USAGE GUIDE Laundry SIMPLY AMAZING can be used as a pre-spray for the laundry (avoid satin, silk and soft leather). Use a 10:1 dilution and spray all problem areas. Allow to sit. Mildew, Calcium, Hardwater Apply a 10:1 solution to the area, and leave it for 10 to 20 minutes. Use a stiff brush or non-abrasive pad to remove the build-up. Carbon SIMPLY AMAZING used in a 20:1 solution can solve the problem of carbon on piston heads, epoxy glues, silicone seals and gaskets. Use for stacks by spraying directly on and rinsing off. Use SIMPLY AMAZING at 10:1 for dipping and allow to soak in solution for 1 hour and rinse. Carpet Stains Spray and soak the stain with a 20:1 dilution. Agitate the stain with the spray bottle trigger or a stiff brush, making sure SIMPLY AMAZING is being worked down into the carpet base. Use an old bath towel to remove the stain. If some of the stain remains then repeat the procedure. For extra performance, use freshly boiled water from a tea kettle as a rinse to your stain. Pour onto the stain, and dry with an old towel. Glass Washing Machines Use SIMPLY AMAZING to replace the cleaning and rinsing chemicals. The correct mixture to use is a 20:1 dilution. Take a clean, empty 5-gallon pail, fill it almost to the top with water, and add 1 cup of SIMPLY AMAZING concentrate. If you use a sanitizer chemical as a last step, continue to do so. Aircraft Aircraft can be maintained both inside and out with CITRA CLEAN. Use 10:1 for heavy-duty applications such as removal of glycol, carbon, grease etc. The interior of an aircraft can be maintained with 10:1, 30:1 and 120:1 dilutions, depending on the application. Please refer to the dilution guide. Carpet Shampooer SIMPLY AMAZING can be used in a carpet shampooer or a steam cleaner. Your first step is to vacuum the entire carpet. Then remove all heavy stains by using a 20:1 dilution as outlined above. The recommended dilution is 50:1. Most carpet shampooers have solution tanks with a 3 to 5 gallon capacity. Fill them with hot water and then add 1 to 1 1/2 cups (8 to 12 ounces} of CITRA CLEAN. Pre-spray with a 10:1 dilution any severely soiled areas and work the mixture into the spot. Shampoo your carpet by doing one section at a time. Spend more time on heavy traffic areas, as these areas will have the most dirt to remove. Allow the area to dry.
Windows, Mirrors, Glass To keep all your windows, mirrors and glass clean, use SIMPLY AMAZING at a 120:1 dilution. Fill a spray bottle with water, and add 1 teaspoon of CITRA CLEAN. Do not mix stronger than this or it will streak. Mist the area to be cleaned, and wipe it with paper towels or newspapers. If you want to remove scotch tape from glass, mist the area with a 20:1 dilution then put a paper towel on the area and spray to soak it. Leave it for 15-20 minutes. Use a clean towel to buff off the tape and adhesive. Car Interiors A 10:1 dilution of SIMPLY AMAZING is great for removing any carpet, mat or upholstery stains. A 20:1 dilation works well for cleaning the dash, doors, vinyl, leather, seat belts and doorjambs. A 50:1 dilution is perfect for a carpet shampoo machine or steam cleaner. A 120:1 dilution is great for all glass and mirrors, as well as car wash. Gum on Carpets Fill a small glass with an ounce or two of a 20:1 dilution. Place the glass in a microwave, and heat for 45-55 seconds. Be careful, as the glass is hot! Using a glove, remove the glass and pour the heated SIMPLY AMAZING onto the gum. Watch the gum dissolve, and wipe up with a rag. De-fogging Glass & Mirrors Add one teaspoon only of SIMPLY AMAZING in a 32 ounce bottle. Lightly mist the area to be cleaned and wipe with a clean dry cloth to buff glass completely. Great for windshields, eyeglasses, mirrors, and store windows and glass display cases. Ovens Pre-heat your oven by using broil for 10 minutes. Spray a 10:1 dilution of SIMPLY AMAZING onto the areas to be cleaned. Let it sit for 15 minutes. Use a non-abrasive scrub pad to help break up the built up grease. Use a towel to wipe up and buff the ovens surface. Restaurants: use SIMPLY AMAZING on your grease traps, fryers, pizza ovens and stainless steel. Shop Floors and Walls For floors put 2 cups of SIMPLY AMAZING into a 5-gallon pail of hot water. Stir and splash onto your floor. Use a stiff broom to work the SIMPLY AMAZING into your floor. After cleaning, rinse with water. SIMPLY AMAZING will replace Varsol, carb-cleaner, WD-40. Dilute SIMPLY AMAZING to a 10:1 dilution for shop walls. To remove carbon or grease off shop walls spray and soak a wall with a 10:1 dilution. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Use a broom or brush for heavy build-up. Use a pressure washer or garden hose to rinse.
