5 De Dietrich Extended Warranty EXTENDED WARRANTY SERVICE AGREEMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS Conditional upon payment in full of the Extended Warranty Service Fee to Brandt Asia Pte Ltd (the Company ), the Company shall provide to the customer the services set out herein upon and subject to the terms set out below: 1. Appliance and Territory: This Extended Warranty Service provides coverage only for De Dietrich appliances (hereinafter referred to as the Appliance ), listed on the sales invoice, sold and installed in Singapore mainland only. 2. Duration and Condition: The Extended Warranty Service is granted for a three-year (exclude first 2 years) period starting at the date of purchase of the Appliance. This Extended Warranty Service Agreement shall be executed at the time of purchase of the Appliance upon full payment of the Extended Warranty Service Fee. 3. Content: This Extended Warranty Service covers repair of the Appliance, including the cost of labour, transport and functional parts. This Extended Warranty Service does not cover: replacement of consumable parts or components (such as filters, door gasket, rubber sleeve, wire ), decorative parts (such as front/side panel, knob, plastic parts, outer cabinet, handle ), accessories (such as water inlet hose, water drainage hose, metal racks, trays ), cleaning service, transport costs of the Appliance to the workshop if needed. Upon its sole discretion, instead of repairing the Appliance, the Company may decide (i) to replace the Appliance with the same or equivalent model or (ii) to reimburse the customer full or part of the purchasing price of the Appliance actually paid by the customer taking into account an obsolescence ratio. In case the Company decides to reimburse the customer, the Company will pay the full price in Year 1, 80% of the said price in Year 2, 60% of the said price in Year 3, 40% of the said price in Year 4 or 20% of the said price in Year Exclusion: This Extended Warranty Service is excluded in the following cases: inadequate or inappropriate handling, transport or storing, inadequate or inappropriate installation or connection, fair wear and tear, non compliance with manufacturer instructions for use and installation, operation performed on the Appliance by person/staff not expressly authorized by the Company, wrongful use, whatever intentional or by negligence or by omission (such as misuse, abuse, industrial or commercial use including hair salon, beauty salon, damage caused by burglary or theft) use of unauthorized spare parts (other than manufacturer genuine spare parts), corrosion defects excluded in the manufacturer warranty, animal infestation, acts of nature. Appliance which serial number is altered or removed, any failure and its consequences due to external cause or Acts of God. 5. In no event shall either the Company or any company of FagorBrandt group be liable for any consequential loss or damage to the customer in connection with the execution of this Extended Warranty, including but not limited to the loss of use. Subject to the application of the above provision, the total cumulative liability of the Company or of any company of FagorBrandt group, whether based on breach of contract or in tort, shall in no event exceed twice the purchasing price of the Appliance actually paid by the customer.

6 Complete this form, print it out and mail it with the cheque together with a copy of the invoice issued for your purchase. Upon successful application for this extended warranty service, we will send you the extended warranty certificate for your De Dietrich appliance(s).
