2 History of Dirtbusters Oven Cleaning Supplies Ltd. Dirtbusters is a family-run business that has been in the cleaning industry for over 25 years. The company was set up by director Gavin Finch in his home town of Folkestone. From carpet cleaning in the local area, Gavin soon recognised the opportunity to introduce oven cleaning onto his services. Oven cleaning proved popular, the only down-side was the lack of suppliers along with the limited cleaning chemicals available. It was this that led Dirtbusters to enter the supply-side of the oven cleaning industry. Our Aim At Dirtbusters Oven Cleaning Supplies Ltd we have used our experience and expertise to manufacture, develop and distribute our own non-caustic oven cleaning chemicals, and top of the range oven cleaning dip tanks. Our aim is to provide training, supplies and advice to the cleaning industry. We offer training and packages for anyone looking to start up in the oven cleaning industry without any experience, or to those looking for a top-up on knowledge and advice. With this training, we provide business advice and offer our support during and after the training programme at Dirtbusters HQ. The business advice during training includes; how to get your oven cleaning business up and running; customer acquisition and retention; marketing; advertising; and everything else you will need to know to set up and run a successful, independent oven cleaning business. Gavin runs the training himself, and is available for support after the training as well. Dirtbusters started off as a self-employed business, therefore, we know how daunting it can be to set up business. Our aim is to provide as much support and advice throughout and after training, to make this new venture as smooth as possible for you. 2

3 Training With our years of experience in the cleaning industry, we have developed our oven cleaning techniques into a fine art. By creating our own methods, paired with the production and constant development of our noncaustic cleaning products, we have been able to reduce the time it takes to give a professional oven clean. This makes oven cleaning much more efficient and practical when setting up an independent oven cleaning business. Whether you are thinking of setting up a new business, or you are already in the industry but struggle with getting the finish you desire, or would like to reduce the amount of time spent on each job, we can help you. Business start-up is one of our specialities. The training packages for the complete novice are designed to provide as much information and advice as possible to prepare you to professionally clean ovens in a profitable, safe and economical way. We have now trained over 700 trainees from all over the world, and have loved hearing about their success. If you would like to hear about some of these stories, you can visit our blog at The Training Day The training options are 1, 2 or 3 days training. A breakdown of each day is as follows: Day 1: This is the theory day at Dirtbusters HQ training centre. We will go through the process and techniques on different types of ovens and hobs set up in our centre. Our set of different ovens allows us to train you how to remove, split apart and replace all the various types of oven doors. You can be prepared for any type of oven. Day 2 & 3: These are the practical days. They are spent out on the road with our technician Kevin. You will get to experience what a usual day is like for an oven cleaner, experiencing and completing different jobs, with the support of our experienced technician. This is a great chance to get hands on experience and seek further advice from our very experienced cleaner Kevin. You will cover: -How to inspect an oven before any work begins to spot potential problems and faults in the condition of any oven. 3

-How to set up the equipment. -How to protect the work area so as not to leave any mess in the customer s home. -How to remove all cleanable parts of the oven/hob/extractor.

-Learn how to clean stainless steel without scratching it, as well as the oiling of the stainless steel to achieve a like-new finish.

We also provide you with experienced advice on van signs, Google Adwords, customer retention, loyalty and acquisition. Dirtbusters Training Centre In the training centre we have all of the types of oven doors. You will learn how to remove, split apart and replace all of these doors. We have electric and gas hobs and extractors. We even have an Aga front panel for training. Your first day is spent in the training centre gaining practical experience. 4

We also offer start up packages that do not include training, should you prefer to only purchase the equipment and products. The dip tank is one of the most important pieces of equipment you will use in your oven cleaning business, and therefore the most expensive piece of equipment. This is a vital piece of equipment to clean ovens professionally as it is where you will leave all the innards of an oven and hob to soak and clean. The better your dip tank, generally the quicker and better the job will be. We have designed our own dip tanks to be used with environmentally friendly cleaning products. Our dip tanks are designed for practicality and efficiency, as we know these two elements will help you to fit in more jobs in a day and increase your turnover. There are a range of different dip tanks available in each package, but you can mix and match and/or purchase these separately. The packages shown below are not set in stone. Should you wish to add or take away certain products, you may do so. We can tailor our packages around you and your budget. 5

