1 - + Floor cleaning as a preventive measure against slips and falls on the same level Game sheets Four game sheets where you must identify the various tasks associated with floor cleaning and the order in which these tasks must be performed. Compare your answers with the correct version. B e w a r Technologique designs and carries out research and development projects in its laboratories for research companies and organizations with occasional needs in colloid and interface chemistry. e Good cleaning practices Nettoyant pour plancher The production of this document was made possible by the support and financial contribution of the Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et en sécurité du travail (IRSST). The IRSST contributes through research to the prevention of industrial accidents and occupational diseases as well as to the rehabilitation of affected workers. In this context, it subsidizes scientific research activities and projects. Version.0, november 007
2 Game No. : Floor preparation The table below presents different tasks associated with the preparation of the floor before it is cleaned. Associate the number of the picture with its corresponding task and give the order in which these tasks must be performed. Puddles of water or other liquids make the floor slippery. They must be removed with a squeegee or absorbent paper. Use a dust pan and absorbent paper to remove food spills. Save the mop for floor cleaning. Sweep the floor last to remove solid particles and dust. Be careful not to stir up a dust cloud! When counters are being cleaned, food contaminants can fall on the floor. It is therefore preferable to clean counters before sweeping the floor After most of the dirt has been cleaned up, the floor may look clean but it remains slippery because of the grease on it......
3 Game No. : Preparation of the cleaning solution The table below presents different tasks associated with the preparation of the cleaning solution.
