Not every request for QS items are actually required by our customers in 24 hours. To avoid confusion and ensure customer satisfaction, Star strongly recommends submitting a separate order for QS items that are truly required for shipment in the proscribed 24-hour timeframe. 3. A maximum of ten (10) QS items per order for next business day shipment. 4. Per calendar week a maximum of ten (10) QS items may be guaranteed for next business day shipment per Customer. 5. A maximum of three (3) identical QS items per order for next business day shipment. 6. Items are guaranteed as listed, without variation to electrical requirements, gas type or construction. 7. Star will designate the freight carrier for QS shipments. Customer designated carriers cannot guarantee timely arrival Customers on credit hold or exceeding credit limit with Star do not qualify for QS shipments. 9. 11 FEATURES GUIDE GRIDDLE FEATURES 1 VS. 3/4 PLATES Plate thickness helps drive surface temperature performance and consistency. One-inch thick plates retain more heat for faster recovery, and allow thermostat probes to be mounted deep within the plate for improved performance. 3/4 plates have bottommounted temperature probes only. PLATE DEPTH 20.5, 24 or 30 Deeper plates offer more cooking area and usable space. Balance your production needs with size constraints in the kitchen. Different depths available on select model families. CHROME SURFACE In addition to their exceptional mirror finish, chrome griddle plates don t require seasoning with oil, clean up faster, reduce kitchen heat load, and nearly eliminate flavor transfer. GROOVING Grooved griddle plates allow sear marks typically associated with charbroilers, without the need for another piece of equipment. Specify how much you need, and where. PILOT SAFETY Direct Spark Ignition lights the burner as demanded by the thermostat, eliminating the need for a standing pilot burner. Requires electric power. THERMOSTAT OPTIONS SOLID STATE THERMOSTAT Electronic controls with thermocouples embedded in the plate material react almost instantly to surface temperature changes. We ask them to follow our policy and to remain in good standing. The program is in place to solidify brand equity and ensure our dealer partners are as competitive and profitable with our brands as possible. MINIMUM ADVERTISED PRICING The Minimum Advertised Price is 50% off LIST. All advertised, displayed, or listed prices on the Internet or in print of Star Group products in any format on the Dealer s Internet website, or Internet-based account, are subject to this policy. Refer to the most current Star Group Price Book(s), including amendments as may develop between printings. MAP POLICY Our policy was created to develop strong brand equity, which is beneficial to our company and those of our Dealer partners. Dealers who have found additional ways to represent lower available pricing for our products are working against our policy, and working against development of our brand equity. Pricing for the product may not be found or identified by any means via the Dealer website, publication or Internet search engine. Excludes any suggestion of pricing lower than MAP, including but not reserved to the terms best, exclusive and lower. In-Store Advertising Merchandising such as Point-of-Sale, shelf-talkers, pricing tags, end cap displays and window displays. Within the guidelines as written, a Dealer is free to sell any product at any price. ENFORCEMENT OF MAP POLICY The Star Group makes no exception for lack of awareness, or timeliness, in regards to enforcement of MAP policy. All pricing changes are communicated to the market at least 60-days before implementation. It is the responsibility of our Dealer partners to be aware of these publications and integrate them into their business model in a complete and timely manner. The Star Group reviews Internet pricing using an outside 3rd Party monitoring service to assure consistent adherence to this policy by all Dealers. In addition, documented and verified pricing excursions reported in good faith by other Star Group Dealers may be considered as violations. If and when a violation of this policy is noted, the affected Dealer will be contacted and given two business days to make the necessary changes and return to compliance. This applies to all Violation levels. In the event of extenuating circumstances, reasonable accommodations can be made at the discretion of the Star Group. Dealers violating MAP Policy over any 12 month period will be penalized as follows: 1st Violation Warning via phone AND 2nd Violation Formal written warning on company letterhead, and/or via from a Regional Manager and Executive. 3rd Violation All in-house Star Group orders held until compliance is verified Forfeiture of all base rebates for that quarter (or preceding quarter) by the Dealer 4th Violation Loss of discount, marketing and all rebates accrued, and future rebates earned in that fiscal year. This applies whether the dealer is a member of a Buying Group or independently representing the brand. Final Violation - Account with all Star Group brands is terminated.
