20 INTERPRETING LED'S TRI-COLOR-LED Green - Red - Amber Red-LED Red LED Indicator Operating and Fault Code Diagnosis RED COLORED LED: This LED indicates the status of the conductivity measurement circuit and the status of the Salinity Control Method (1) Flash every 2 Seconds (2) Flashes every 2 Seconds (3) Flashes every 2 Seconds Continuously On Salinity Control Method= Water Manager is Enabled Salinity Control Method= Water Manager is Enabled Salinity Control Method= Set to drain every 65 minutes of pump operation Salinity Control Method= Water Manager is Enabled Measured salinity is below the set point Measured Salinity is above the set point Cooler will Drain every 65 minutes of Pump Operation Probes are Open Circuit (No Water in the Tank) or measured salinity is less than 12PPM The TRI-COLOR LED (right-hand LED) is used as an operational fault indicator. Note TRI-COLOR LED double flashing every 2 seconds = Normal Operation TRI-COLOR LED Indication Cooler Condition Reason Clearing Faults TRI-COLOR LED (2) Green Flashes No fault Indicated Double flash every 2 seconds indicates that control is running Normally No Fault detected No Fault detected (2) Green Flashes 1. If the cooler receives a valid messaage while the (1) Red Flash Indicates Fault Code #1 Communication failure Fan, Pump and Inlet valve are turned OFF. The Drain Valve stays in whatever position it was in. Time lapsed since receiving a valid message from rremote Control exceeded 30 minutes fault code is present, the fault will be cleared and the cooler will opperate according to the message 2. Disconnect Power Supply to cooler for 10 seconds and then restore Power. Reverts to (2) Green Flashes (2) Red Flashes Indicates Fault Code #2 Failure to detect water at probes Water Inlet valve and Pump are turned OFF. Fan will be off unless control is set to Manual Vent Mode Water not detected at the probes for approximately 17 minutes Turn Remote Control off then on Reverts to (2) Green Flashes (4) Red Flashes Indicates Fault Code #4 Failure to Clear probes during drain Drain Valve Closed and pump turned OFF. Fan will be off unless control is set to Manual Vent Mode Water did not drain from tank within approximately 8 minutes from the time Drain Valve opened and the Inlet valve closed Turn Remote Control Off then On Reverts to (2) Green Flashes (7) Red Flashes Indicates Fault Code #7 Incorrect supply frequency Fan, Pump and Inlet Valve are turned OFF Power Supply frequency is not within 55 to 65 Hz for a period of time. 29 EXV and EXH(ICON) Troubleshooting Horizon Remote control Communication Issues With main power to the cooler ON, when any button on the Horizon Remote is Pressed The Tri Color Led goes Steady state Green momentarily indicating CPMD has received proper signal and then returns to flashing green Remote Control is operating properly Fault code = 00 The Tri Color Led does not go Steady state Green momentarily but continues flashing green indicating no signal was received. Check Batteries, receiver and receiver connection Refer to Remote Control Setup Flowchart Fault code = 01 The Tri Color Led flashes Amber momentarily indicating CPMD address has not been set correctly and returns to flashing green Refer to Remote Control setup Flowchart. If the wall control display does not display service and communication between the wall control and the cooler has not been established Press and hold the down arrow for 9 seconds. The display will go Blank. Check Wall Control wiring and power to the CPMD The Wall control is now set up and can be turned on. PAGE 4

42 HORIZON WIRELESS WALL CONTROL Fault Code 1 Communication Failure Green LED changes to red and gives 1 red flash This happens when the CPMD loses communication with the Horizon Wireless Wall Control for 30 minutes or more. Horizon Wireless Wall Control has been moved out of range of receiver, or signal is being blocked by an obstruction Weak or low batteries in Wall Control. Problem with Receiver, or Receiver cable. Move remote closer to location of receiver. Cooler will resume operation in 2 to 10 minutes. Replace batteries with new alkaline type (AAA). 43 WIRED WALL CONTROL Fault Code 1 Communication Failure Green LED changes to red and gives 1 red flash This happens when the CPMD loses communication with the Harmony Wall Control for 10 seconds or more Harmony Wall control disconnected. Reconnect Wall Control and manually restart cooler using wall control. If cooler indicates Service on display clear service indication by holding down arrow for 10 seconds. And restart cooler.
