2 General Information The Indoor Climate Controller (ICC) can control the power to a wide range of equipment. Intake and exhaust fans can be plugged into the power outlets labeled intake and exhaust (right hand side). Use a fan large enough to replace the indoor atmosphere with outdoor atmosphere in under 5 minutes. This equation is Length times Height times Width of the growing area divided by the cubic foot per minute rating listed on the fan. Example: A 10 x 10 X 8 area = 800 cubic feet. Consider buying a 200 cfm fan. 800 cubic feet divided by 200 cubic feet = 4 minutes, one minute under the 5 minute general rule. The upper left power outlet has been reserved for powering carbon dioxide equipment. Plug the CO 2 power cord (lower left hand) into a 24 hour timer that has the same on/off time as the lights. The timer will turn your CO2 equipment OFF at night and start it at first light. CO 2 outlets turn OFF when exhaust fan outlets turn ON. Set the thermostat and humidistat to your desired settings. The best rule of thumb is here is research the plant(s) you are growing and find out at what temperature and humidity they do best in the outdoors and duplicate that. 3 Thermostat Calibration 1. Place the ICC in the growing area for about 60 minutes. It is important that the air temperature has been stable and reading the same temperature for the full 60 minutes! A minimum/maximum mercury filled thermometer is a good choice for this task. Do not attempt to calibrate the thermostat if the temperature has not been stable. 2. Make sure the area has good circulation and air is passing by the ICC. 3. Turn knob to 110 degrees. 4. Note the temperature of the growing area from a reliable thermometer. 5. Turn the knob back down the degree scale and note when the ICC powers the exhaust fans. Then, return the knob to the 110 degree mark. 6. Turn the calibration screw slightly to the right to increase degree set point and slightly to the left to decrease degree set point. (Calibration screw is located just below the knob.) 7. Repeat steps 3 through 6 until the ICC powers fans when the pointer on the knob matches the temperature reading of your thermometer. 8. Locate the ICC out of cold or hot drafts that do not represent the actual climate of the growing area.

Wipe the housing surface clean with a soft cloth and keep lint, debris, spider webs, etc. from collecting in and on the air vents.

Treat the ICC as you would a thermometer and keep it out of direct heat producing light. Locate the ICC out of cold or hot drafts that do not represent the actual climate of the growing area. Mount the ICC to a wall or structure that is not conducting heat or cold from other areas. Wipe the housing surface clean with a soft cloth and keep lint, debris, spider webs, etc. from collecting in and on the air vents. Do not attempt to stick objects into the vent holes for diagnostic purposes. Make sure your electrical wiring can carry the amp. load of the equipment you plug into the ICC. Never plug equipment into the ICC that would draw more than 10 amps per cord. The Indoor Climate Controller will give years of faithful service with careful use. 7 Warranty Information This product, manufactured by Control Wizard Products, is warranted for a period of 2 years on parts and a lifetime warranty on labor for all original customers with receipt of purchase. Control Wizard Products will determine if faulty materials and/or manufacturing caused equipment to be defective. Control Wizard Products has the right to replace or repair the equipment. This choice will be made solely by Control Wizard Products. This is a repair warranty and Control Wizard Products will not exchange defective equipment unless it is returned to an authorized dealer within 30 days of purchase and is verified by the dealer that is not working properly. Proof with date of purchase from an authorized dealer must accompany any warranty return or the warranty claim will be considered invalid. A return merchandise authorization number must be issued by Control Wizard Products and plainly written on the outside of the shipping box. This warranty does not cover neglect or abuse in any form and only Control Wizard Products can determine abuse. This equipment is not waterproof or water resistant and must be kept out of direct sunlight and sprays of water. Equipment not under warranty will be repaired at the going shop rate at the time of return. Control Wizard Products will not perform any repair unless written permission to do so accompanies the defective equipment. Control Wizard Products will pay for ground shipping (within the contiguous United States) from the factory to the customer or store if the retuned equipment has been determined to be under warranty. Customers assume all liability for shipment of products to Control Wizard Products. All warranty and repair shipping will be done through UPS exclusively. A basic shipping charge will apply to all repaired equipment not under warranty. All repair work will be performed the following workday after being received at the factory if permission of repair has been confirmed.
