... Infinite soutions... Ceramic insuated band heaters MODEL Z.41 (CERAMIC)
Ceramic insuated band heaters Mode Z.41 ceramic Technica features Use Pasticization cyinders for injection moding machines or extruders Mica band heaters are the idea soution for heating cyindrica surfaces in many other appications Advantages of the ceramic band heaters Exceent heat exchange to the cyinder Heating uniformity Long ife of the heater (when propery used) Easy to insta High mechanica resistance Constant quaity with time It is very important underining that for this heater, heat exchange takes pace both for conduction and radiation. Energy saving is an important characteristic because the ceramic fibre ayer, paced between the ceramic and the externa casing, reduces of about 20% energy consumption, if compared to a norma mica band heater. B A Diameters Starting from 70mm, for heaters whose diameter is over 500mm is recommendabe to manufacture them in two or more different sector with separate feedings Widths In this case, widths are determined by the distance between the hoes inside the ceramic bocks and, therefore, we have worked out the tabe at pag. 3 with the standard widths in mm. Ceramic insuated band heaters Instaation and storage instruction Instaation Storage Operation The particuar fexibe structure of this heater faciitates remarkaby its appication on the cyinder. As a matter of fact, it is possibe to enarge the band far beyond its interna diameter, in order to tighten it on the cyinder with the suitabe hexagona cyindrica head screws. When instaing the ceramic band heater, pease make sure to hod it tighty screwing up the apposite bots (with exagona head). When reached the working temperature or after 30 min. heating screw it up sti further. Do the same after few hours in order to compensate the therma inear expansion of the heater. Not doing the operation described above may cause the over heating of the parts of the heater that are not perfecty in contact with the nozze pointed out by a coour change purpe - back and consequenty the resistive fiament may burn. It is very important to foow these advices in order to have a onger ifetime of the heater Store at room temperature in a Security procedures for the dry pace. handing of eectrica items and appications must be foowed Do not touch ceramic heater bands whie in use because the can get very hot Pease make sure that the heating eements can not touch fammabe materia whie in use Genera information If our ceramic bands heater are deivered with feeding cabes without insuation (naked connection) or with removabe insuation (covered with gs-seeving) the customer himsef has to take care about the protection against eectricity. Temperature controers Connections Protect connections against the ingress of iquids and gases to avoid short circuits Insta the connections away from sharp edges or parts since this may aso cause short circuits Protect connection eads against the effects of temperature and ay them in a proper way Pay attention to the connection votage Temperature controers have to match the power consumption and the used temperature sensor. Ony insta temperature controers with automatic soft start function so that any moisture which may have entered the heating eement wi escape sowy 7
