Tower Ceramic Heater Instruction manual Model: KPT-2012B Important Safeguards When using electrical appliances, in order to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and/or injury, these basic safety precautions should always be followed: For Your Safety Read all instructions carefully, even if you are quite familiar with the appliance. To prevent fire or shock hazard, DO NOT expose this appliance to rain or moisture. Dangerous high voltages are present inside this enclosure. To avoid electric shock, DO NOT open the cabinet, refer servicing to qualified personnel only. To protect against fire, electrical shock and injury to persons, do not immerse the unit, plug or cord in water or spray with liquids. Do not expose this appliance to dripping or splashing or objects filled with liquids, such as vases. Dry location use only. No naked flames sources, such as candles, should be placed on the product. Ventilation holes should not be impeded by any items, such as newspaper, blankets, tablecloths, curtains etc. Slots and opening are provided for ventilation to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating. Do not use any object to cover this appliance. Do not use the appliance in a 40 C environment. Only connect to a suitable AC 240V~50Hz mains wall outlet. Do not overload the wall outlet. Always use a fireguard when children, animals and infirm persons can come into contact with the heater. Never leave the appliance unattended when it is

in use. Never leave children unsupervised in a room where the heater is ON and unguarded. Do not position this heater immediately below or in front of a socket outlet. This heater is hot when in use or after use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Let the heater cool before moving. Keep combustible materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains well away from the heater. Do not drape laundry or any other items over the heater. Ensure that the heater is placed at a distance of at least 50cm away from walls when in use. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory and mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or is damaged in any manner. Seek advice from your local qualified service technician. This appliance is intended for indoor use only. Do not use the heater outdoors. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas or similar moist indoor locations. Never locate the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool. Do not run the power cord under carpeting or cover the cord with throw rugs, runners or the like. Arrange the cord away from traffic areas and where it will not be tripped over. Do not place the cord over any part of the heater. Do not plug this heater into an extension lead, double adaptor or power board. Do not operate unless the cord is fully extended. Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify the appliance. There are no user-serviceable parts. To disconnect the heater, switch the appliance OFF and then remove the plug from the outlet. Always unplug the heater when not in use. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock, fire or could damage the heater. This heater has hot electrical parts inside. DO NOT use it in areas where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids are used or stored. Use the heater only as described in this instruction manual. Any other use is not recommended by the manufacturer and may cause fire, electric shock or injury. Never use the heater to dry clothes, etc. Always uncoil the power cord before applying

power. Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater. Cautions: Do not operate the appliance on an inclined surface. Do not move the appliance while the appliance is switched on. In order to avoid a hazard, this appliance must not be powered through an external switching device, such as a timer. Warning If the supply cord is damaged, the cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Always seek advice from a qualified service technician or electrician. This product has not been designed for any uses other than those specified in this booklet. Save These Instructions Features of Your Heater NOTE: The remote control buttons perform the same functions as those on the control panel of the unit, but you will need to press the buttons.

Your Tower Ceramic Heater Congratulations on the purchase of your new Tower Ceramic Heater. Before first using your Heater, it is most important that you read and follow the instructions in this booklet, even if you feel you are quite familiar with this type of appliance. Your attention is drawn particularly to the section dealing with IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS. Find a place and keep this booklet handy for future reference. 1. LED display screen 2. ON/Standby button 3. Heat button(1200w or 2000W) Your Linda Tower Ceramic Heater is safe and easy to use. It has been designed to function quietly and safely under normal circumstances. This quality Linda Tower Ceramic Heater is fully portable, with a sturdy base and a modern design. This appliance has been designed to operate from a standard domestic power outlet. It is not intended for industrial or commercial use. The surface of appliance becomes very hot when operating. Keep children and adults away from hot surfaces to avoid burns or clothing ignition. The appliance will remain hot for a time after shut down. Allow surfaces to cool before touching.

