Do not place any object between the oven front face and its door, or allow soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces. WARNING: If the door or door seals are damaged, the oven must not be operated until it has been repaired by a competent person. ADDENDUM Keep the oven clean and remove any food deposits, or it could lead to deterioration of the surface. This could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation. The microwave oven is intended for heating food and beverages. SAFETY INSTRUCTION READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE 1. To avoid electric shock, fire or injury, please read the user manual carefully before using the appliance and keep it for future reference. 2. This appliance is for household use only. Please use suitable power source (230V~/50Hz). 3. Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. 4. Do not use the appliance under direct sunshine. 5. Please turn off the appliance when not in use otherwise it may result in danger. 6. Please turn off the appliance and unplug the socket when unattended otherwise it may result in danger. 7. Keep away the appliance from children. 8. The appliance is not intended to use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 9. Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in microwave ovens since they may explode, even after microwave heating has ended. 26. Use this appliance only for its intended uses as described in manual. Do not use corrosive chemicals or vapours in this appliance. This oven is especially designed to heat. It is not designed for industrial or laboratory use. 27. Do not store or use this appliance outdoors. 28. Do not use this oven near water, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool. 29. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating. Keep the cord away from the heated surface, and do not cover any vents on the oven. 30. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of table or counter. 31. The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars shall be stirred or shaken and the temperature shall be checked before consumption, in order to avoid burns. 32. CONTROL PANEL Microwave / Grill / Combination Function Pad Press to select microwave cooking and microwave power or select grill or combination cooking. If not selected, 100% (high power) will be automatically selected. Weight Defrost Function Pad Press to defrost food by weight or by time. Clock / Pre-Set Pad Press to set clock time or select auto-start. Stop / Clear Pad Press to clear the selected cooking program. During the cooking process, press once to stop the operation of the oven, and twice to cancel the cooking program. Start / +30Sec. / Confirm Pad Press to start the oven after setting program. Press once to cook 30 seconds at 100% high power or increase by 30 seconds multiples each time this pad is pressed during cooking. INSTALLATION Countertop Installation Remove all packing material from the oven cavity. Do not remove the light brown waveguide (Mica) cover which is attached to the oven cavity. Examine the oven for any damage such as dents or broken door. Do not install if the oven is damaged. Oven cavity: Remove any protective film found on the microwave oven cavity surface. Installation 1. Countertop must provide and/or outlet vents. enough open space for the intake The minimum installation height is 85cm above the floor. Allow space at least 20cm between the appliance and the adjacent wall or object. Leave at least minimum 30cm space above the top surface of the oven Do not remove the stands from the bottom of the oven. Blocking the inlet and/or outlet vents can damage the oven. Place the oven as far away from radios and TV as possible. Operation of microwave oven may cause interference to your radio and TV reception. 2. Plug the oven into a standard household outlet. Be sure the voltage and the frequency are the same as stated on the rating label. WARNING: Do not install oven over a range cooktop or other heat-producing appliance. If installed near or over a heat source, the oven could be damaged and the warranty would be void. The accessible surface may be hot during operation. 8

GROUNDING INSTALLATION DANGER Electric Shock Hazard Touching some of the internal components can cause serious personal injury or death. Do not disassemble this appliance. WARNING Improper grounding can result in electric shock. Do not plug into an outlet unless appliance is properly installed and grounded. This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. Please plug into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded. Should you have any doubt or not fully understood the grounding installation, please consult with a qualified technician. Please use a 3-wire extension cord if extension is necessary. 1. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting in entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. 2. If a long cord or extension cord is used: The marked electric rating of the cord or the extension cord should be at least as great as the appliance. The extension cord must be a grounding-type 3-wire cord. The long cord should be located properly. Do not drape it over the countertop or the tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally. OPERATION INSTRUCTION Utensils CAUTION See the instructions on Materials you can use in the microwave oven or Material to be avoided in the microwave oven. There may be certain non-metallic utensils that are not suitable for microwaving. If in doubt, please test the utensil in question with following procedures. Utensil Test: 1. Fill a microwave-safe container with 1 cup of cold water (250ml) along with the empty utensil in question. 2. Cook on maximum power for 1 minute. 3. Feel the utensil carefully. If the empty utensil is hot, do not use it for microwave cooking. 4. Do not test the utensil over 1 minute cooking time. 9

Please stay and keep your eyes on the container while cooking. Use to cover food for reheating and absorbing oil. Applies only for short time cooking. Operation 1. Clock Setting When the microwave oven is electrified, 0:00 will be displayed and buzzer will ring once. Press Clock/Pre-Set, the hour figure will flash; Turn to adjust the hour figures (set time within 0-23). Press Clock/Pre-Set, the minute figures will flash; Turn to adjust the minute figures (set time within 0-59). Press Clock/Pre-Set to finish clock setting. Note: If the clock is not set, time pre-set cannot be functioned. During the process of clock setting, if no operation in 1 minute, the oven will go back to the previous status automatically. 2. Microwave Cooking Press Micro/Grill/Combi pad once, and P100 will be displayed. Select the desired microwave power level by pressing Micro/Grill/Combi or turn repeatedly. (P100, P80, P50, P30, P10 will be displayed in order) Press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to confirm setting. Turn to adjust the cooking time (set time within 0:05-95:00). Press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to start cooking. Note: Steps of time adjustment by turning 0 1 minute : 5 seconds 1 5 minutes : 10 seconds 5 10 minutes : 30 seconds 10 30 minutes : 1 minutes 30 95 minutes : 5 minutes are as follow: Microwave Power Level Display P100 P80 P50 P30 P10 Microwave Power 100% 80% 50% 30% 10% 11

