It was developed specially for cleaning heavily soiled railway vehicles in automatic exterior cleaning plants. 9 Exterior cleaner for summer RAPOX OS EXTREM Oxalic acid-based basic cleaner RAPOX OS EXTREM is an extremely effective and highly concentrated product for the mechanical basic cleaning of extremely soiled rail vehicles. Despite its outstanding cleaning performance, the materials used are not excessively burdened. RAPOX OS EXTREM is an oxalic acid-based basic cleaner which should only be used temporarily in unstaffed washing facilities. If mild alkaline products such as PUROL N or PUROL are used for interim cleaning, RAPOX OS EXTREM can be used in alternation. Or RAPOX OS EXTREM is only used at certain times of year when intensive cleaning is required (winter/spring). The avoidance of expensive manual basic cleaning reduces personnel costs. The phosphate-free formula, based on easily mineralised sulfamic acid, reduces sewage treatment costs since there is no phosphate precipitation during sewage preparation. The most important factors are choosing the right graffiti remover or graffiti cleaner, the most gentle method for the undersurface, the best possible protection of natural resources, maximum material compatibility and of course the safety of cleaning personnel in terms of health impact. 20 SC anti-graffiti system Guide to the professional removal of graffiti with the DR.SCHNELL SC anti-graffiti system Graffiti removal in 1 steps Step 1 Decant SC Anti-graffiti product from the canister into a compatible container. SC GEL is supplied in a compatible 1 kg bucket. Step 2 Test an inconspicuous area first to check results and compatibility! Step 3 Apply SC product to soiled surfaces using a paintbrush, brush, roller or white pad. For delicate surfaces such as paint, only use scratchfree brushes and pads (white). Step 4 Beware of dissolving graffiti colour! Step 5 Once the graffiti colour begins to run or curl, mechanically process using a brush or white pad. Step 6 Once colour has completely dissolved from the surface, remove residue with a squeegee or paper. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface. If required, treat with SC LIQUID to achieve the desired consistency. 2

It is therefore beneficial to repeat the treatment process several times (with interim rinsing). It is advisable to never leave the graffiti remover on surfaces for too long. Once the dissolving process starts, manually process and neutralise residual dirt on the surface. Depending on the surface, we recommend finishing with SC FLÜSSIG or SC SCHATTEN to remove all colour residue pore-deep from the surface. It should generally be ensured that residual dirt is collected and disposed of as special waste according to local regulations. Never drain residual dirt in the sewage system or soil! This can cause environmental damage due to the dye residues contained in it. Step 7 For delicate paint- surfaces, neutralise with water between work steps and dry the surface with a cloth or paper. Step 8 Then, repeat the steps until the graffiti colours are removed pore-deep. Step 9 Depending on the surface, it may be necessary to treat with SC SCHATTEN or SC FASSADEN GEL to remove the shadows left by the graffiti. Caution: SC SCHATTEN is extremely strong and work quickly! If required, neutralise intermittently with water to avoid surface damage! Step 1 Important: The last work step always involves rinsing (neutralising) with fresh, cold water. For textured surfaces in vehicles, blot-drying is recommended. 21

23 Graffiti remover SC GEL Gel graffiti remover odourless Product based on renewable raw materials NMP-/ NEP-, VOC-free SC GEL is ideal for removing graffiti caused by spray paints or touch-up pencils and felt tip pens from all interior and exterior smooth and porous surfaces. Due to its excellent adhesive properties, SC GEL is particularly suitable for cleaning vertical surfaces. It is characterised by its extremely low use of resources and fast-acting effect.
