15 5 litres A blend of mild, non-perfumed, non-tainting soaps containing a recognised antimicrobial agent that is suitable for use in hotels, schools, restaurants, building services cleaning, leisure outlets and washroom facilities. DIRECTIONS FOR USE Fill the reservoir in the dispenser with liquid hand soap. Pressing the button on the dispenser releases a small amount into the palm of the hand. Add a little warm water and build up a lather to lift dirt and soils. Rinse with warm water. Always dry hands thoroughly after use. Always wash hands following handling raw food, refuse or visiting the toilet. Ensure you wet your hands first then apply the soap. Clean in between your fingers and finger nails properly. Rinse off all the soap with clean water and dry with a paper towel. Soap residues on skin may cause an irritation with prolonged contact. Ensure soap dispensers and vending nozzles are kept hygienically clean. 25 INVESTING IN CUSTOMER FIELD SERVICE RESOURCES In the UK & Ireland we directly employ an experienced team of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) in strategic locations, to ensure we are never more than two hours drive from any customer s premises. By listening to our clients, we realised years ago that they didn t want to see single category manufacturer sales personnel, because our distributor partners were providing this multi-category resource already. This team is supported by a field based manager and a dedicated head office team, providing administration support and call coordination services. Our CSRs call on a predetermined collection of national account and independent distributor end user premises on weekly, monthly or quarterly basis, depending on agreed contractual obligations. As a result, we complete thousands of face-to-face client service calls every month and are one of the few companies that have a dedicated KPI for this crucial part of the business. Our CSRs are the life-blood of the company and are one of the main reasons we continue to retain business over long periods of time. Irrespective of the direct or distributor based selling model, what our customers want to see most are friendly, service focussed technical consultants - to troubleshoot, to check that equipment is working correctly, to ensure our chemicals are achieving optimum cleaning results, to check that the correct chemical stocks are on site in the right quantities and to offer chemical safety training on every visit. We have invested significantly over the last decade to providing a reliable and proactive field support package, for businesses where service matters most. By recruiting the right people, and providing them with the right resources and training, we believe we have one of the best field service teams in the industry. We have also embraced fully the benefits of digital communications technology to dramatically improve our client support package delivered by our field CSRs - both to our own contractual and our distributor s end-user clients. Although we use off-the-shelf communications devices, the call planning and digital reporting software we use is bespoke and unique to the Arpal Group. Our digital Visit Report has been designed in such a way that the CSR cannot leave the site until each question has been answered and verified by the client. The verified information is then timed, dated and locked down.. CSR is equipped with a pre-loaded tablet or Smart mobile device with the Arpal App, which, when accessed by a CSR asks a range of service-related questions about the site they are visiting. 26 CHEMICAL AUTO DOSING AND ENGINEERING SUPPORT The Arpal Group promotes, provides and maintains the use of manual and electronic controlled dilution systems wherever possible to control the consumption and costs of core high-volume chemical products. We have experience in mobilising all types of multisite contracts and our disciplined and well planned survey, installation and training programme works like a well-oiled machine. Providing an efficient, professional and reliable engineering service is one of the key reasons that our end-user customers and distributor partners continue to show such faith in the Arpal Group. We have worked tirelessly over the years to build a reliable and competent engineering capability which can handle any type or size of cleaning chemical contract. If our dosing systems are not working properly then our chemicals cannot be used effectively. This is why our Head Office Engineering Services department centrally manages and coordinates a team of fully trained electrical engineers. We utilise the services of specialist chemical dosing contractors, and have superb long-term partnerships with these companies. This provides us with a level of geographical cover that would be difficult to achieve with employed engineers. Our customer satisfaction index shows that all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently within 48 hours anywhere in the UK, but in many cases the same or next day. Wherever we operate, we eliminate the hassle factor of changing chemical supplier by taking ownership of the changeover and making it a seamless transition for the customer. In many instances we mobilise during the night to prevent significant delays or dislocation to our customer s operation. We also take care of our competitors out-going equipment by carefully removing it and boxing it up for collection. Because our contractor partners have seen the benefits of our digital reporting platform, they too have wired into this, allowing us to pin-point the precise location and journey plan of engineers, and assessing how quickly we can respond to the most urgent call-outs. By reporting and logging work on a real-time basis, our engineering department is aware of the current status of all outstanding work. We also utilise a phone text appointment system allowing the team to text or our customers a reminder 48 hours before a site survey, equipment installation or breakdown service call. 27 STAFF SAFETY AND APPLICATION TRAINING We invest considerably in our training programmes and resource centres to ensure that key messages are clearly understood and easily put into practice for our distributor partners and end user customers. It is in our mutual interest to ensure that users of our products and chemical dosing equipment know how to use them safely and effectively. Training in the safe and effective use of our chemicals is vital, and we have developed a comprehensive selection of support and reference materials to enhance our face-to-face training sessions. These valuable reference tools offer guidance to help our customers eliminate common mistakes, improve cleaning performance and ensure that all staff members are working in as safe an environment as possible. Arpal Group has adopted the EU CLP product labelling system which ensures that all Arpal Blue Box products are labelled uniformly across the group of companies. Product labelling now contain much more product information, application advice and detailed health & safety information than ever before. From a training perspective, the Arpal Group product labels almost become mobile Product Guidance Sheets in themselves. The front label provides application and descriptive information, with the secondary back label dedicated to comprehensive health and safety information. All products are supported by CLP compliant Safety Data Sheets and Product Guidance Sheets. Thousands of people are already using our e-learning course, and yet our calls and face-to face training sessions have not diminished. This effectively means that the Arpal Group is delivering more training than ever before, allowing our enduser businesses to have more staff members trained and more frequently too. The course covers the following 5 key aspects: 1. Identifying hazardous products and the CLP pictograms and importance of reading the chemical label. To help our customers and distributor partners comply with their COSHH responsibilities, Arpal Group provides a free-to-use online Chemical Safety Course. The 30-minute interactive course takes participants through the necessary steps to understand all key aspects of using chemicals safely in the workplace. The course has been established to help improve the quality of the company s safety training, standardise key messages and significantly cut training delivery costs. The course is far more flexible than organising group training sessions and is much more informative, using excellent imagery and a professional voice-over to reinforce the message. There is also an interactive element to the course for users to gauge knowledge retention. We know how much time and resource COSHH safety training sessions can take up, so we now offer our customers an alternative way to access chemical safety training and allow our CSRs to focus on more practical training activities. These include effective product use, chemical dispenser training, troubleshooting advice and satisfying any other customer requirements. Another advantage of our e-learning course is that individuals can complete the course in their own time rather than through pre-organised group sessions. 2. Helping to reduce the risk of harm by using personal protective equipment and the use of controlled dispensing systems. 3. Understanding the golden rules when handling commercial cleaning detergents. 4. To recognise the dangers of using chemical products inappropriately and the potential dangers of mixing products together. 5. What to do in the initial steps in the event of an accidental spill or splash of hazardous chemical. The course focuses heavily on helping users understand the CLP chemical safety labelling system.
