Please read this section carefully before using the unit. - Do not operate the product with wet hands. - Do not use in or around water. - Do not place or store this product where it might fall into a tub, sink, or toilet. - Do not use this product in a damp or humid environment or if the product itself is damp. - The device might not meet its performance specifications or cause safety hazard if stored or used outside the specified temperature and humidity ranges in specifications. 1

2 - In the unlikely event of product malfunction, turn off power and stop using immediately. Please contact the local dealer for repair. Any tampering voids warranty. - Use the product only for its intended use as described in this manual. - Do not use it when driving or using any machine or device. - Do not put substances (e.g. medical or cosmetic creams or lotions) between the Electrode pads and skin. - Do not use it at the heart, private parts or skin disease parts. - Do not use attachments not provided with the product, or use the electrode pads other than supplied by the manufacturer, it may bring biocompatible hazard and might result in measurement error. - Do not make any sharp knot in the connecting wires or electrodes. - Do not use it for other purposes except treatment. - Do not use the device if you are connected to, or in the vicinity of, high-frequency surgical or industrial equipment. This may cause burn injuries to the skin under the electrodes, as well as problems with the stimulator. - Observe with caution when using the device in the immediate vicinity of cellular phones that are switched on. - Do not use the device in the direct vicinity of short-wave or microwave equipment, this may affect the output power of the stimulator. - Simultaneous connection of a patient to a h.f. surgical equipment may result in burns at the site of the stimulator electrodes and possible damage to the stimulator. - Application of electrodes near the thorax may increase the risk of cardiac fibrillation. - Do not use with other electrical appliances. - Do not share the electrode pads with other infective person to avoid cross-infection. - Do not use this product while under the effects of alcohol, sleeping pills or sedatives. - Turn off this product if you feel drowsy and before you fall asleep. - Avoid dropping this product, as it is not shock resistant. - Please keep this product out of reach of children or babies. - Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for a long time to avoid damage of battery leakage. - Keep the the main unit and batteries away from heat, direct sunlight, and moisture. HEALTH PRECAUTIONS - Please do not use if you are/have: Pregnant Menstruating Sedated A fever Recovering from surgery Open wounds on your body Skin infections or eruptions - Please do not use: Immediately before or after meals With other electrical appliances - User with implanted electronic equipment, such as pacemakers and intracardiac defibrillators must not use the device without doctor s advice. Pregnant women should not use the device during the first trimester, and should always consult a doctor, midwife or physiotherapist prior to use. - Please stop using it immediately if you experience any pain or discomfort while using this product, and consult with doctors. - This product s designed for adults and should never be used on infants or young children. Consult your physician or other healthcare professionals before using on older children. - If you have any concerns regarding to your health, consult your doctor before using this unit. 3 3 PREPARATION Installing/ Replacing The Batteries 1. Slide the battery cover at the back of the unit. 2. Insert two AAA batteries as indicated in the battery compartment and then slide the battery cover back in place. If the stimulation is too weak, please turn off the monitor and replace all batteries. Battery Cover USING THE UNIT 1. Plug in the electrode pads to the main unit. Both channels can be used simultaneously or separately. Stick the pads to the desired parts. 2. Press the ON/OFF button, the device will be turned on, the LCD lights all display for 1 second, then the device goes into standby mode and wait for settings. 3. Select the program of therapy. When the sign shows on the LCD, press the Mode + or Mode - to select the desired program. Programs can be selected from 1 to Set the time of therapy. Press the Mode and when the sign shows on the LCD, press the Mode+ or Mode - buttons to adjust the desired treatment time. The timer can be adjusted from 1 minute to 30 minutes, the default time is 15 minutes. 5. To switch between the PROG and TIME, press the Mode button. 6. Set the intensity with CH1+/ CH1- and/ or CH2+/ CH2-, and the treatment will start. Different people need different intensity, so increase the intensity from 0 to 9 slowly and carefully, stop increasing when reaching the desired intensity. 7. During the treatment, the minute sign on LCD ( ) flashes until the treatment ends. The unit will shut off automatically. 8. If you want to end the treatment any time during the process, press the ON/OFF ( ) button. 9. When unplugging the electrode pads, hold the plugs. Pulling the wires may result damage. 10. Please use clear water to rinse the pads gently or use wet cloth (do not use facial tissue) to gently wipe the electrode pads. Do not use brush or fingernail to clean the pads.

4 4 TROUBLESHOOTING Problem Cause Solution No stimulation felt The stimnlation is weak. Low battery? Are the batteries correctly loaded? Is the wire properly connected? Are the electrode pads firmly attached to the skin? Are the electrode pads overlapped? Replace the batteries. Check the polarity of batteries Properly connect the wires and the pins. Attach the electrode pads firmly to the skin. Separate the electrode pads and attach them to the skin again. Are the electrode pads dusty? Please clean the electrode pads with wet cloth. Power suddenly cuts off during the treatment process. Is intensity too weak? Are the electrode pads positioned properly? Have the electrode pads come off the skin? Are the wires disconnected? Low battery? Increase the intensity slowly and see if it increases. Change the position of the electrode pad. Turn off the power and attach the electrode pads firmly to the skin. Turn off the power and connect the wire. Please replace the batteries with new ones. The skin becomes red. Is the treatment time too long? Are the electrode pads too dry? Are the electrode pads firmly attached to the skin? Are the electrode pads dusty? Are the surface of the electrode pads scratched? Allergy problem? Shorten it to 10~15 minutes each time. Please gently wipe them up with wet cloth and then try again. Attach the electrode pads firmly to the skin. Please clean the electrode pads with wet cloth. Please replace them with new electrode pads. Please stop using and consult with your dermatology doctor. MAINTENANCE & STORAGE Maintenance To protect your unit from damage, please observe the following: Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, and protect it from dust and moisture. Do not subject the unit to strong shocks or vibrations, such as dropping the unit on the floor. Do not use volatile liquids to clean the main unit. Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the unit. In order to ensure the stickiness of the electrode pads, they should be cleaned carefully with a wet cloth. After each use, attach the electrode pads back onto the plastic film. Electrode pads is consumptive, please contact the local retailer to buy a new pair of electrode pads when the pads is no longer adhesive. Storage Do not fold electode pads. Store the unit and the electrode pads in its storage case in a clean dry place. Keep the product out of reach and sight of children. Remove the batteries from the unit if not used for long time. Disposal Disposal of packing and product after end of lifetime. Deliver all packing materials at a collection point or in the appropriate bins for recycling.