Stainless Steel Use a 20:1 dilution to remove built up grease and oil. Always work with the grain of stainless steel for best results. Once you have removed the build-up, use a 120:1 dilution to finish, then buff with a clean, dry cloth. SIMPLY AMAZING removes salt pills and rust. Upholstery Use SIMPLY AMAZING at a 20:1 dilution on any upholstery stains. Spray with SIMPLY AMAZING and agitate with a stiff brush and blot with a dry cloth. Bathroom and Shower Use a 10:1 dilution for all heavy-duty bathroom and shower cleaning. To clean shower tiles, leave Citra-Clean on for 10 to 15 minutes. Use a non-abrasive scouring pad to help take off heavy mildew or soap scum. A clean dry bath towel should be used to buff surfaces dry. A light protective coat is left on tiles to help sheen water off. Paint Oxidization/Overspray To remove paint oxidation and over spray use a 10:1 dilution of CITRA CLEAN. Spray a section and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Use a clean, dry towel to wipe and buff in a circular motion, restoring the paint to its natural luster. Degreaser Use SIMPLY AMAZING in a 10:1 dilution on hot engines. Let sit for 15 minutes and rinse with a pressure washer or garden hose. Sawmills Tree sap or pitch can be removed from saw blades with a 10:1 dilution. Spray the blade, give it a few minutes to loosen up and then wipe it clean with a non-abrasive scrubbing pad. Some sawmills will soak their blades in a pail or drum solution of 30:1 dilution overnight, for an easy clean up the next morning. File rooms keep their equipment clear of carbide and carbon filings by using either a 10:1 or 20:1 dilution. Spray the equipment, let it sit for 1-2 minutes, and wipe it clean. Spraying equipment with a 20:1 solution and letting it dry on makes future cleanings quicker. Engine Degreaser For best results make sure your engine is hot from driving or idling for a few minutes. Spray and soak the entire engine and hoses with a 10:1 solution of CITRA CLEAN. Let the degreaser sit for 15 minutes, while you clean your tires and whitewalls. If you have heavy grease build-up, then use a non-abrasive scouring pad to help. Then use a garden host to rinse off the engine and compartment.
Auto Body Shops SIMPLY AMAZING is silicone free, making it suitable for auto body uses. To remove silicone, spray the area with a 20:1 dilution. Use a soft brush or towel to buff in a circular motion. You can also use SIMPLY AMAZING for wax and grease removal. Use a 20:1 dilution in a bucket or pail to hand wash. For all rubbers, use a 20:1 dilution. Spray evenly; let it sit for 30 seconds then wipe clean and dry with a clean towel or cloth. This will remove all traces of grease, oil and dirt so your masking tape will adhere easily. SIMPLY AMAZING can be used at 10:1 to remove paint overspray from booth lights or other areas." SIMPLY AMAZING removes paint oxidation, silicone from door jams, tires and interiors. SIMPLY AMAZING also removes overspray from brake lights, tires, glass and interiors. Use a 10:1 dilution. R.V.'s Recreation Vehicles can be kept in spotless condition with CITRA CLEAN. Use a 10:1 dilution to remove the black streaks that run down from windows, and to remove heavy build-up. Jewellery To clean your rings, necklaces, chains, bracelets and waterproof watches, simply add a capful of SIMPLY AMAZING to a large glass of hot water. Let your jewelry soak for 10 to 15 minutes, giving it an occasional stir. Remove your jewelry and buff it with a clean, dry towel. Boats Boat motors can be degreased and kept clean with a 10:1 dilution. To remove algae other build-up from a boat's hull, use a 10:1 dilution. Spray evenly and let it sit for 10 minutes before wiping with an old bath towel Faded paint can be easily removed by using a 10:1 dilution. Spray evenly and use a soft brush or towel in a circular motion. Tarps, awnings, canvas and boat covers can be cleaned with a 10:1 dilution. Spray evenly and work it in with a stiff brush. Use a garden hose or pail to rinse. Clean deck and bilge by using a 10:1 dilution. Farms and Ranches SIMPLY AMAZING helps farmers and ranchers get their maintenance work done quickly, safely and inexpensively. Dairy farmers use it to keep their stainless steel equipment sparkling clean. Heavy machinery, vehicles and equipment can all be degreased and kept clean by CITRA-CLEAN, without poisoning farmland.
Tires and Whitewalls Spray and soak all tires with a 10:1 dilution of CITRA CLEAN. Use a stiff brush or sponge to scrub the tires. Citra-Clean will remove brake dust, dead rubber, road grime and help restore your tires to their original condition. Vinyl Tops A 20:1 dilution of SIMPLY AMAZING will do using a stiff brush. Allow to sit 10 minutes and rinse with clean water. Ships SIMPLY AMAZING is excellent for most aspects of ship maintenance. Bilge, engines, decks, rust removal and degreasing can all be done with a 10:1 dilution and a brush. Citra-Clean is biodegradable, so it can be rinsed into the ocean, without affecting the environment. SIMPLY AMAZING can also be diluted with seawater. Pressure Washers SIMPLY AMAZING works superbly in all pressure washers and steam cleaners for such jobs as paint work, vinyl siding and engines. Conventional powders usually clog nozzles and a machine, while CITRA-CLEAN is 100% water-soluble. Most pressure washers run over 1,000 PSI, so use SIMPLY AMAZING at a 120:1 dilution. If your holding tank is about 5 gallons then use 1 cup of concentrate per tank or fill 45-gallon drum & add 1 gallon of CITRA CLEAN. Hot water will always give better results than cold.
