Introduction H2Go Carry Can is the worlds fastest unpowered, portable water filter. Instantly producing safe, clean drinking water at up to 6 litres per minute, from any dirty water source.

2 Introduction H2Go Carry Can is the worlds fastest unpowered, portable water filter. Instantly producing safe, clean drinking water at up to 6 litres per minute, from any dirty water source. Ideal for use in remote locations where access to safe water can not be relied upon, this carry can will produce up to 30,000ltrs of drinking water enough daily drinking water for a family of five, for three years. Designed to be easy to transport, the unit comes with a shoulder strap for use when empty, and has three separate handles making it easy to carry by an individual or between two people when full.

4 How to use your Carry Can? I. Priming the ultrafiltration cartridge Before using the H2GO carry can the ultrafiltration cartridge must be primed first. To get started priming process is describe by the steps below: Step 1 Remove the pump assembly from the carry can s inlet port and fill water to the top using the port with water from any clean source. Step 2 Ensure the tap & cap assembly is secured/tightened using the bone spanner tool and turn the tap on open position. Ensure the tap knob is in upright position when turning Open position Tap orientation bone spanner tool

5 How to use your Carry Can? Step 3 Fasten the pump assembly back into place and allow the filter to be soaked for at least 5 minutes. Step 4 Unlock the pump handle by turning the pump cap and pump several until the water starts to flow.

6 How to use your Carry Can? Step 5 The first 3 liters of water is advised to be discarded and the carry can is ready to use. Important!!! It is not advised to excessively pump your carry can. The carry can tank is a pressurized container and needs to be handled with caution. Once pressurized you can turn the tap on & off a few times without constant pumping the unit. While tap is on, pumping several times if you require an increase in the flow rate.

8 How to use your Carry Can? III. Routine use of H2GO Carry Can With the ultrafiltration cartridge primed you can now use and start drinking from the carry can. Below instructions & illustrations are intended for the routine use as you get familiar with the carry can FILL the carry can - Dismantle the hand pump assembly. - Fill with water to the top. - Ensure tap is in closed position PUMP the carry can - Pressurized the carry can by pumping several times. - Push the pump cap down and turn to lock the pump assembly. COLLECT water - Turn the tap open - Collect and enjoy fresh and clean water.

9 Maintenance of the Carry Can? IV. Care & maintenance of your carry can In order to prolong the performance and service life of the carry can, the following suggestions and recommendations are crucial and must be taken into consideration by the end user. Choose water source wisely Always consider the water source available. Although the carry can works on filthy and dirty water it is best to chose a source that will not clog the UF filter. The dirtier the water source, the faster the UF filter will finish its service life. Coarse particles & abrasive matters It is advised to watch out for the coarse particles and abrasive matters that might come with the water source. These items should be discarded to prevent damage on the UF filter and prolong its service life. For water filtration only H2GO carry can is designed to filter water only. Other liquids such as carbonated drinks, alcohol and salt water will not work with the carry can. Preventing damage on UF filter The end user is advised to refrain subjecting the UF filter to shock and contaminating the end face filter. Inserting any sharp objects and other forms of mishandling will compromise and incur serious damages on the UF filter.

10 Maintenance of the Carry Can? IV. Care & maintenance of your carry can Proper handling of carry can Do not subject the carry can to extreme impact and shock/drops specially when fully filled. This will cause serious damage to the unit and other components. Cleaning the UF filter Dismantle the filter from the carry can and wash it with running water or soaking it in a basin while gently removing the residues caught from the surface of the membrane. It is recommended not to touch the surface of the membrane shown on below illustration as it will cause contamination issues with the UF filter. Refrain from touching this face!!!

Possible solutions : - Check the cap if it sits properly on the large threaded opening. - Use the bone spanner tool to tighten the cap further it is loose. - Unscrew the cap and inspect if the seals are damaged. If the seal are in good condition try to placing the seal inside the cap before closing with the UF filter inserted inside the carry can. Water leaking on the hand pump Possible solutions : - Check the hand pump if it sits properly on the small threaded opening. - Try to tighten the hand pump further it is loose. - Unscrew the hand pump and inspect if the seals are damaged and it is seated properly underneath the hand pump cap. Troubleshooting Flow rate from tap is reduced Possible solutions : - The UF filter is nearly on its service life and eventually the filter will not discharge water despite continuous pumping on the unit. - Highly suggested to have the UF filter replaced by a new replacement.
