About us 2 Enea was born in 1984 with the clear objective to oer a contemporary design product, always for commercial use, &it for all types of spaces: Private interiors O(ices Bars, restaurants, hotels Auditoriums Educational centres Airports Hospitals Conference rooms Etc. ENEA s furniture stands out because of its versatility, its comfort and the functionality of its elements, which are complemented with materials that are easy to use and a production and industrial process that is the result of intense investigations conducted by the I+D+i Department. All the products share the same characteristics, which bring an added value: Design Comfort and ergonomics Wide programmes with a big variety of &inishes. Security and resistance - certi&ied by both the European (EN) and American (BIFMA) norms. The perseverance to accomplish these qualities has positioned ENEA since 1998 as a leader for the public facilities seating sector in Spain and also as a model in some European markets. This has also been possible thanks to the collaboration of designers with such prestige and experience such as Josep Lluscà and Gabriel Teixidó - and more recently the studio Lievore Altherr Molina and Estudi Manel Molina and to the quality and manufacturing of the materials.
Environment 3 Enea with the environment Enea shows its environment awareness through a design and production philosophy following several environmental criteria such as: Simplicity: during the designing process, the number of components is reduced to its minimum, obtaining a perfect interrelation between them. Recyclability and reutilization: the design tries to use recyclable and recycled materials for its manufacturing, as well as a simple dismantling that makes the recycling and reutilization of all the materials much easier. Use of non-dangerous materials: Enea also works to reduce and substitute the use of dangerous materials or damaging for the environment. As an example, they use the paint Epoxi, which have neither solvents nor harmful volatile organic compounds. All this eort developed by Enea has been recognized with the EKOSCAN certi&ication for the environment and the certi&ication of Sustainable Production and I+D+i, as well as the Ecodesign Management certi&icate and the GECA certi&icate granted by the Australian authorities to the Lottus program.
Internationalisation 4 Enea international Enea s designs have acquired a large international prestige, and the company has carried out a vast number of facilities in dierent countries around the world. The exportation of their products represents 85% of the invoicing, giving the company a lot of experience in this matter (quality criteria, &lexibility to the needs and demands of every market, production capacity, etc.) ENEA is present on &ive continents: Europe: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland Portugal, United Kingdom, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden Switzerland and Turkey. America: North America: United States and Canada South America: Colombia, Chile, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela Central: Costa Rica and Mexico Asia: Saudi Arabia, South Korea, UAE, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. Oceania: Australia and New Zealand Africa: Algeria, Angola, Gabon, Morocco and South Africa. In addition, the Enea activity is complemented by a sales network consisting of 14 agents in Spain, another 25 scattered throughout the dierent European countries.
Novelty 5 Caddy Designer: Estudi Manel Molina Year: 2017 Caddy is the coat stand designed by Estudi Manel Molina and Enea s commitment to oer new furnishing solutions for residential spaces and collective facilities. It is available in two versions: with a &loor base and wall-mounted. It is an accessory which, thanks to its stylish and friendly &igure, complements interior decoration. The coat stand is mounted on a metal base with a circular metal tube with natural beech protruding rounded hangers to avoid deforming the hanging garments. Enea has developed Caddy with the new polypropylene &inish to oer new equipment solutions for residential spaces and collective facilities. The wall-mounted coat stand i made also in natural beech and mounted on a square metallic base.
Novelty 6 Puck Designer: Estudi Manel Molina Year: 2017 Puck is an auxiliary seat and a new "soft seating" collection designed by Estudi Manel Molina for Enea. It has been added to the catalogue of furniture for spaces equipment to offer new options in decoration and functionality to of&ice environments or residential. In 2018 Enea introduces a lower stool version (37cm) specially developed for residential spaces. Made of a block of foam upholstered, available in all Enea options, and mounted on a base/ plinth painted or polish with aluminium injection. There are three dierent versions: pouf on wheels, with self-breaking casters and without wheels. All versions oer dynamism and agility in its use, and give the user great freedom of movement. With its rounded and sober lines, and thanks to its neutral appearance, it is suitable for a great variety of environments: o(ices, educational or residential.
Novelty 7 Ema 4L Designer: Lievore Altherr Molina Year: 2017 The Ema chair, Enea s seating program characterized by its high stackability, lightness and functionality, incorporates a new variant. The Ema 4L chair with 4 legs which can be with or without aluminium arms. To date, all versions of Ema chairs and stools were made with a slade base. Currently it will also be available with 4 feet and aluminium arms. An option that Enea has developed to offer more options in the con&iguration and equipment of public, hospitality and residential spaces. Ema keeps its versatility, since the new version with 4 legs is manufactured in 2 dierent back designs, open and full. The chair is available in polypropylene or with its seat and back totally or partially upholstered, and it is available in all of Enea s &inishes.
