Prior inspections for clarification of work may be requested at any time ostamped as-built plans (if required) on site prior to rough-in oalk through confirms that all work matches plans. Proper location of all heads and types, proper bracketing and hangers. oconfirms, by use of FDR fittings, that all FDCs, feeds and standpipe connections, are stamped FDY and are 2 ½ (3.030 TP). o2 hour, 200 PS hydrostatic test of entire system including FDCs. 200 PS, pump disconnected, fill location plugged. Photo of gauge and plug. +- 5 PS or by no visual leakage (FPA 3, 0.0.2.2.2) oconfirms that all OS&Y valves, tamper valves, and flow switches, are monitored by functional alarm devices. o Provides stamped/notarized Statement of Compliance letter and final, accurate, plans. These must be received a minimum of 5 days prior to final inspection date ofinal inspection system complete. All caps, covers, and parts, in place. FDC sign in proper location. Proper color coding (RD, GR, or YLLO) if applicable o Alarm system on line and conforms to FPA 72, confirms transmission of activation to 60 Control/FDR o Test valve activated, flow switch activates alarm in 30 40 seconds and alarm transmission to ew Rochelle Fire Department

Department of Fire (4) 654-223 0 Beaufort Place FAX (4) 632-207 6 u 4 CTY O F CTY OF ROCHLL YORK Fire Sprinkler/Standpipe Statement of Compliance The ew Rochelle Fire Department requires a Statement of Compliance from all installers, signed, stamped(by design professional), and/or notarized(for those not design professionals). This should reference all work performed, stating that all work is in compliance with all YS Fire (nternational Fire Code-205), Building (nternational Building Code-205), and, Mechanical (nternational Mechanical Code-205) codes, FPA requirements (please list section), and all manufactures requirements. This must cover all work performed, not simply reference what was designed or planned. f work does not match the original plans submitted and approved, a set of stamped As Built plans shall be included. As Built plans MUST be ACCURAT as to device types and location. [ 205 nternational Fire Code ], Chapter - Fire Protection Systems, SCTO 0 GRAL 0. Scope. The provisions of this chapter shall specify where fire protection systems are required and shall apply to the design, installation, inspection, operation, testing and maintenance of all fire protection systems. 0.2 Construction documents. The fire code official shall have the authority to require construction documents and calculations for all fire protection systems and to require permits be issued for the installation, rehabilitation or modification of any fire protection system. Construction documents for fire protection systems shall be submitted for review and approval prior to system installation. 0.2. Statement of compliance. Before requesting final approval of the installation, where required by the fire code official, the installing contractor shall furnish a written statement to the fire code official that the subject fire protection system has been installed in accordance with approved plans and has been tested in accordance with the manufacturer s specifications and the appropriate installation standard. Any deviations from the design standards shall be noted and copies of the approvals for such deviations shall be attached to the written statement.