8 Dirtbusters Van Mounted Dip Tanks Our top of the range van mounted dip tanks have been designed by Gavin, the founder of Dirtbusters, himself. Gavin has used years of experience to develop a professional oven cleaning tank that utilises practical modifications not currently found on any other van mounted dip tanks. Tank features: -Made with 2mm, 304 grade stainless steel for durability and longevity kilo watt gas burner with flame failure device. -Four adjustable levelling legs. This allows you to do your job on any hill or uneven surface. -Watertight neoprene seals and adjustable toggle latches, ensuring no spillage when on the move. -Sliding gas burner tray for ease of use and wind protection. -Twin gate valves for quick and easy drainage. -Steam outlet valve, so you can leave the tank to do its job safely. 8

14 Electric Tanks Dirtbusters unique design electric van mounted oven cleaning tank. This tank is designed for use with our Bio Oven Cleaner in conjunction with our Commercial Oven Cleaning Dip Tank Powder. The only CE certified high heat electric tank on sale in the UK! Dirtbusters unique design stainless steel tank, in single or double elements. Our electric tanks are made from 2mm 304 grade, double skinned and insulated, stainless steel. The electric tanks we produce are unique, because unlike plastic electric tanks, Dirtbusters stainless steel electric tanks can withstand high heat. This allows oven cleaners to maximise their cleaning results. The tanks are heated by industrial elements (3KW), so it can reach 100degrees. It also comes with 2 x 25m waterproof extension cable and waterproof connector + RCD plug. Our electric van mounted tank has internal seams and a neoprene seal. The lid is securely clamped down when in transit via adjustable toggle latches, and the tank contents securely contained. The tank has a 28mm locking gate valve for easy draining of the tank. It also has a perforated base covering the elements. This is fully removable for easy cleaning. We recommend the tank is used with 80 litres of solution, but it will take up to 100 litres. Bio oven cleaner is the safe and effective way to clean domestic ovens. Bio oven cleaner works by using a carbon and grease digesting microbial treatment to break down carbon deposits, instead of harmful caustic soda chemicals. When used with the blade and scraper method allows professionals to quickly and safely clean domestic ovens. Bio oven cleaner can be used on racks, grill pans, back plates, fans, glass, self-cleaning panels, pan supports, and electric hobs and is safe to use on aluminium gas hob rings. Bio oven cleaner works equally well in the oven or heated dip tank where deposits are released allowing for easy removal of baked on carbon. o Bio-degradable o Non-caustic o Non-toxic o No fumes o For professional oven cleaners APPLICATION OF OVEN CLEANER: Dilute 200ml per litre of warm water and apply using trigger sprayer (follow health and safety guidelines). To be used in conjunction with the professional oven cleaning blade and scraper method. Warm the oven to 80 degrees, first blade door, glass and shell. Apply bio oven cleaner using trigger sprayer. Blade again and remove excess carbon using stainless steel scourer. Repeat as necessary removing any stubborn deposits with a cleaning paste (i.e. astonish or equivalent. Wipe clean with damp micro fibre cloth and clean water. Polish with dry clean micro fibre cloth.) DIP TANK SOLUTION: - dilute 250ml per 10 litres of hot water. Place racks, grill pans, pan supports, burner rings in solution. Heat for 30mins using dirtbusters bio oven cleaning tank. (Wear eye protection and heat resistant gauntlet gloves). 15

Oven Cleaning Paste We have developed a new paste that has a much higher cutting action than the standard pastes on the market today, such as Astonish.

It is not suitable to be used on stainless steel, glass or easily scratched materials, because of the pastes thicker, grainier consistency.

It is brilliant on hard carbon deposits and pitted hard to reach areas of the oven. This paste is intended for use on the inside of the oven. It is not suitable to be used on stainless steel, glass or easily scratched materials, because of the pastes thicker, grainier consistency. Used in conjunction with your standard oven paste this product will save you valuable time and give you an incredible finish. You will be using less product for each job and after the initial investment you will save money. This product is a must try. This is equivalent to 14 tubs of Astonish. Commercial Dip Tank Powder & Bio-Booster Commercial dip tank powder has been developed for the cleaning of commercial kitchens (oven racks, hob tops, extractor filters.) It dissolves carbon cutting down time on commercial kitchen jobs. It is a stronger alternative to our bio oven cleaner It can also be used as a booster, when 1 scoop is added to our bio oven cleaner it significantly improves performance on those nightmare domestic oven jobs. Our powder is noncaustic so safe to use on aluminium. 16