3. Grill Cooking Press Micro/Grill/Combi pad once, and P100 will be displayed. Select grill power (LED displays G ) by pressing Micro/Grill/Combi pad or turn repeatedly. Press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to confirm setting. Turn to adjust the grill time (set time within 0:05-95:00). Press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to start cooking. Note: When the grill time passes half, the oven rings twice to remind you to turn the food over. In order to have a better effect of grilling food, you are suggested to open the oven door and turn the food over, close the door and then press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to continue cooking. If no operation, the oven will continue working without pauses. 4. Combination Cooking Press Micro/Grill/Combi pad once, and P100 will be displayed. Select combination power (LED displays C-1 or C2) by pressing Micro/Grill/Combi pad or turn repeatedly. PressStart/+30Sec./Confirm to confirm setting. Turn to adjust the grill time (set time within 0:05-95:00). Press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to start cooking. Combination Microwave + Grill Power Power C-1 55% + 45% C-2 36% + 64% 5. Instant Cooking In standby mode, press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to start instant cooking with 100% power level for 30seconds. Each press on the same key can increase 30 seconds while cooking. (Maximum up to 95 minutes) In standby mode, turn left to choose the cooking time directly then press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to start cooking with 100% microwave power. Note: During Microwave, Grill, Combination or Time Defrost cooking process, each press on Start/+30Sec./Confirm can increase 30 seconds cooking time. This function is not applicable under Weight Defrost or Auto Cooking Menu mode. 12

6. Weight Defrost Function Press Weight/Time Defrost once to choose weight defrost function, def1 will be displayed. Turn to select the food weight (weight range from 100-0g). Press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to start defrosting. 7. Time Defrost Function Press Weight/Time Defrost twice to choose time defrost function, def2 will be displayed. Turn to select the cooking time (set time within 0:05-95:00). Press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to start defrosting. 8. Dual Cooking Programs Set Up The oven is able to set up 2 cooking stages in maximum. If one of the stages is defrosting, please put in the first stage and the buzzer will ring once after 1 st stage and the next stage will begin. Example: If you want to defrost the food for 5 minutes, then to cook with 80% microwave power for 7 minutes. The steps are as following: Press Weight/Time Defrost twice, def2 will be displayed; Turn to adjust the defrost time to 5 minutes; Press Micro/Grill/Combi once and turn to choose P80 for 80% microwave power. Press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to confirm setting. Turn to adjust the cooking time to 7 minutes; Press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to start cooking. Note: Auto menu cannot be set as one of the multi-stage. 13

9. Pre-Set Function Clock must be set before operating Pre-Set function and maximum to set 2 stages cooking. (Defrosting is not applicable in Pre-Set function) Example: If you want to cook with 80% microwave power for 7 minutes at designated time. Press Micro/Grill/Combi once and turn to choose P80 for 80% microwave power Press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to confirm setting. Turn to adjust the cooking time to 7 minutes. After the above steps, please do not press Start/+30Sec./Confirm and set the designated time as following steps: Press Clock/Pre-Set, the hour figures flash; Turn to adjust the hour figures (set time within 0-23). Press Clock/Pre-Set, the minute figures will flash. Turn to adjust the minute figures (set time within 0-59). Press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to confirm setting. Current time will be displayed, buzzer will ring twice when the time arrives, and the oven will start cooking automatically. 14

10. Auto Cooking Menu In standby mode, turn right to select a desired menu. (A-1 to A-8 will be displayed in order, menu shown in below table) Press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to confirm menu. Turn to choose the approximate food weight. Press Start/+30Sec./Confirm to start cooking and buzzer rings five times after cooking. 11. Child Lock Function Lock: In standby mode, press and hold Stop/Clear 3 seconds, buzzer will ring once, denoting the child lock is in function. will light up on the LED display. Inquiring Function In Microwave, Grill or Combination cooking process, press Micro/Grill/Combi., current cooking power will be displayed for 2-3 seconds. In Pre-Set status, press Clock/Pre-Set to inquire the designated time to start cooking. The Pre-Set time will flash for 2-3 seconds then resume current time display. In cooking process, press Clock/Pre-Set, the current time will be displayed for 2-3 seconds. 13. Attention When oven door is opened, unit will not start any cooking function by pressing Start/+30Sec. pad unless the oven door is well closed. When a cooking program has been set but no pressing Start/+30Sec. in 1 minute, the current setting will be cancelled. The buzzer will sound five times to remind you when cooking is finished It is forbidden to run the unit without any food inside. It is very dangerous.