Operation of your heater 1. Before inserting the plug into an electrical outlet, make sure that the electrical supply in your area matches that on the rating label on the unit. Ensure that the appliance has no damage or physical defects. Insert the power plug into the mains outlet with AC 240V~50Hz source, ensure that the plug and the socket fit well. 2. When plugged in, turn on the Mains power switch which located on the back side of the heater. 3. Turn on/standby: Touch ON/Standby button to switch the heater on. Note: You may experience odours when the appliance is switched on for the first time. To avoid any discomfort, place the heater in a well-ventilated area for 10 minutes when switched on for first time. Touch the ON/standby button again to switch off the unit. 4. Adjust the heat mode: You can select the desired heat mode by touching the HEAT button. a. Low heating (1200W) b. High heating (2000W) 5. TIMER setting function: This heater is equipped with a 12 hours timer. This enables you to preset the appliance to switch off automatically from 1 to 12 hours in 1h increments. Touch the SET button once, 0 H will appear on screen and begin to flash. You can touch the "+" or "-" buttons to set the timer. Note: The unit will be automatically turned off when the set time is reached. The time will be set within 5 seconds once you finish touching the button and the time setting value will display on the LED screen later. When the time runs out, the heater will turn off. You can set the timer to 0H to turn off the timer setting function. 6. Automatic heating function: Touch the SET button 2 times, X ºC will appear on screen and begin to flash. Touch "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the temperature as your desired comfort setting from 15 to 35 Celsius degree. After the temperature is set, the display will shows room temperature. When the room temperature reaches the preset temperature, the heating function will cut off automatically. When the room temperature is lower than 3 degrees of preset temperature, the low or high heating will turn on automatically.

7. Swing function: To activate the Swing feature, touch the SWING button once. Touch the SWING button again to turn the Swing feature off. Warning: The heater will remain hot for some time after it is turned off; handle with care. Always turn off the Mains power switch and remove the power plug from the mains outlet after use. REMOTE CONTROL The remote control requires one "CR2032" type 3-volt lithium battery (included). To extend the life of the original battery we have inserted a small clear plastic spacer tab between the lithium battery and the battery terminal. Please remove this battery spacer tab before using. If the operation of the remote control becomes unsatisfactory, replace with a new 3-volt lithium battery. 1. Place the remote control with the control buttons facing downward. 2. Touch the locking arm of the battery cover and pull out the tray. 3. Take out the exhausted 3V CR2032 battery and replace a new one into the battery tray with the positive - side facing up, observing the polarity markings. If the battery is placed incorrectly, the remote control will not work. 4. Insert the battery holder into the battery compartment. Using the Remote Control to operate the appliance 1. For the best results, aim the Remote Control directly at the remote sensor on the front panel of the heater. 2. Do not put any objects between the Remote Control and the heater while operating the appliance. 3. Operate the remote control within a 3-meter range and an angle of 60 degrees. Notes: 1. Keep batteries out of children s reach. 2. Remove the battery if it is exhausted or if the remote control is not being used for a long time. 3. When there is a strong ambient light source, the performance of the infrared remote sensor may be degraded, causing unreliable operation. 4. Batteries contain chemical substances, so they should be disposed properly.

Overheat protection This product is manufactured with a heat protection device that, in the event that the appliance is subjected to excessive heat, the thermal cut off will activate and switch the heater function off. If it cuts-off due to an obstruction in the airflow, the heater must be allowed to cool for 30 minutes and the obstruction must be removed before restarting. Safety Device This appliance comes equipped with a tip over switch. It will cut off the power due to accidental knocking over in the event of accidentally knocking the product over. If this occurs, take care when handling the appliance especially avoiding the front grill as this will still be very hot. Do not leave the appliance in the tipped position. Always ensure the unit is placed on flat stable surface. Specifications Power supply: AC 120V~60Hz Power consumption: 2000W Care and Cleaning Always ensure the heater has cooled completely before cleaning and maintenance. Always switch off the appliance and unplug it from the electrical socket and wait for it to cool down before cleaning. Allow the unit to cool down completely. Avoid contact with heat surfaces. Never spray with liquids or submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid. Keep the heater clean. Do not allow any objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock or fire or damage to the heater. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents to clean this product and avoid using abrasive cleaning agents. Use a slightly dampened, lint-free cloth to clean this appliance. Store the appliance in its original box and in a dry place to protect it from dust if it will not be used for a long period of time. Warning: NEVER immerses the unit, power cord and plug in water or any liquid while cleaning and never allow water to drip into the appliance. Note: If the cordset of the appliance becomes damaged, discontinue use. Repair should be undertaken only by a qualified electrician or service technician.
