Less water consumption Water consumption is decreased by increasing the area of settling sections. Weighing after washing, not before Olives separated from leaves and other materials are weighed with high precision and there is no extra personnel needed for this weighing. Crushing process is assured to be done efficiently with especially hardened hammer tips. With the moving screen, wear is minimized and screen life is lengthened. 5 3 MALAXER UNIT Easiest way to process batch lots With separate sections of the malaxer that works individually, the risk of mixing batches to each other is eliminated. Each section has a capacity of 750 kg and completely made of stainless steel. Now it is easy to keep track of batches Our malaxers have special observation glass for each section with illumination and heat resistances to provide a clear sight of the sections that takes interest of olive producers and provide easy usage. With digital LEDs that put into use by HAUS, the process steps for each producer s harvest can be followed easily. Efficient malaxing There are separate water jackets for hot water around every section. Thus, efficient heat transfer is assured. Double-sided mixing is provided by specially angled mixing screw for maximum efficiency. PASTE KNEADING Everything is under control Every controlling arm that dispatches olive paste to malaxer sections is equipped with a safety lock and shut off switch. If an arm is turned on when another was already on, the system stops completely. There is a probe that prevents crushed paste to spill over the sections of malaxer in every division. Full automation If requested, distribution arms are equipped with automatic arms so the operator can control these arms from a main control unit. Cleanness of malaxer divisions effects oil quality It is provided that each division is cleaned after the olive paste is sent pumped to decanter with two-line water washing system. 7 4 DECANTER CENTRIFUGE Maximum oil quality by ability to press with no water addition and cold pressing By shutting of the black water discharge machine works 2-phase increasing the phenol values of produced oil and minimizing energy (heat) and water consumption. Maximum attention in materials choosing All parts in contact with olive paste and components are made of stainless steel in accordance with food regulations. Maximum endurance Maximum endurance is assured by application of tungsten carbide, which is resistant to 800 tonnes / square meter pressure, specially on to the screw conveyor. Maximum control with planetary type gearbox The gearbox that produces the differential speed is especially produced by HAUS. By this authentic design, a breakdown can be repaired without completely disassembling the bowl group. Maximum yield with special design co-current flow screw conveyor Co-current flow application provides long hold and new generation screw conveyor opens the gap between its competitors (options according to the characteristics of regional distribution of olive types) with high yield. 8 5 CENTRIFUGE SEPARATOR All parts in contact with olive oil and black water are made of stainless steel. All parts of bowl group are made of forged stainless steel. By the inverter connected to motor, bowl group experiences a smooth startup. The level of olive oil in black water is decreased below world standards by the adjustable diaphragms. In HAUS separators, semi-automatic and full automatic cleaning options are available. Thus, (separator cleaning process) cleaning can be done either by a simple arm, by pushing button or fully automatically with time adjustment. 9 6 HEATING UNIT It is designed specially for olive oil facilities. Heating Unit that uses solid fuels like dry pomace and pomace seed is fed automatically. By the exchanger unit the most efficient heat transfer is assured and fuel saving is maximized. Heating Unit and exchanger group is used with water softening tube to prevent calcinations because of tap water. 11 ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS APPROPRIATE WORLD STANDARTS SENSITIZING CONSISTED 2 PHASE POMACE TO THE ENVIRONMENT As it is known, 2-phase continuous systems extract blackwater and pomace together. The extracted pomace has 65% humidity and it has greater amount of humidity than the three phase systems. The facilities should store 2-phase pomace in another lagoon or silo. HAUS offers various solutions for whom wants to evaluate 2- phase pomace. The extracted wet pomace from 2-phase system, goes directly to Pomace Seed Separator without additional water process. By this way, we get higher calorie from pomace seeds and increases its market value. Separated pomace from its seed; goes to Continuous Pomace Extraction Facility for second extraction. The purpose of this step is dewatering the pomace and on the other hand, retrieving the remaining oil of pomace. This process in turns; for the second time, pomace kneading in the Malaxer Machine (HAUS Horizontal and Modular Malaxers has exceptional performance for running continuous systems). Thus, pomace gets ready for extracting the remaining oil grains. After that, it transfers with mono pump to the 3-phase Decanter -made for especially pomace extraction. In this process, the amount of the extracted oil depends on the previous processes. But in normal conditions, it is expecting to get 1-2% oil from pomace. The obtained oil after these steps, is more acidic and lower quality than the first extracted oil. The extracted pomace is more dry and also water output of the first Decanter and Separator extraction, is being used for feeding the second Decanter extraction with warming. Blackwater amount of output is decreasing about 50% than 3-phase system. ADVANTAGES OF SYSTEM Obtaining dry pomace in 3-phases. Provides better seeds for sale. Extracts 1 or 2 kg more oil per 100 kg olives. Reducing the black water still 50%.
