Thank you for purchasing a Lemet electric water heater. An electric water heater is a device used to heat water and store that water in a heated state by means of electricity. It is the ideal solution for light commercial, industrial and domestic hot water requirements. Please read and understand this manual before commencing to install the unit and leave the manual with the user. ECOWAY, GREENLINE and SMALL water heaters can be installed only with the use of muffs (domestic cold water inlet and domestic hot water outlet) facing downwards. They can work in a pressurized system with one or more domestic hot water intake points. The vertical mounting method is specified on the cover. The heater is highly insulated and can remain switched on at all times. 1. GENERAL WARNINGS 1. Installation must be undertaken by a competent, preferably certified, installer with knowledge in the installation of unvented electric water heaters. The manufacturer shall not be liable for damage resulting from incorrect installation or a failure to comply with this instruction manual. The assembly must be performed by qualified staff having appropriate permissions, and executed in accordance with the conditions contained in the manual. The installation must be confirmed in the warranty card. 2. Do not use the water heater when frozen. Wait until the water flows again in the water heater before using. 3. Do not attempt to repair, but call a certified installer. Failing to do so will void your warrantee. 4. The appliance may be used by children aged 8 and over and persons with reduced mental, physical or sensory capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge only when they are under supervision or they have been instructed on how to operate the heater safely and know the risks. Children must never play with the water heater nor must they clean the heater or service the water heater. 5. Always use the supplied pressure relief valve or a KIWA approved pressure relief valve. Failing to do so will restrict the proper functioning of your water heater and can potentially damage your water heater. 6. Failing to use the supplied pressure relief valve or a KIWA approved pressure relief valve will void your warrantee. 7. Always install a stopcock on mains water supply line for easy installation and servicing. 8. IMPORTANT: We strongly recommend to install a pressure reducing valve if the water pressure is too high (5 bar or more) or if you suffer from fluctuating water pressure. High water pressure and/or fluctuating water pressure often occur in apartment building, flats, farms, older houses and houses and buildings in elevated areas. Any damage caused by a too high water pressure or fluctuating water pressure will not be covered by the warrantee. Pressure reducing valve 2

An additional corrosion protection is a magnesium anode. In the tank bottom there is a flange with a flanged lip fastened with bolts or a plug. A heater and a magnesium anode are installed in the flanged lip or in the plug. In the ECOWAY, GREENLINE models the insulation is made of polyurethane foam, whereas in the SMALL model with polystyrene. Water is heated by an electric heater, which in the GREENLINE and SMALL models is controlled by a thermostat and in the ECOWAY model by means of an electronic controller. An overheat protection of water heated by the electric heating element is in this case a non-automatic temperature limiter, which disconnects the electric circuit when the water temperature rises too high. This limiter requires manual start in order to restart the heater. In the housing of the heating element control system there is a lamp signalling the operation of the electrical heating element. Two connection muffs are lead from the housing; in the ECOWAY, GREENLINE and SMALL models, connection of cold water is marked with a blue band, and the outflow of hot water is marked with a red band. 3. INSTALLATION Overview COMPONENTS CHECKLIST Water heater 6 bar pressure relief valve ½ Unassembled UK plug General installation instructions Installation must be undertaken by a competent, preferably certified, installer with knowledge in the installation of unvented electric water heaters. The manufacturer shall not be liable for damage resulting from incorrect installation or a failure to comply with this instruction manual. The assembly must be performed by qualified staff having appropriate permissions, and executed in accordance with the conditions contained in the manual. The installation must be confirmed in the warranty card. Make sure the stopcock on the mains water supply line is closed before commencing to install the water heater 6

