Site Grading Plan sheet C1.2, note 3 calls out 4 minimum new asphalt millings, while Site Improvements Plan sheet C1, note 8 calls out new 3 asphalt paving. It s not clear where new asphalt ends and asphalt millings starts. A1: For asphalt and millings location Sheet C1.2 is correct. 2. Demolition Keyed Note E on sheet C3.1 calls out saw cut and removal of existing asphalt, but the note points to the existing irrigation line. A2: Delete Note E. 3. Acoustical Ceiling tile Specification section 095113, paragraph 2, part 2.3 A is calling for a 2X4 washable white vinyl tile Armstrong A769. However, the Armstrong Cortega A769 is a generic tile, not vinyl. Please clarify. A3: Delete reference to washable white vinyl. 4. Guard Rail at Interior Stairs: Please provide detail for guard rail at interior stairs. A4: Install 1½ ɸ pipe rail each side of stair. Extend past top and bottom tread 1-0. 5. Sheet S2.1, Wind Beam The roof framing plan for Building #2 shows wind beam WB-1 and WB-2. WB-1 is a W8x18 wide flange beam. Please provide size beam for WB-2. A5: Wind beam WB-2 W8x18. 6. Are we to include a wall mounted steel ladder for access to the roof hatch in building #1? A6: No.
7. The civil drawings and structural drawings show a portion of Building #4 to be included in the base bid. Please advise if any of building #4 is to be included in the base bid or if all of Building #4 is part of Alternate #1. A7: Building #2 - Entire Building is an Alternate. 8. Please confirm the city will provide power up to and including the transformers, and we are only to include power from the transformers to buildings #1 and #3 (base bid) and building #4 (alternate #1). A8: Yes. FEUS will supply power up to and including the transformers. All service work from transformers should be included in proposal. 9. Please confirm the city will provide communications, including raceways and cabling to the buildings. A9: COF will provide an overhead fiber line for communications up to the utility pole located at the NW corner of the property. 10. Please advise if we are to provide the concrete pads for the transformers. A10: No. 11. Please confirm the contractor is to remove and relocate the light pole (note C on C1.1 and note 5 on C1.2) and the city will remove and relocate the overhead power line to the light pole. A11: FEUS will remove existing light pole and associated secondary line. 12. Please confirm CH2M will be providing and installing the site water line, new water meter, new fire hydrant and new 6 fire line as shown on sheet C1. A12: Contractor to install fire line, fire hydrant, domestic water line. CH2M will install water. Contractor to pay for meter. 13. Site Improvements Plan sheet C1, note 12, location for new fire hydrant what size water line to fire hydrant? Is this by CH2M? A13: 6 inches. 14. Please confirm our bid is to include the cost of CH2M s work described above. A14: No. 15. Sheet C1.2 note 3 install 4" min asphalt millings and C2.1 note 4 calls for 21/2 paving over 8" base course sheet C3.1 note 1 calls for same paving as note 4 on C2.1 what note is to be followed? A15: City is installing asphalt and providing millings.

Who will be providing the millings? A17: City of Farmington. 18. If the irrigation line interferes with construction what is the plan to shut line down during irrigation season? A18: We will coordinate for shutdown to tie in. 19. Sheet A2.1 relay storage shows a 12x12 overhead door and sheet A2.2 shows a 12x14 the eave is not tall enough to accommodate the 12x14 door. A19: Door is 12x12. 20. There is no water entry detail provided. A20: See Sheet P5.1. 21. Is the CMU block to be a standard grey or colored? A21: South wall of Building #1 and East and North wall of Building #4 to be split face to match main Municipal Operations Center building. Rest is regular gray. 22. Who will be taking care of the communications for this project? A22: The City of Farmington will handle this internally. 23. Sheet E3.1 building #3 panel 3 shows 30 amp circuits feeding GFCI receptacles that are only 20 amp rated. A23: Sheet E3.1. Building #3. Response: The direction provided to us by the City of Farmington is that the block heaters require a 30amp, 120VAC branch circuit. The symbol used is for a 20amp, 120VAC duplex outlet. The contractor shall include in his bid for providing a 30amp, 120VAC receptacle, which shall be coordinated with the City of Farmington prior to ordering and installation. 24. Sheet E3.1 building 3 what controls the lighting? A24: Sheet E3.1. Building #3. What controls the lighting? Response: The light fixtures (type SL1 or SL2) in this area are specified with on-board occupancy sensors mounted integral to the fixtures. See light fixture schedule, Sheet E6.1. 25. Provide all manual pull stations with covers as per the Farmington Fire Marshall requirements. 3. It is the design intent for all fire alarm cabling to be installed within conduit. Exposed cabling shall not be acceptable. 26. Specification section 076100 is for sheet metal roofing, yet we cannot locate where this material is in the drawings. Can you let me know if there is any sheet metal roofing in this project? If so, I would like to submit a prior approval for the material, and I need to do that in the next day or so. A26: Sheet A3.2. Building #3 has metal roof. Metals specified in Section 07 6100-26 gauge. 27. Can TPO be bid for all roofs instead of putting metal panels on such a low sloped roof? A27: Sheet A3.2. It is the intent of the design for the contractor to coordinate with the City of Farmington for the placement of the transformer, but the transformer will be installed by the City of Farmington. The contractor will extend service to the buildings from the new service transformers. The contractor will be required to provide conduit to Building #1 from the nearby utility pole. Phone service to Building #1 will be via the local phone utility. CHANGE: Attached is a list of approved substitutions. Receipt of this addendum shall be noted on Form AF-1 (a) in Tab I Bidding Requirements for the above referenced bid.
