This model uses a unique integrating open-air design that allows accurate measurement of the scattering extinction coefficient of ambient air. The NGN-2A includes a light projector with bulb, clean air filter, all CMOS electronics for full instrument control and unattended operation, rain sensor, and digital and analog outputs. Requires external power supply capable of providing 13.8 VDC at 4.5 amps (connector parts are included), external data logging device, and span gas for calibration.