Lemet Greenline and Ecoway can only be installed vertically. Lemet Horizontal can only be installed horizontally with the hot water outlet and cold water inlet facing downwards Fit all components supplied The water heater is not suitable for outdoor installation It is forbidden to install the heater in places with explosion hazard, in a location with acid vapors and/or dust, or in gas-saturated environments or exposed to freezing temperatures, causing the freezing of water in the tank, in the places where the heater must be exposed to water vapor. In the case of the assembly, installation, and operation of the water heater in unusual places (e.g. in the attic, indoors in rooms with floors sensitive to water, in cabinets, etc.), it is necessary to take into account the possibility of the possible water leakage and in connection with that, take appropriate preventive measures enabling the connection of water and its drainage in order to prevent secondary damage IMPORTANT: We strongly recommend to install a pressure reducing valve if the water pressure is too high (5 bar or more) or if you suffer from fluctuating water pressure. High water pressure and/or fluctuating water pressure often occur in apartment building, flats, farms, older houses and houses and buildings in elevated areas. Install a pressure reducing valve where your mains water supply line enters your premises or right behind the pressure relief valve. Ensure the water pressure is set at 3 bar. Any damage caused by a too high water pressure or fluctuating water pressure will not be covered by the warrantee. Pressure reducing valve 3.1 Connection to the water supply system The heater must be connected to the mains water supply in such a way that it allows easy disconnection for maintenance without damaging the connections and destroying the installation. The minimum free space must be 30 cm for easy access in case you need to replace the heating element or the anode. It is forbidden to cut the connection muffs to the water supply system, since this may cause damage of the corrosion protection coating. The connection of cold water is marked with a blue band, and the outflow of hot water is marked with a red band. The tanks may only be connected to the mains water supply whose water is compliant with the requirements of the Council Directive 98/83/EC of 3 November 1998 on the quality of water for human consumption and competent in the field of the national legislation. It is forbidden to apply plastic hoses for connection, which are not adapted to temperatures higher than 110C and pressure exceeding 1.0 Mpa. It is recommended to use flexible connection hoses specifically designed for hot water. Always use pressure and temperature resistant pipes and connectors. Models: Lemet Greenline vertical/ Greenline Horizontal/ Ecoway vertical/ Small - assembly in pressurised version The water heater can be connected to a water supply system with the pressure not exceeding the one determined for a given tank type in chapter TECHNICAL DATA. In the domestic hot water installation, it is recommended to install a diaphragm vessel for domestic water in order to minimize the effects of the so-called "hydraulic impact" or sudden pressure surges. 7

Always install a pressure relief valve. Use the supplied pressure relief valve or a KIWA approved pressure relief valve or your warrantee will become void. The pressure relief valve is essential. The pressure relief valve must remain open to atmosphere. The supplied pressure relief valve contains a safety valve with the initial opening pressure of 0.6 MPa (6 bar) and a non-return valve. 1) The non-return valve: prevents hot water from the water heater returning to the water mains preventing water hammer. 2) The safety valve: The tank operating pressure is 6 bar. Once the water heater heats up the tank will become pressurized. The safety valve will release pressure when the pressure inside the tank exceeds 6 bar by releasing drops of expansion water. This is perfectly normal. If you use a KIWA approved pressure relief valve ensure it is 6 bar and has a safety valve plus a nonreturn valve. Do not obstruct the pressure relief valve that is connected to the cold water inlet side of the water heater. The cold water inlet side is marked BLUE. Please observe the maximum pressure as specified in the technical data tables. Regularly activate the pressure relief valve to prevent it from becoming blocked e.g. by limescale build-up. Preferably install the pressure relief valve directly onto cold water inlet side of the water heater (BLUE marking), but never further than 2 metres away from the water heater. The arrow on the pressure relief valve must be compliant with the direction of the utility water flow, and the inlet opening of the pressure relief valve cannot be directed upwards. It is necessary to ensure expansion water is properly discharged, so that the discharged water does not drip on the heater and other items in its vicinity. Ensure the expansion water drains of uninterruptedly. Here are three option how to drain of properly. 1. The supplied pressure relief valve: You have to connect a plastic hose (supplied with your water heater free of charge) to the orifice on the pressure relief valve facing downwards to drain of expansion water uninterruptedly to a drain. 2. A KIWA approved safety relief valve: If you have installed a KIWA approved safety relief valve, install a discharge pipe (with our without a drain valve as pictured) directly below the pressure relief valve to drain off any drops of expansion water. Install the discharge pipe connected to the pressure relief valve facing downwards to drain of uninterruptedly. 