SLEEPERS The possible uses for wooden sleepers in your garden are many and varied. PlaceMakers has access to a great range of sleepers that can be used for raised gardens, pathways, steps, water features and furniture. RUSTIC SLEEPERS Used rustic sleepers. The top and sides are generally square. Ideal for retaining walls, edgings and similar. A very good sleeper for its uses and price. Creosote treated (as per NZ standards). When using around vegetable gardens use of polythene between soil and timber is recommended. OAK SLEEPERS Australian hardwood is suitable for a wide range of landscaping applications such as garden edging or low non structural retaining walls. Available in: 220 x 110mm x 2.1M & 220 x 130mm x 2.1M USED SLEEPERS A grade used rustic sleepers. The top and sides are generally square and well defined with rustic weathering. MCA* PINE SLEEPER MCA* treated timber offers a reduced chemical footprint and has been certified by Greenguard. This makes it highly suitable as an inexpensive, sustainable plant surround.
