Introduction APL ( 声波 PE 管探测仪 ) Locate unmarked underground piping systems regardless of material type. Locates within regulatory requirements. Operates in soil, grass, concrete and asphalt ground covering.
How it works ( 工作原理 ) Transmit-Receive Set R T ground surface reflected wave Obstacle (pipe) APL is placed on the ground. Good coupling with the ground is required Transmitter sends 24 pulses or pings Strength, speed and duration of the reflected pings are recorded. Each activation of the transmitter is a slice A group of slices is a scan A group of scans is a survey
Operation( 操作步骤 ) Push forward here Step here Place foot on footpad Push handle forward (creates the coupling to the ground) Push and release the scan button. Failure to compress the actuator will cause the unit to beep 3 times and display retry. Unit will tell you go to the next slice in seconds. Move the selected distance Must do at least 5 slices for a scan Press Pipe Map to show results. Repeat scans in a grid pattern to get a complete survey