3. A KIWA approved pressure relief valve and an expansion vessel: You can opt to install an expansion vessel and KIWA approved pressure relief valve to reduce water leakages from that pressure relief valve as much as possible and to relieve pressure from the water heater. Size the drain so that the drops of water can drain off uninterrupted when the safety valve inside the pressure relief valve is fully opened. In the case that the resting pressure in the water supply network exceeds 0.5 Mpa, it is necessary to install a pressure reducing valve (on the water connection to the building) due to the possibility of occurrence of sudden water pressure surges exceeding 0.6 Mpa (increased pressure at night, the phenomenon of sudden surges of pressure in the case of breaks in the water intake). Always drain the water heater as instructed in the MAINTENANCE chapter Connection to the electrical system The heater must be connected to the power supply network equipped with a differential switch and have a protective earthing connection. An unearthed connection to the network endangers the human health and life. It is forbidden to apply fuse elements over 16A in the electrical circuit supplying the heater. Do not use splitters or terminal blocks. STEP-BY-STEP INSTALLATION 1. Determine where you want to install your electric water heater and measure if the unit will fit in the space you d like to install it. The place of mounting the heater must be compliant with its protection class and PN-HD :1999. The installation must allow for an easy assembly and disassembly of the heater, without damaging the connections and the 8

installation. Leave 30 cm of space underneath the water heater to allow easy access for servicing. 2. Ensure the wall is strong enough to support the water heater. Bear in mind that the weight will be the unit plus water, so the wall will have to be strong enough to support that combined weight. 3. The heater must be installed using plugs and screws with sufficient lifting capacity and type adapted to the wall; two on each hanger. 4. During the assembly, it is necessary to pay attention to the length of the power cord and the distance to the power socket. 5. When installing the heater, it is necessary to pay special attention to the location of the pressure relief valve, so that the discharge of expansion water from the pressure relief valve is uninterrupted. 6. Measure and mark with a waterproof marker where you need to drill the holes for the plugs to mount the water heater. Before drilling the holes ensure the holes are level using a spirit level. Some water heaters come with a template to mark the holes. This template can be found either inside the box or is printed on the box. 7. Drill holes, mount the plugs and fit the mounting bolts or screws (depending on the model). 8. Place the electric water heater onto the wall. Make sure it is fitted securely. 9. Tighten the mounting bolts or screws (depending on the model) solidly, so the electric water heater is flush against the wall. 10. Cover ALL threaded fittings with Teflon tape to avoid water leakage. Turn the tape anticlockwise onto the threaded fitting. Use teflon tape on the threaded fitting waterproofing the fitting. Some electric water heater brands have a special coating on the threaded fitting. You can easily remove this coating by using a wire brush and then use the teflon tape and cover the threaded fitting. NEVER remove the polyurethane foam inner layer of the electric water heater found on both the inlet and outlet of the electric water heater. This ensures the sealing of the electric water heater 11. Now install the supplied 6 bar approved pressure relief valve or a KIWA approved 6 bar pressure relief valve as close as possible to the water heater. The pressure relief valve must remain open to atmosphere and never further away than 2 metres from the water heater. Always install the pressure relief on the cold water inlet side of the water heater (the BLUE marking). IMPORTANT: Do not overtighten the pressure relief valve. If you overtighten you can damage the safety valve inside or the valve inside can remain open. This will cause water hammer leading to excessive calcification. See picture 2.1 on how to install the pipeworks, pressure relief valve, stopcock, drain valve, discharge pipe and fittings. IMPORTANT: Use ONLY the supplied 6 bar pressure relief valve or a KIWA approved pressure relief valve! If you DO NOT use one of these pressure relief valves your warrantee will be void as a different pressure relief valve can damage the water heater. 12. There may be a small amount of dripping (expansion water) from the pressure relief valve during the heating stage. This is completely normal. To allow this water to drain away uninterruptedly ensure the following: A. The supplied pressure relief valve: You have to connect a plastic hose (supplied with your water heater free of charge) to the orifice on the pressure relief valve facing downwards to drain of expansion water uninterruptedly to a drain. B. C. A KIWA approved pressure relief valve and an expansion vessel: You can opt to install an expansion vessel and KIWA approved pressure relief valve to reduce water leakages from that pressure relief valve as much as possible and to relieve pressure from the water heater. 13. Always install pressure and temperature resistant water pipes to the mains water supply line. Connect both the hot water outlet and cold water inlet side of the electric water heater with these pipes. DO NOT overtighten the connectors as you can damage the connection causing water leakage. 14. Do not plug the power cord in yet as you have to fill the water heater first. See commissioning (chapter 4) 9

