Extra bonus with the purchase of Grundgrüner Wärmestrom electricity Operators of a Vitocal heat pump profit from an extra bonus when they change to Grundgrüner Wärmestrom electricity (www.grundgruener-waermestrom.de). They get green electricity exclusively from Germany, are not tied to a minimum term of contract, and can be sure of a full price guarantee for twelve months.
External units for air/water heat pumps in split and monoblock design that are as quiet as a whisper With the innovative, ultra-quiet external units, air/water heat pumps can even be used in densely built-up residential areas. When running at night, their noise pressure level at a distance of three meters is a mere 35 db(a). Thus, these new external units are by far the quietest of this type and meet the requirements of the German Technical Instructions on Noise Protection (TA Lärm). Advanced Acoustic Design This extremely low noise level of the external units is provided by Advanced Acoustic Design (AAD). This means that the frequency spectrum is purposely shifted so that the low tones are in a frequency range that is effectively muffled by the surrounding buildings. What is more, the low-noise fans with a fully variable speed control also do their part. The double elastic vibration isolation and the acoustically optimized structure of the refrigerant cycle effectively prevent the housing and refrigerant piping from giving off structure-borne noise. This makes it practically impossible for any vibrations to spread to the building. Low operating costs thanks to high level of efficiency Apart from the speed-controlled scroll compressor, high levels of efficiency are also guaranteed by the asymmetric dimensions of the heat exchangers. Characteristic of this special heat exchanger layout is that the duct cross-sections on the water side are considerably larger than on the refrigerant side. This enhances heat transfer and lowers the amount of electricity consumed by the
circulation pump. The new Vitocal 200-S, 222-S and 200-A air/water heat pumps thus achieve a peak COP of up to 5.1 (at A7/W35 C in accordance with EN 14511). High quality and modern design Made in Germany with high-quality Viessmann components, these air/water heat pumps are guaranteed to have a long lifespan. Thanks to their timeless, modern design and elegant, anthracite gray color, they clearly set themselves apart from conventional external units from the Far East. They harmonize with almost every house front. Installation and service Their low noise level allows these external units to be installed almost regardless of the specific structural conditions, such as in densely built-up townhouse complexes. Owing to the sounddeadening refrigerant cycle, no additional steps are necessary to prevent structure-borne noise. This makes installation much easier. Service is also particularly uncomplicated, since all relevant components are easily accessible. Advantages for trade partners - Easy installation thanks to structure-borne sounddeadening refrigerant cycle - Comfortable service thanks to easy accessibility of all maintenance-relevant components - High-quality components for long-lasting, robust operation - Easily meets the legal noise requirements (TA Lärm) - Especially quiet operation thanks to Advanced Acoustic Design (AAD), suitable even for densely built-up residential areas

Vitocal 060-A: hot water heat pump for efficient DHW generation Heat domestic water efficiently and affordably with the new Vitocal 060-A hot water heat pump. It is suitable for new and existing buildings alike, and ideal for applications where the ambient air is to be cooled, such as in a food storeroom or a wine cellar. A choice of using recirculating air or outside air As a recirculating air heat pump, the Vitocal 060-A uses the air directly from the room in which it is installed. Heat is taken from the ambient air and brought to a higher temperature by the heat pump to heat the water in the cylinder up to as much as
62 degrees Celsius. Cooling the ambient air also reduces its level of humidity, which protects the building fabric and enhances the quality of the indoor environment. With the outside air adapter, the heat pump can easily be converted to outside air operation. This can be necessary especially to keep it from cooling off new buildings with good thermal insulation. The heat pump works efficiently up to an outside air temperature of minus 5 degrees Celsius. Equipment configurations This compact unit is equipped with all the components needed for efficient DHW generation. The heat pump module, 250-liter DHW cylinder, and the control are all accommodated in a space-saving casing. As an option, the heat pump can be supplied with a dry connected immersion heater and an integral coiled tube heat exchanger for connecting an external heat generator. This enables the water to be heated with electricity from a photovoltaic system for instance, with the heat from the boiler, or with solar power. Heat pump can run on electricity from photovoltaic systems The new hot water heat pump is equipped to be integrated into an intelligent electricity network (smart grid ready) and to run on selfgenerated electricity from a photovoltaic system. This means a maximum of self-generated electricity can be used and the need to buy electricity from the grid is considerably reduced. Variable control The Vitocal 060-A is fully operational when delivered. The basic settings on the control can easily be changed using the integrated control element and adjusted to suit the individual needs of the user. Thus, there are various heating programs available for efficient DHW generation.

