PURGE CYCLE u SANITARY CARE ENSURING YOUR SAFETY THE PURGE CYCLE FOR YOUR WHIRLPOOL TUB The purge cycle is designed to remove standing water from the plumbing, while drying the air delivery system. The BWG Quiet-Flo Blower and electronic controls are equipped with a purge cycle as a complimentary standard feature. AUTOMATIC PURGE CYCLE 30 minutes after the system is turned off, the bath control is timed to purge the air system for two minutes. When the purge cycle ends, all equipment turns off. The air system is completely dry and helps to maintain a sanitary plumbing system. PURGE CYCLE WITH OPTIONAL CONDUCTIVE WATER SENSORS Two conductive water sensors are installed low in the tub, near the drain, which is activated whenever the bath has been drained or a session use is finished. The bath control is then timed to purge the air system for two minutes. When the purge cycle ends, all equipment turns off. This ensures a sanitary air system, as all standing water during a purge cycle is removed from the plumbing and the air system is dry. Optional: The conductive water sensor can also be mounted to help prevent a pump from operating if the water level is below a predetermined level. The connectors are installed so that one connection is in the suction line and the second connection is installed in the water pressure line. After the water has been drained; the purge cycle is automatically activated 30 minutes after the bathtub has been completely emptied. The purge cycle is automatically activated after showering, washing or rinsing the tub, whether the system has been used or not.