IMPORTANT: The Lemet water heater operates with a working pressure of 6 bar. Always use the supplied 6 bar pressure relief valve or a 6 bar KIWA approved pressure relief valve. If you have it fitted by an installer please instruct your installer use one of these pressure relief valve for the water heater to function properly and to avoid any problems. Moreover, failing to do so will void your warrantee. 4. COMMISSIONING: STARTING THE HEATER 1. To fill the water heater gently open the stopcock of the mains water supply until it is fully opened. Now open a warm water tap of a washbasin. Once both tanks are full you will notice that water flows out in a steady, forceful jet from the warm water tap in the washbasin. You will no longer see spurts of water coming out of the warm water tap due to air inside the heater. Both tanks are now full. 2. Close the warm water tap in the washbasin, but keep the stopcock of the mains water supply fully open. Always keep that stopcock fully open. 3. Now switch on the electric water heater by plugging in the power cable into the socket. 4. After filling, it is necessary to check the tightness of the installation and the tightness of the heater. If there is a leakage of water from under the flange cover or the heating element, tighten it so as not to damage the thread. 5. Set your electric water heater to the desired water temperature using the analogue controller. Preferably set the temperature at 65 degrees celsius to ensure an even longer lifespan of your water heater. 6. GREENLINE and SMALL: set the temperature with the thermo regulator knob. It is recommended to set the knob in just below the MAX setting of the regulation scope, i.e. about C. The lamp lighting up means the correct operation of the heater - the electric heating element is working fine. In order to temporarily shut down the heater from the flow, it is necessary disconnect it from the power supply. ECOWAY: Set the required working mode in the ECOWAY model. It is recommended to set the ECO+ mode as you will have optimal heater efficiency in this mode. It will also increase its service life. In order to temporarily shut down the heater, it is necessary to turn off the controller. 4.1 ECOWAY: control panel 1 ON/OF button 2 ECO+ button - turns on the ECO+ mode 3 PROG button - changes the working mode (manual/eco+ programmer) and the settings of the DAILY TIME PROGRAMMER. Using the up/down keys, set the required temperature within the scope of 20 to 75 C and after setting and approx. 3.5 sec, the controller will display the required and current temperature ECOWAY: ECO+ WORKING MODE It is a mode in which the controller learns when and in what amount hot water is used (studying your hot water consumption). During the first week of learning, the controller maintains the water temp in the tank at the level of 70 C, in the subsequent weeks at 45 C (or other temp. depending on the selection of the user in the service menu), and it heats the water in advance to make it available at the right time and in the right amount, depending on the expected hot water usage. This allows us to minimize the use of electric power needed to maintain the required water temperature in the tank. In the service menu, in the case of regular use of domestic hot water, it is recommended to set temp. ECO+= 35 C and if it is irregular, ECO+= 45 C. To reset the ECO+ program learned by the controller (restarting learning), it is necessary to press and hold the ECO+ button. To set the ECO+ mode it is necessary to: press the PROG button until the ECO+ LED lights up or press the ECO+ button; the display will show ECO and the current water temp. in the tank interchangeably, in accordance with the pattern below. The ECO+ mode can also be set at any time period of the DAILY TIME PROGRAMMER. 11

4.3.3 ECOWAY: DAILY TIME PROGRAMMER. SET 3 SEPARATE TIME RANGES In this mode we program three time periods and set the temperatures/eco+ mode for them. It is recommended to use this working mode in the case of having two electricity tariffs (day and night). In order to minimize the energy costs, it is advisable to set the maximum temperature for the night tariff, and the ECO mode for the day tariff. The factory settings of the programmer are shown below: P1 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM temp. 70 C; P2 from 22:00 PM to 6:00 AM temp. 70 C; P3 ECO+ mode To set the DAILY TIME PROGRAMMER, press the PROG button until the programmer LED(s) light up (P1, P2), then press and hold the PROG button - stages of programmer settings: a - The display shows P1S (beginning of program 1). In the event of the overlapping of program P1 and P2 in time, the controller will implement program P2, which takes precedence. 12