Vitocal 350-HT Pro: innovative high-temperature heat pump for using waste heat In industry and commerce, the environmentally compatible recovery of unused waste heat from processes holds great potential for saving energy and CO 2. Up to 140 terawatt-hours of waste heat could be recovered each year from industrial processes in Germany. This could supply around seven million households with heat. Viessmann has designed the Vitocal 350- HT Pro heat pump to make use of this energy. The Vitocal 350-HT Pro produces flow temperatures of up to 90 degrees Celsius at heat source temperatures of up to 50 degrees Celsius. This makes it suitable for the simultaneous utilization of waste heat and generation of process heat (heat transformer). Another efficient application is to use it to offset line loss in older local heating networks. For this purpose, the temperature is raised with the Vitocal 350-HT Pro longitudinally along the network. Climate-friendly refrigerant that does not harm the ozone layer With the new R1234ze HFO refrigerant, the mass-produced heat pump already meets the climate requirements that will apply starting in 2020. R1234ze has a global warming potential (GWP) of only six, making it especially climate-friendly compared to conventional refrigerants with a GWP of 1000, and does not harm the atmosphere s protective layer of ozone. Economical thanks to high level of efficiency This new heat pump affords heat outputs from 56.6 to 144.9 kw at B0/W35 C and from 148 to 390 kw at B50/W90 C. Depending on
the output, high efficiency and low operating costs are provided by up to three hermetic reciprocating compressors in parallel mode. The compressors switch on successively according to the output requirement. This ensures a high level of efficiency even in partial load operation. At B0/W35 C, the Vitocal 350-HT Pro has a COP of up to 4.3. Even at high flow temperatures of 90 C, it reaches a COP of 3.4. Especially quiet operation The high-quality frame mode of construction with sound-deadening panels all around keeps noise emissions (airborne noise) to a minimum. The vibration discharge on the spring-mounted cooling module also minimizes the transmission of vibration to the base support and thus the transmission of structure-borne noise to the structure. With its sound power level of less than 66 db(a), the new Vitocal 350-HT Pro is setting new standards in this performance class. Control with color touch display, remote monitoring, and communication For comfortable control, the heat pump is equipped with a PLCbased Vitotronic. Its color touch display enables intuitive control without having to make use of further instructions. Up to three mixed heating or cooling circuits can be monitored and controlled. The control has many communication possibilities for remote monitoring and control. Apart from LAN-based systems, you can also use MODBus and BacNet interfaces, which enable the heat pump to be integrated into the superordinate building management systems.
Installation and service The casing of the Vitocal 350-HT Pro is characterized by compact dimensions. The heat pump is completely wired at the factory. Connections for circulation pumps are easily accessible on the top. Function extensions in the form of accessories are likewise prefabricated or can be installed at the factory. The Vitocal 350-HT Pro also has tried and tested self-sealing plug connection technology for time-saving installation of the hydraulic connections. The integrated start-up assistant facilitates the initial start-up by asking the operator for the relevant parameters in a dialog and then setting them. A diagnostic system monitors the functioning of the refrigerant cycle and quickly provides a comprehensive overview of the system status. The data log function stores operating data for up to fourteen days in the past, thereby facilitating service. An optional leak monitor can replace the legally prescribed leak tests to be performed by the owner, which reduces operating costs.
