Always follow the Australian / New Zealand requirements for connection INSTALLATION MOUNTING HEIGHTS AND CLEARANCE The minimum distance between the supporting surface for the cooking vessels on the hob and the lowest part of the range hood. When the range hood is located above a gas appliance, this distance shall be at least 120cm. If the instructions for installation for the gas hob specify a greater distance, this has to be taken into account. Minimum mount height above cooking surface should be no lower than 1200mm (120cm) It is important to install the hood at the proper mounting height. Hoods mounted too low could hoods mounted too high will be hard to reach and min 1200mm max 2700mm Extension available Maximum ceiling clearance 2700mm at 1200 mm hood mounting height (depending on model used) Minimum duct size: GRHM - Round 2x150mm diameter GRHL - Round 3 x 150mm diameter 915mm Flexible ducts are supplied for convenience, always use rigid type metal ducts if available to Flexible Duct Material (Supplied), Notes for Installation. 1) Never combine the ducts, always flue all ducts individually to the atmosphere and ensure a cap and flashing are used on all ducts.