4.4 ECOWAY: Other functions / running in the background Dry stop function - protects the heating element against damage as a result of the lack of water in the tank. Please note, that you can never switch on a tank that holds no water. In that case the Dry stop function will not prevent damage. The function is activated at any time when the heater starts working and lasts for 1.5 min. and may not be stopped. At this time, the HEATER LED will continue to be lit even if we change the program or temperature setting Anti-freezing function - is activated when the controller is off (only the power LED is lit). It prevents the water in the tank from freezing by turning on the electrical heating element Anti-legionella function Operates automatically. Every 14 days, the controller heats the water in the tank to 75 C to disinfect the tank surface and eliminate any possibly present legionella bacteria, Temperature limiter function - prevents overheating of the water in the tank - In case the water temperature increases excessively, the electricity supply to the heating element is disconnected at both poles Hysteresis function - the controller turns on the heating element when the water temperature drops by 2 C below the set temp., which allows for lowering the number of switching cycles and increases the service life of the heating element and the controller components Clock - displays the programmed time in the controller; to display the clock, press OK Active protection - a set of relays which disconnects the electric heating element on two poles, which increases the safety of work of the heater by eliminating the possible risk of electric shock ECOWAY: Error codes Er01 - the temperature limiter was triggered - exceeding the permissible water temp. inside the tank. Before re-connect the heater, it is necessary to remove the plug from the socket for at least 5 minutes and wait till the water temperature drops. Er02 - the driver has detected the lack of water in the tank. To clear the error, press OK. That switches the driver off and will cut of the power to the heater for 20 minutes and then resume normal operation. In the case of frequent Er01 messages and the fluctuation of water temp at the tank supply, it is recommended to turn the detection of the lack of water from the service menu - item 7.7. AL or AH - damage to the temperature sensor or a decrease in temperature below 0 C or rise above 99 C, it is necessary to call your supplier to replace the sensor. 4.6 ECOWAY: Service menu To navigate to the service menu, it is necessary to turn the driver off (the POWER LED is lit), and then hold the PROG button. 14 5. USE/OPERATION 5.1 Safety of use All repairs to the water heater should be entrusted only to professionals with appropriate qualifications. It is forbidden to remove the cover if the heater is connected to the electricity network. It is necessary to adhere to the provisions of this OPERATION AND INSTALLATION MANUAL. Models: ECOWAY/GREENLINE and SMALL- assembly in pressurized version: If water vapor is emitted from the water tap or hot water outlet, it is necessary to leave the tap/outlet open and immediately disconnect the heater from the electrical network. Report the incident to the manufacturer or your supplier. Using the heater, which emits water vapor is a threat to the human life and health. Do not operate the heater without a working pressure relief valve. Do not prevent water from dripping from the pressure relief valve, do not block the pressure relief valve discharge pipe. Do not operate the heater if there is no flow of water through the pressure relief valve. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any valve malfunctions caused by its improper installation and errors in the system. It is necessary to control the pressure relief valve regularly in accordance with its instruction manual. 5.2 Operation In the GREENLINE and SMALL models the heater operation is reduced to setting the temperature regulator by means of the thermo regulator knob; in the housing there is also a control lamp of the heating element operation. In the ECOWAY model, the operation is reduced to setting the controller. In the ECOWAY, GREENLINE and SMALL models it is necessary to check the heater protection at least once a year by measuring the effectiveness of neutral earthing Cleaning, maintenance, and replacement of the magnesium anode The heater should be cleaned with a damp cloth without the use of aggressive abrasive cleaning agents. It is recommended to have a qualified installer rinse the heater off sludge. To maintain the heater in good performance, it is necessary to remove limescale from the heating element regularly, by means of appropriate chemical agents or by crushing the limescale layer with a delicate, blunt