to install tansmittes (TX) only o eceives (RX) only at one end. See Fig. 7 7. Fequency Setting: Fo option, the tansmitte and eceive must wok on the same fequency, SP-200PRO featues 4 fequencies (CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4) fo option, which can be set though a jumpe, vey easy to use. Tips: while installing single-fequency micowave baies (SP-100/SP-200) fo cossing o ovelapping at the same end, in ode to obtain the best pefomance, it is suggested to keep an angle of at least 30 degees, between two RX o TX. Wiing Instuctions: Refe to the chat below and confim the gauge of wie used fo one set of micowave baie (one TX & one RX), the max. wiing distance below is the distance between the fathest micowave baie to the powe supply. If multiple sets of micowave baies ae deployed in seies, please divide the distance below in subsection. Make sue that the antenna adiating sufaces of tansmitte and eceive ae paallel (adiating suface is pependicula to the vitual potected patten). Fig. 12 shows the coect installation when tansmitte and eceive ae installed at the same height, and Fig. 13 shows the coect installation when the tansmitte and eceive ae installed at diffeent heights. LED Status Indication (see Fig. 15): Red LED (ALARM): Alam status indicato, it will be OFF if no intusion taget tigges an alam in the potected zone and afte it is popely test and adjusted. It will be ON when detecto detects a moving intusion taget within the potected zone (this LED is also ON if the is not aligned popely with the ). Red LED (ALARM): Flashes, means that voltage is low; flashes and 4 Geen LEDs ae also ON at the same time, means that the captued detection signal is too week. Geen LEDs (LEVELs): AGC cicuit status indicato. The stonge the alam signal captued, the moe geen LEDs will go out. When 4 geen LEDs ae all ON, it indicates that the eceive woks at the maximum gain. Even if 4 geen LEDs ae all ON, the detecto will still wok nomally. In this case, the geen LEDs can be shut down by jumpe S2. Tips: In fact, the elationship between the levels of 4 geen LEDs and captued signal intensity is compliant with the Binay Algoithm. Fom the left to the ight, the 4 geen LEDs (ON to OFF) indicate signal weakness levels as 8, 4, 2, 1, this also means that the signal intensity is fom weak to stong. So, the stonge the alam signal eceived, the moe geen LEDs will go out. Counte-clockwise otate To elax the Lock ing Angle of depession adjust Angle of elevation adjust Hoizon adjust Clockwise fix the lock Ring How to align: See Fig. 14, fistly, counte-clockwise otate and loosen the lock ing, then adjust the detecto position by UP and DOWN o RIGHT and LEFT, to get the tansmitte and eceive aligned popely. Finally otate clockwise fo the lock ing to lock tightly. Tips: To pevent unnecessay false alams while deploying micowave baie in uneven aeas, it is suggested to adjust and have at least 1 Geen LED go out, to ensue the detecto is woking on an optimal status. Alignment steps: 1. Follow Fig. 12-14 to initially align the tansmitte and eceive. 2. Connect a multi mete (set to DC 10V) to the ANALOG Teminal of, make sue the polaity ae coect. See Fig. 15. 3. Make sue thee is no moving tagets within potected zone. Then powe the detecto on and wait about 3 minutes, till the detecto entes standby mode. 4. Refe to Fig. 14 to adjust and align the tansmitte and eceive, ty to get all geen LEDs to go out. 6. Walk Test: Afte adjusting the sensitivity, make sue again that thee is no moving tagets within the potected zone. Powe up the unit with a voltage of 10.5-24VDC to the micowave baie and wait about 3 minutes until the detecto entes standby, take a walk tests at 5 metes away fom the tansmitte and eceive within the coveage patten, and in the middle of them, Fig-15 Multimete 5m 5m Fig-16 as shown in Fig. 16. 7. Finally, fix the detecto fimly to the poles by using a spanne. Notice: The inteval of each walk test is 20sec. Walk at the speed of 0.5-3m/s towads the axes line of potected zone, afte cossing, keep 2 metes away fom the potected zone. Test peson taget should weight 50-80kg, the height when peson bows should be within 0.8-1m of the detecto s installing height. Tips: 1. Walk Test should be at least 1 time/yea, to guaantee pope opeation and effective coveage of the detecto. 2. Remote Contol Test should be pefomed once a week. Once a walk test is pefomed following the Fig. 16, the eceive will tigge an alam output which can last fo 3 seconds (i.e. the RED LED will be on fo 3 seconds). If the detecto is connected to alam contol panel, the contol 4 Fig 14

panel will geneate an alam esponse. Remote Contol Test: As shown in Fig. 11, connect a emote test button to the alam contol panel, and powe on a voltage of 5-12V DC to the TEST teminal of the tansmitte, then pess emote test button, the eceive may eceive an alam signal and tigge an alam output.