Novelty 8 Kaiak Designer: Estudi Manel Molina Year: 2017 Kaiak is a classic seat with a new fresh and contemporary design developed by Estudi Manel Molina. It is characterized by the curved shape of the backrest that emphasizes the hug gesture of the wooden board. It is produced by a subtle sheet of plywood creating a welcoming space for the user. The interior of the seat can be upholstered, available in the entire Enea range of upholstery. The base of the chair can be made of wood or metal, and in both can adapt to dierent solutions to &it in dierent professional or domestic spaces: 4 legs, slade base, with wheels, spin and 4 cross legs.
Novelty 9 Street Designer: Estudi Manel Molina Year: 2017 Street is a new Enea s proposal for a new solution of seats for outdoor needs in public spaces or residential areas designed by Estudi Manel Molina. The elegant and simple lines transmits lightness. Designed to provide a contemporary touch and a young air to outdoor spaces. It is made in two versions, with or without arms, in printed metal sheet welded to a light structure which can be lacquered in dierent Enea colors. And, to obtain the maximum comfort, its design also allows to incorporate a cushion that can be &ixed with magnets to the structure.
Novelty 10 LTS System Designer: Estudi Manel Molina Year: 2017 LTS System Table is a table system, designed by Estudi Manel Molina for Enea, with the aim of offering several options in the con&iguration of spaces for of&ice, home of&ice, residential or dining rooms. This workspace table range is based on a &lexible aluminium joining system of legs and individual worktops. It allows freedom in the choice of countertops, no matter the size, thickness or materials, and allows either large compositions or any customer s choice. The tables, made in wood and are available with 3 or 4 legs and in three dierent highs (37cm, 74cm and 110cm) Legs can be in natural Birch Wood or Birch tinted, in wenge or natural.
Designers 11 Estudi Manel Molina Manel Molina, born in Barcelona, studied Interior Design and Industrial Design at EINA School in Barcelona. From 1985 to 1989 he worked with Miquel Milá and developed for its own account works of interior and industrial design. In 1991 he created Lievore Altherr Molina studio with Alberto Lievore and Janette Altherr and they developed a large number of industrial design projects for national and international &irms. His work has been awarded with the Spanish National Design Award (1999) and several Delta de Oro and Delta de Plata awards (Adi-Fad, Spain). In mid-2016 Manel Molina decided to take a new path creating Estudi Manel Molina, focusing on product design, consultancy and art direction.
Designers 12 Lievore Altherr Molina The activity of Lievore Altherr Molina is based on product design and consulting and art direction for several companies. The Studio is mainly known for their furniture designs although it also develops interior design projects and packaging. In many occasions they oer seminaries and courses at several Spanish Universities for the formation of new professionals. Lottus is the result of their &irst collaboration with ENEA and with the chair of the same collection, a(irms the partnership with the company. At the present time the studio collaborates with projects for Spain, Italy and the United States, and amongst their clients are companies such as Andreu World, Arketipo, Arper, Arruti, Bellato, Bernhardt, Casamilano, Do+Ce, Dona, Emmebi, Foscarini, Halifax, Metalarte, Orizzonti, Perobell, Poltrona Frau, Roda, Santa & Cole, Segis, Sellex, Sovet, Sunroller, Tacchini, Tisettanta, Verzelloni, Vibia, etc. They have held Personal Exhibitions and shows all over the world: Barcelona, Cologne, Chicago, Stockholm, Helsinki, Lisbon, London, Louisiana, Madrid, Malmö, Milan, New York, Paris, Tokyo. Their work has been recognized with the most prestigious awards such as the National Award of Design (Spain, 1999) and several ADI-FAD Delta de Oro and Delta de Plata (Spain).
Designers 13 Josep Lluscà Considered one of the best industrial designers in Spain, he is one of the pillars of the designs produced by ENEA, since he has been collaborating with the company since 1983. He teaches at the Eina School in Barcelona and is a member of the Advisory Council of the BCD Foundation. Josep Lluscà has designed for companies in very dierent sectors: lighting, furniture, packaging, electrical appliances, toys, urban equipment, electric material, household items, cars, etc., and some of his creations are exhibited in museums all around the World. Due to the prestige of his work he has collaborated in many occasions with internationally renowned companies such as Cassina, Driade, Flos, General Electric, Sanyo, Permasa, SEAT, Sanex, Niessen, Oken, O&ita or Actiu. Lluscà has received a large amount of national and international awards: the Adi-Fad Delta de Oro (Spain), Industrial Design Excellence Award from Industrial Design Society of America (USA), IF_Product Design Award for Excellence Design (Hannover, Germany), Best of Neocon (EE.UU.) ALAN International Aluminium Award from the Swedish Industrial Design Foundation, Premio Nacional de Diseño in Spain, etc.
Designers 14 Gabriel Teixidó Also considered one of the top industrial designers in Spain, he is the other main pillar of ENEA when it comes to designing. He has created famous home and o(ice furniture and accessories. He was also a professor at the Eina School in Barcelona and is still a member of the ADI-FAD board. The companies he works with or has worked for includes: Stua, Shetug, Axa International, Expo Sevilla 92, Carpyen Iluminación, Grassoler, Andreu World, Arruti, FM Sillería, Aridi or Permasa.