tool, such as a wooden spatula, so as not to damage the surface of the heater. It is recommended to have a qualified installer descale the tank. You can also opt to do it yourself. A factory-installed or new magnesium anode shall be replaced on one's own and at one's own expense regularly, however, at least every 24 months from the initial date of the warranty period; it is recommended to have a specialized company replace the anode. Again you can also replace it yourself. It is necessary to keep the proof of purchase of the magnesium anode, the worn anode, and the replacement confirmation with a date and a stamp for inspection by the service station in case of the tank failure. The anode type is specified in chapter 2 Technical data. An efficiently working magnesium anode is a condition of maintaining the warranty. The necessity to replace the magnesium anode is caused by its gradual wear which is largely dependent on the chemical composition of the water and the operating temperature of the heater, therefore, in order to maintain the optimum protection of the tank against corrosion, it is necessary to replace it. Any damage to the tank caused by the wear of the anode (which results in the improper protection of the tank) is considered to be caused by the fault of the user and in this case is not covered by the warranty. To replace the magnesium anode see chapter

6. DEFECTS AND TROUBLESHOOTING 7. MAINTENANCE The great advantage of an electric water heater is that is low maintenance. However this does NOT mean it is maintenance-free. A water heater does require maintenance from time to time. 7.1 Venting or bleeding the water heater Switch the power off by disconnecting the power cord from the socket. Open a warm water tap. Make sure the stopcock of the mains water supply is fully open. You can now hear it fill. That noise will stop once it is completely filled. The unit is entirely filled once the water flows out in a forceful jet from the opened warm water tap. Now connect the plug to the socket and switch the heater back on. 7.2 Draining the water heater Take the power cord from the power socket. Place a bucket underneath the cold water inlet side (BLUE marking). Close the stopcock on the mains water supply and then remove the pressure relief valve plus the discharge pipe. Put your finger on the domestic cold water inlet side (BLUE marking) and connect a water hose to that BLUE side to drain the water. Now disconnect the copper pipe or flexible (pressure and heat resistant) pipe attached to the hot water outlet side (RED marking) to let air in, so the tank will empty. To speed up this process you could push some air into the hot water outlet side, with a bicycle pump. 7.3 Thermal cut-out reset This unit contains a manually re-settable thermal cut-out that will switch the power off if the temperature reaches an abnormally high level. Just push the white pin inside the thermostat and you will reset it. 15

7.4 Decalcifying the water heater and how to replace the anode 1. Take the power cable out of the power socket 2. GREENLINE: remove housing with signal lamp and temperature control ( Part 4 on picture and 2.2.2) underneath of the electric water heater and take of the temperature knob. ECOWAY: remove casing with driver (Part 4 on picture 2.1) 3. Once you have taken of the housing/ casing you will see a round disk (a flange) fitted with bolts 4. Close the stopcock on the mains water supply line 5. Drain the electric water heater through the cold water inlet side (BLUE marking). See how to drain the water heater in chapter 7.2: Draining the water heater how to drain the water heater 6. Remove the thermostat (with the thermal cut-out) from the flange 7. Loosen the bolts of the flange to separate the flange (with heater element and anode attached to it) from the tank. 8. Now remove the electric heater element and the anode from the flange by loosening the bolts that fix both to the flange. 9. Remove any incrustation from the electric heater element with a steel brush. You can also soak it overnight, in a bucket of kitchen grade vinegar. Replace the anode. 10. Fix the cleaned heater element and the new anode with the bolts to the flange. Put the flange aside 11. Use a water hose to rinse out any limescale from inside the tank. Alternatively take the water heater from the wall, place the unit in the bathtub or in the shower and use the shower hose to rinse out any limescale from inside the tank 12. Once the tank is cleaned fix the flange with heater element and anode back on the tank. Replace the rubber between the flange and the tank. Tighten the bolts of the flange to attach the flange to the tank. 13. Put the thermostat onto the flange 14. Close the cover and put temperature knob back onto the cover and the thermostat 15. Now hang the water heater back on the wall 16. Reinstall the pipe or flexible hose to the hot water outlet side (RED marking), attach the pressure relief valve to the cold water inlet side (BLUE marking) and reinstall the pipe or flexible hose (with a stopcock) that connects the mains water supply line to the pressure relief valve. 17. Fully open the stopcock on the mains water supply line to refill the tank. Meanwhile open a warm water tap. The unit is entirely fillled once the water flows out from the tap in forceful, uninterrupted jet. 18. Only then switch the power back on. 8. WARRANTEE MODELS: ECOWAY, GREENLINE AND SMALL Warranty on the tank tightness -..., Other parts / components -..., - The warranty period is calculated from the data of sale entered in the warranty card and confirmed with a purchase document. - Warranty outside the Republic of Poland is exercised by the local distributor/importer. - 16

