The ater filter must be cleaned on a regular base. See "9.. Service maintenance" on page.. Pressure gauge The pressure gauge allos readout of the ater pressure in the ater circuit.. Flo sitch The flo sitch checks the flo in the ater circuit protects the heat echanger against freezing the pump against damage.. Pump The pump circulates the ater in the ater circuit.. Verify the appropriate installation location WARNING Be sure to take adequate measures in order to prevent that the unit is used as a shelter by small animals. Make sure the outdoor unit is NOT directly eposed to sea inds. This is to prevent corrosion caused by high levels of salt in the air, hich might shorten the life of the unit. Install the outdoor unit aay from direct sea inds. Eample: Behind the building b Small animals making contact ith electrical parts can cause malfunctions, smoke or fire. Please instruct the customer to keep the area around the unit clean clear. a c This is a class A product. In a domestic environment this product may cause radio interference in hich case the user may be required to take adequate measures. CAUTION Appliance not accessible to the general public, install it in a secured area, protected from easy access. If the outdoor unit is eposed to direct sea inds, install a indbreaker. Mind the installation space requirements hen installing the indbreaker. This unit is suitable for installation in a commercial light industrial environment General precautions on installation location d Select an installation site that meets the folloing requirements: The foundation must be strong enough to support the eight of the unit. The floor must be flat to prevent vibrations noise generation to have sufficient stability. The space around the unit is adequate for maintenance servicing (refer to "8.. Installation space" on page 8). The space around the unit allos sufficient air circulation. There is no danger of fire due to leakage of inflammable gas. The equipment is not intended for use in a potentially eplosive atmosphere. Select the location of the unit in such a ay that the sound generated by the unit does not disturb anyone, the location is selected according the applicable legislation. Take minimum maimum ater volumes installation heights into account, refer to "8.9. Water piping ork" on page 9. Take care that in the event of a ater leak, ater cannot cause any damage to the installation space surroundings. Do not install in the folloing locations. Locations here sulphurous acids other corrosive gases may be present in the atmosphere. Copper piping soldered joints may corrode, causing refrigerant to leak. Locations here a mineral oil mist, spray or vapour may be present in the atmosphere. Plastic parts may deteriorate fall off or cause ater leakage. Locations here equipment that produces electromagnetic aves is found. The electromagnetic aves may cause the control system to malfunction, preventing normal operation. Locations here flammable gases may leak, here thinner, gasoline other volatile substances are hled, or here carbon dust other incendiary substances are found in the atmosphere. Leaked gas may accumulate around the unit, causing an eplosion. Select a place here rain can be avoided as much as possible. Be sure that the air inlet of the unit is not positioned toards the main ind direction. Frontal ind ill disturb the operation of the unit. If necessary, use a screen to block the ind. Ensure that ater cannot cause any damage to the location by adding ater drains to the foundation prevent ater traps in the construction. Installation operation manual 7 c b a a b c d 8... d c Sea ind Building Outdoor unit Windbreaker Selecting a location in cold climates When operating the unit in a lo outdoor ambient temperature, be sure to follo the instructions described belo. To prevent eposure to ind sno, install a baffle plate on the air side of the outdoor unit. In heavy snofall areas, it is very important to select an installation site here the sno ill not affect the unit (refer to figure ). If lateral snofall is possible, make sure that the heat echanger coil is not affected by the sno (if necessary construct a lateral canopy) that the air bloing out of the unit is not obstructed.
