Choose from the Tilt&Slide Patio S and Patio Z range, the parallel Opening&Sliding hardware Patio PS and the Fold&Slide hardware Patio This hardware can be used in timber profiles as well as PVC or aluminium profiles, thus covering a wide application range and fulfilling individual customer requirements. All Patio hardware system versions are compatible with the Roto MVS magnetic locking and opening monitoring system. It can be integrated simply and promptly into the hardware at any time. Connected to an alarm system, the Roto MVS sends a signal if windows or doors are not properly locked, or are opened by force. The new Patio Lift has been developed especially for large Lift&Slide doors made of aluminium profiles, with sash weights of up to 300 kg. Patio Life, the convenient hardware system for Lift&Slide elements made of timber, timber/aluminium and PVC completes the extensive range of Patio products. 2

4 Patio PS Convenient hardware for parallel Opening&Sliding elements Patio PS: Everything speaks for them Roto Patio PS is our new hardware system for parallel Opening&Sliding windows and doors with a sash height of up to 2.35 m and a sash weight of 160 kg. In this case the sash is not tilted when opening it, but rather retracted parallel and slid to the side. An ideal solution for spacesaving balcony and terrace doors or windows. Those who set high standards in terms of operating convenience, safety and functionality, while also attaching great importance to aesthetics do not need to look any further Patio PS provides the perfect hardware solution. 4

5 The system is easy to install and extremely versatile An innovative spring damper unit ensures that all of the sash formats are easy to open and close with virtually no force It is suitable for timber, timber/ aluminium and PVC profiles, and can also be installed in standard Tilt&Turn sashes With its large retracting distance of 125 mm, the hardware can also be used for window systems with triple glazing and it covers 98% of all possible sash installation depths. Guaranteed smooth operation: the bogie Systematic, comfort oriented scissors-slider Our innovative bogie technology ensures that both light and heavy sliding elements can be moved very easily and comfortably. A spring located in the rear bogie stores the energy that was applied when the window sash was opened. When it is closed, this energy is released thus pulling the sash into the frame. It does not need to be pushed shut. The smooth, pleasantly quiet movement of the window sash is assured by the large, particularly durable rollers The new, controlled scissors-slider with integrated spring accumulator ensures that the sash runs smoothly when it is being closed, and that it is pulled exactly into the required position. The integrated damper prevents any jamming. 5

6 Patio PS Useful functions, aesthetic design, simple, economical installation Air exchange and security as standard: the night ventilation Roto Patio PS plays its part in creating a healthy interior climate while also preventing the growth of mould and rooms from overheating in the summer. This is because profile-specific night ventilation strikers enable highly-efficient night ventilation to be achieved: simply turn the handle 180, and you re done! The standard version (RC1) is equipped with four night ventilation strikers, guaranteeing the unimpeded exchange of air at all of the sash edges. Security grade RC2 is achieved through the use of additional strikers, both in the night ventilation and closed sash positions. In contrast to a tilted sash, the night ventilation position is hardly noticeable from outside, which in turn increases the level of burglary protection even further. It all comes down to a perfect look The discrete, slim cover caps help to achieve an aesthetically discerning window and door design. They are available in five colours just like all of the other visible components such as the handles and tracks. Another highlight is that Patio PS brings a lot of light into the room as this hardware enables extremely narrow profiles to be fitted without any problems. Clear passage greater comfort A frame clearance of 36.5 mm ensures that the height of the threshold is extremely low thus not obstructing access between the interior and exterior space. The benefit in terms of security All the components are made of robust materials and therefore guarantee a high level of stability. Security mushroom cams and strikers that are installed as standard, circumferential central locking systems and continuous gaskets guarantee that the parallel Opening&Sliding door is not just secure, but that it is also permanently sealed. 6

8 Patio S/Z Large and heavy Tilt&Slide elements: Easy sliding Patio: the window space-saving solution If you would like a large terrace door in your apartment but cannot have a Turn-Only sash, because you have plants or decorative objects at the window, then a Tilt&Slide door is the recommended solution. It provides the usual ventilation in tilt position and aesthetically matches other windows. Both the functional standard Patio S and convenient Patio Z with integrated positive control ensure that small and large windows can easily be tilted and slid to the side in a space-saving manner. Tilt&Slide doors are particularly recommended for balcony and terrace doors, extensions/glass buildings and conservatory applications. In line with current architectural trends, floor-to-ceiling sashes of up to 2.70 m can be implemented as well as heavy thermal insulation elements with triple glazing and a sash weight of up to 200 kg. The discreet, slimline cover caps emphasise the modern look of your Tilt&Slide doors and thus meet highest aesthetic requirements. The cover caps are available in five different colours and can be colour-matched with the handle and cover profile. New bogie concept with maximum roll diameter The high-quality bogies, easy-toclean guide striker and dirt-free guide block guarantee long term fault-free functionality and enable convenient operation of your Tilt&Slide system. New: The particularly smooth running and quiet rollers with a large diameter of 28 mm also facilitate the operation and are more durable thanks to lower wear rates. 10 Patio Z Patio Z Tilt&Slide doors: For ultimate ease of operation The positive control function makes opening Tilt&Slide elements extremely easy If you attach great importance to convenient ease of operation of your balcony door, then the new Patio 160/200 Z Tilt&Slide hardware is ideal for you. Z stands for positive control, which means that automatic tilting is activated when the handle is turned. The integrated positive-control function moves the sash into the tilting and locking position so that the sash does not need to be pushed manually. Operating heavy Lift&Slide doors with a sash weight of up to 400 kg is now child s play. Patio Life enables large window elements of up to 6.5 m to be used allowing lots of light into your rooms and creating a special living environment. Patio Life encompasses the noble design that appeals to the taste of demanding customers. The main feature: The horizontal gasket components are controlled via the handle and reliably seal the door completely. Security components that are integrated as standard offer an excellent level of security and provide effective burglary protection. Convenience thanks to electrical drive unit The drive technology for Roto Patio Life timber and timber/aluminium profiles allows fully-automatic, extremely convenient operation of large and heavy sliding doors weighing up to 250 kg. This means that sliding, locking and secure night ventilation can be completed without effort and pleasantly quiet either via a switch on the wall or via remote operation. The easy-to-install drive (plug-andplay) is not fitted on the sash or frame, but is instead hidden under the screed in the floor. Before the door or window can be slid to the side, the entire sash must be lifted. Patio Life s unique technology makes this exertion unnecessary. Instead of raising the sash during the opening process, only the gaskets are moved and are then simply lowered again when closed. And all of this is completed via the handle. With so much ease of operation, Roto is well ahead of the competition. Security components with mushroom cams are even integrated in the basic version of our premium Patio Life products as standard, providing effective anti-jemmy protection and thus meeting the highest security and burglary protection requirements. A further advantage is that Patio Life can easily be equipped with electronic components for monitoring the opening and closing process and for burglary and hazard warnings. 26 Patio 6080 Not only a visually perfect solution Functionality and beauty all in one Perfect protection against damp Extremely variable Thanks to the optimised bogie technology and pin-guided rollers, the Patio Fold&Slide hardware convinces with its perfectly smooth operation. The slimline, flat and powder-coated components are available in many colours and make individual designs possible. Application range of Patio 6080 Humidity can occur due to the differences in temperature within the threshold area of door leaves. In order to prevent this, Patio has a thermally-broken threshold and improved gasket system. An additional cover strip with anti-slide grooves protects against soiling in the passage area. The hinges can be steplessly adjusted by ±3 mm with an Allen key. Variable fixing locations enable optimum adaptation to the profile system. The system can also be adjusted to accommodate different overlap heights.