The Guarantor ensures smooth operation of the heater under the condition that it will be installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual. - Within the warranty period, the user shall be entitled to free repair of damage to the heater resulting from other causes inherent in the product. Outside the Republic of Poland, the deadline for the removal of the device defects shall be governed by the legislation of a given country or the warranty of an authorised distributor/importer. - The warranty repair does not apply to activities provided for in the instruction manual, which the user is obliged to perform on their own and at their own expense. - The warranty does not cover the defects caused by the misuse, repairs or modifications by unauthorised persons, as well as the assembly and operation of the device not in accordance with this instruction manual. - The warranty does not cover any damage caused by random events (storms, fires, floods), - In case of malfunctions, it is forbidden to disassemble the unit; the defect should be reported to the guarantor. It is necessary to keep the proof of purchase of the heater along with a warranty card stamped at the point of purchase, to be inspected by the service. - In the case of the lack of free access to the heater for its maintenance, repair or replacement, the guarantor or the service designated by them shall not be liable for any inconvenience and costs caused by the disassembly or the installation. - The repair method is determined by the guarantor. - The guarantor shall not be liable for the pressure relief valve malfunction or improper installation, e.g. the lack of cold water pressure reducer (it applies to the assembly in the pressurised version), - The guarantor shall not be liable for the malfunction of the three-way tap, improper assembly and improper installation (it applies to the assembly in the non-pressurised version). - In cases not regulated by these conditions, the local regulations shall apply. Any use of the heater without a working pressure relief valve or any mechanical damage shall void the warranty. Damage caused as a result of a faulty pressure relief valve (usually "bloated" tank or cracked cylinder) is not covered by the warranty (it applies to the assembly in the pressurised version). - Using the heater in water supply networks with a pressure greater than the one specified by the manufacturer without a working water pressure reducer shall void the warranty (it applies to the assembly in the pressurised version). The manufacturer reserves the right to introduce modifications of the newly manufactured devices without prior notice. - The basis for any warranty repairs shall be the warranty card that is properly filled out and stamped at the point of sale and the installer, without any amendments, as well as the proof of purchase. The possible duplicate of the warranty card can be issued by the guarantor upon the submission of the necessary documents. The manufacturer shall not be liable for the water quality (any chemical compounds present in it, the oxygen content in the water) and any inconvenience in the operator of the heater connected with the above. - Any repairs and modifications by unauthorised persons shall void the warranty. - Any mechanical damage to the tank (heater) shall void the warranty. In the case of an unjustified call of the warrantor to make repairs, any resultant costs shall be incurred by the user, The device must be stored at a positive temperature in dry rooms, free of dust and aggressive substances, protected against mechanical and chemical damage, - Regular replacement and working magnesium anode is a prerequisite for maintaining the warranty on the tank. Any damage to the tank caused by the wear of the anode (which results in the lack of protection of the tank) is considered to be caused by the fault of the user and in this case are not covered by the warranty. A failure to replace the magnesium anode in the intervals determined in the warranty card shall be the basis for the refusal to perform the warranty repair and shall void the warranty. - Used magnesium anode is faulty. 9. OTHER INFORMATION It is forbidden to put the used equipment together with other waste - the heater mass is given in Chapter 2. The heater contains elements which are potentially dangerous to the environment, therefore, at the moment it is worn, it shall be submitted to a specialised recycling company, to the point of sale or to recycling organisations via collection points. 17
